“Trace, are we in the right place? OH MY GOD THAT RHYMED! Trace, place. Trace, place. Trace, place,” Kory Arnold-Saunders chanted happily.
Trace Saunders sighed and slapped a hand over his stepbrother’s mouth. “Shut up Kory. And yes, we’re in the right place,” he said, pulling Kory into the house.
“Who are you guys? You’re cute!” Evander Sudlow said, eyeing Trace and Kory.
“Evan, don’t make me take you home,” Sebastian Amsel said with a sigh, wrapping an arm around Evan’s waist.
“You can eye rape me, but not my boyfriend!” Kory cried, jumping in front of Trace and narrowing his eyes at Evan. “He’s my boyfriend! Nargh! Get your own!”
“I have my own! And he’s way sexier than yours!” Evan argued, turning crashing his lips on Sebastian’s.
“Well, I’m turned on,” Noah Hottie said, watching Evan and Sebastian.
“Noah!” Maxwell Quincy said, rolling his eyes and smacking Noah’s arm.
“What?” Noah whined, rubbing his arm. “Don’t act like that’s not hot!”
“What’s hot? Me?” Evan asked, pulling away Sebastian. “Because, yes. Yes I am hot. Sexy would probably be more accurate, actually. Man, good thing I’m modest! Modest and sexy. Impossibly sexy. Sometimes I take my shirt off and stare at myself in the mirror. Is that weird? Nah, it’s definitely normal.”
“Why are we here again?” Mark Luce whispered to Maxx Falcone.
Maxx wrapped his arms around Mark and kissed him. “Because it was here, or Chandler’s house. And Chandler’s little sister had her friends over, and they’re all as clingy as she is. Basically, you’d be raped by a bunch of little girls,” Maxx explained.
“So that’s how Shaw is spending his New Years Eve?” Mark asked. Maxx nodded and Mark giggled at the thought.
“Aw! That kid is adorable!” Nick Bradley cried eagerly, jumping up and down and pointing at Mark.
“Nick!” Phillip Brooks snapped.
“Oh Phil, don’t get your panties in a bunch,” Nick said, rolling his eyes and kissing Phil. “I was just making an observation!”
“Oh my god. There’s two Max’s here. THE WOLRD IS GOING TO IMPLODE,” Noah cried in horror, staring between the two boys.
“But Maxx spells his name with two Xs,” Mark pointed out. “And Maxx is his name. It’s not short for Maxwell or anything.”
“Well…Max with one X is cuter,” Noah argued, wrapping his arms around Maxi.
“You guys are stupid,” Trace grumbled.
“Trace! Don’t be so moody!” Kory said, kissing Trace’s cheek. “Turn that frown upside down Mr. Partypooper!”
“EVERY PARTY NEEDS A POOPER, THAT’S WHY WE INVITED YOU!” Evan cried.
“I really don’t like him,” Trace said with a sigh.
“But he’s so attractive!” Kory cried, rushing over to Evan and dropping down next to him. “Hi! I’m Kory, and you’re hot!”
“I’m Evan and you’re weird,” Evan said, hiding behind Sebastian. “Cute, but weird. Sebastian, I can’t handle so many weird people in one place! And so over hyper.”
Sebastian sighed.
“You’re adorable! Can I keep you as a pet?” Noah asked Mark, poking him in the shoulder.
“He’s mine!” Maxx whined, pulling Mark behind him.
“Noah,” Maxi said impatiently, grabbing Noah’s hand and dragging him away. “Bad boy! You have a boyfriend!”
“I can’t blame Noah. Mark IS adorable,” Nick said, watching them.
“Nick, stop it!” Phil snapped. “You promised me you would never leave me for anyone else!”
“I’m not leaving you for anyone Phil! Oh my lanta boy,” Nick said, shaking his head.
“Oh,” Phil said, slipping into his childlike mode as he wrapped his arms around Nick. “Okay. Sorry.”
“He’s weird,” Noah whispered to Maxi, pointing at Phil.
“He’s not weird!” Nick said defensively, grabbing Phil before he could kill Noah.
“OH MY GOD HE WANTS TO KILL ME!” Noah shrieked, hiding behind Maxi.
“I’m going to let him,” Maxi said with a sigh, stepping away from Noah.
“WUT. Maxi, get back here and protect me right now mister!” Noah demanded.
“Can I kill him Nick? Please?” Phil asked, pouting at Noah.
“No! I don’t want my dad to arrest you again!” Nick said sternly, gripping Phil’s hand so that he wouldn’t charge at Noah.
“I’m starting to think we would’ve been safer at Chandler’s house,” Mark said to Maxx.
“Kory! Get away from them,” Trace said, storming over to Kory and grabbing his hand.
“But Traceeeeeee! I want to sit with the sexy kid!” Kory whined, giving Trace puppy-dog eyes.
“Psh, you’re weird kid,” Evan said, flicking his hair out of his eyes dramatically. “Although I can completely understand you’re attraction to me.” He pat Kory’s head sympathetically. “I’m attracted to me too.”
“That is so weird Evan,” Sebastian said, shaking his head and kissing Evan’s cheek.
“I want to be over here! You people seem fun. And you’re attractive,” Noah said, popping up behind Evan and Sebastian. He leaned against Kory and smiled happily.
“Get off of him!” Trace snapped.
“Aw Trace, he’s fine! I like him. He’s outgoing!” Kory said, grinning widely.
Sebastian shook his head and got up. “I’m going over to normal people. Call me if you need me Evan,” he said before wandering over to Maxx and Mark.
“Are you normal?” Sebastian asked.
Mark and Maxx nodded and Sebastian sighed in relief. He loved Evan, but sometimes he just needed to be around people who didn’t constantly blurt out idiotic things.
“You’re not going to try to take Mark from me, are you?” Maxx asked cautiously, wrapping an arm around Mark’s waist.
“No, I have a boyfriend,” Sebastian said, gesturing at Evan.
“Good,” Maxx said with an approving nod.
“Stop being so overprotective Maxx!” Mark said, laughing and offering Sebastian an apologetic smile.
“Hello normal people,” Nick said, going up to them and waving, Maxi trailing behind him.
Nick jerked a thumb at Maxi. “He’s adorable too.” He grabbed Maxi and shoved him at Mark. “Now be adorable friends!”
“Um…hi,” Maxi said shyly.
“Hi!” Mark said, waving at him with a friendly smile.
“Wait…if you’re over here…and Maxi is over here…then where is Phil?” Maxx asked.
“Probably killing Noah,” Maxi said with a shrug.
“Nah, he’s arguing with Trace,” Nick said, pointing at them.
“My boyfriend is better!” Phil was arguing.
“Mine’s not better, but he is more attractive!” Trace argued.
“Way to stick up for me!” Kory whined.
“Sh! Let them argue,” Evan said, slapping a hand over Kory’s mouth.
Evan whined and pouted at Kory, pulling his hand away when Kory started licking it. He wiped his hand on his jeans.
“Friggin’ brat,” he grumbled. His eyes widened. “LIAM CALLED YOU IN TO TAKE SEBASTIAN FROM ME, DIDN’T HE?”
“Uh…WE KILL THE BATMAN!” Kory shouted.
“Guys shut up! Look, the ball is dropping!” Noah cried, pointing at the TV screen.
Everybody instantly shut up and shifted together. Kory and Nick managed to pull Trace and Phil apart with little trouble.
“TEN!” they all started chanting together. “NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN! SIX! FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! HAPPY NEW YEARS!”
Sebastian kissed Evan deeply. Maxi hugged and kissed Noah. Phil smiled and shrugged before kissing Nick. Trace sighed and gave Kory one of his Trace-smiles before kissing him. Mark wrapped his arms around Maxx’s neck and kissed him lovingly.
“HAPPY 2013!” the boys cheered.
