"And that makes you the Scarlet witch."
"Get off of me! Let go of my brother!!" Tommy yells at Agatha
"My powers work out here, did you forget?" Wanda threatens Agatha
"No dear, I'm counting on it" Agatha smiles wickedly
Agatha then uses the restraints she has on Billy and Tommy to pull them to the ground with a thud making them groan in pain
"Ah!!"
"No!" Wanda yells and shoots a ball of magic at Agatha
Agatha gets knocked to the ground which releases the restraints on Faith, Tommy, and Billy
"Mother!?" Nicholas Scratch runs to her side
"Faith!" I smile as Faith runs behind me
"I got this mom" he says confidently
He uses his hands to mimic my weapon spell I taught him. He uses it to break through pietro and my own restraints.
I quickly get up being able to move again pietro grabs Faith protectively
"Boys go to your room!" Wanda yells to her boys
"Faith you go with your cousins and stay somewhere safe." I tell my son
"Yes mom" he nods and runs off quickly with Tommy and Billy
Pietro and I take our place next to Wanda.
Agatha brings herself back up not even hurt by Wanda's magic
Nicholas stands by her side armed with magic as well
"Come on Wanda blast her again" pietro encourages his sister
Wanda follows through and blasts Agatha again but this time Agatha catches the magic from Wanda.
We all stand stunned
"I take power from the undeserving Wanda. It's kind of my thing" Agatha snickers as she absorbs Wanda's magic
Wanda holds up her hands to see that they are slowly turning a charcoal black color
"We don't now what we're up against" I shake my head looking at pietro for any sort of plan
Wanda is the most powerful avenger... how is this random witch lady making her look weak
Suddenly Agatha shoots magic at Wanda knocking her down
"Clearly you are in over your head" Agatha laughs floating closer
"Don't you dare" I boom boom woosh my hands together to make 2 orange shields
"Well look at you! Scratch take care of her." Agatha rolls her eyes at me and throws a ball of magic my way
I deflect that one but before I know it she's thrown another
"Y/n!" Pietro catches me as I fall back and Agatha flies past us for Wanda
"I'm good- I'm okay" I stand back up and boom boom woosh again
"Tell me you know more magic than that?!" Pietro asks me worriedly
"Well..." I say nervously trying to think about it
"One trick pony?" Scratch cocks his head at me
"This guy again? Shut up! pietro keep your eye on Wanda" I roll my eyes and run at this guy to attack
As I go to attack him a car flies over our head and directly into Agatha which lands right into the front window of a house
Nicholas looks panicked for a second but he quickly assesses the situation
"Hmm... you know what? I'm gonna go grab some tools, let's find those kids of yours!" He smirks before disappearing in a cloud of purple
"Pietro!" I yell
"Y/n! Pietro! Get to the kids! I can do this!" Wanda nods to us
Pietro flashes to his sister and touches her forehead to his before picking me up and running to find the boys.
We end up in Wanda's house... we know Nicholas is lurking around somewhere
"Boys!" I whisper yell as pietro and I stop in Billy and Tommy's room
"Aunt y/n!"
"Mom!"
"Y/n Stark"
I look to see Monica Rambeau standing with the boys
"Oh my god monica!" I smile
"I was trapped in Wanda's house by Scratch. These boys saved me" she looks proudly at the boys
"Monica do you know anything about what's going on?" I ask her
"Hayward has a weapon I don't know what it is yet but he's going to use it to take Wanda down I don't know where vision is but he needs to get here now" Monica says
"I can go find him. Will you guys be okay?" Pietro asks me
"Look who we got on our team, we will be just fine" I smile and he hugs me before running out
Tommy flashes in front of me
"Aunt y/n you have to let me go out there and fight!" Tommy begs
"Boys we've brought the fight to our house... now Tommy, do you still have those water balloons?" I ask with a smile
"Is it really the mailman?- I just wanna say I always thought he was weird" Billy shakes his head
"Yeah... mom do you think I could mimic him?" Faith asks me
"Faith, I know you can" I get down on my sons level and nod to him confidently
We begin a plan to defeat Scratch. I have a feeling he's not all he's cracked himself up to be.. Son of Agatha or not I really don't think he's any more magical than I am at his age. Now we also have Monica by our side
The plan is mostly monica and I doing the heavy fighting since we cannot put the boys in danger. But Faith has to be able to watch Scratch to see what he can do
"Mom we can do more!" Faith tries to convince me
"I'm sure you can. But as your mom and aunt to you two, I can't let you be in danger like that" I tell them
"Which is why you are in charge of the shaving cream water balloons" Monica smiles
"Alright team, let's go" I nod
We go ahead with the plan. I'm going out first.
I step out of the boys room and go down Wanda's stairs to the living room which now looks like a TV set with chairs set for a live studio audience
*clap, clap, clap*
"Took you long enough" he gives a fake yawn and takes his feet off of the chair in front of his
"Scratch" I nod cautiously watching his movements
"You know y/n I expected the whole family to come rushing down to fight me" he shakes his head
"We thought maybe we would give you some time to warm up" I smile confidently
"Time to warm up!? Well I guess you are a powerful opponent..." he circles around me
"Well glad you know what you're up against" I smile
*boom boom woosh*
With my two shields up I focus and use magic to lift me off the ground so I can fly around
He looks angry and flies up to meet me
"Listen Scratch I don't know much about you except that you and your mom are some real weirdos. But there is one thing I have that I know you don't" I say looking at his hands to make sure
"And just what would that be?" He looks a bit amused
I quickly use my sling ring to create a portal on both sides of Scratch
"Now!" I yell
Tommy jumps up out of one portal and hits Scratch with a water balloon full of shaving cream
"Grrraugh!" Scratch suddenly uses his magic to turn all of the light sources into bugs crawling on the floor and walls
So it is now pitch black and there are bugs crawling everywhere
I use a portal to take me into the secret room where our little team is hiding out
"Come out come out wherever you are!" Scratch calls
"Good work Tommy- wait- where is Faith!?" I look around but the darkness makes it so hard to see
"I can see him! I can see his aura- it's out there with Scratch" Monica says as her eyes glow this beautiful color
"Oh god Monica" I look at her worriedly realizing Faith went out on his own
"We have to continue with the plan, Faith must know what he's doing. But we need to be careful, those bugs are like sensors" Monica nods handing Billy and Tommy another water balloon
"They're all over we have to be aware" I whisper worried as I look out at the floor covered in bugs
We move slowly in darkness still all we can see is Scratch and his purple glowing hands
Faith is around here somewhere trying to observe...
"So you've sent the mimic out! A child!" Scratch laughs maniacally
"Well, seeing that your mom had me blindfolded I'd say I'm a threat to you" Faith appears in front of Scratch and before scratch can react Faith does the same spell that Scratch did to make the bugs except Faith did it in reverse.
Suddenly all of the bugs vanish in a purple smoke and the lights come back on
"Go!" I yell and Tommy and Billy throw the balloons covering him in shaving cream
This causes scratch to become enraged, he groans in anger and purple magic flies out of his body some hits monica sending her flying back. Tommy grabs Billy and flashes out of reach from Scratch's magic.
But with a flick of his hands scratch catches the three kids in neck harnesses keeping them tethered to him
"Mom!" Faith chokes
"Look at that, I caught all three!" He chuckles
"I won't hesitate to kill you" I threaten seriously as I use magic to make orange daggers. I didn't know how I did it but seems I conjured them out of anger
"Not if I kill you first" he smirks and uses his free hand to shoot a purple ball of magic at me
Before it hits me I split into astral form. I watch over my body as the magic comes hurling towards me
I hover over to scratch and push my astral form into real time and punch him right in the face
He groans and falls over as I take my real form back and use a portal to make the ball of magic blast Scratch instead of me
"Billy it's time!" I say as I open 3 portals that the boys drop into and when the portals close the magic harnesses are severed
"You think I'm scared of these kids??" Scratch yells getting back up
"No, but tell me what's your biggest fear is?" Billy appears next to him and taps Scratch right in the temple a blue magic forms in scratch's eyes as a nightmare takes over his thoughts
I swiftly kick scratch in the chest sending him to the ground
"Tommy, Faith, duck tape time" I nod
The two boys smile at each other and in a split second scratch is taped to the wall
"Nice!" Billy smiles
"Now that was speed" Monica high fives the boys finally recovering from the magic blast she took
"Idiots" scratch laughs weakly
He whispers something in Latin then suddenly he disappears
"Where- where'd he go" the boys look around panicked
Suddenly monica jumps up and grabs Scratch out of thin air and slams him into the ground going through the floor into the basement. As Monica gets up she glows purple
"Thanks" I gasp a little in awe
"Don't mention it" she nods
Suddenly there is an explosion outside
With a flash of blue pietro is at my side
"There's bad news and there's good news" he makes a face
"What!?" Monica and I ask
"Vision is back... but so is vision" pietro says
Monica and I share an equally confused expression
"Boys come on come with me" pietro grabs them each
"Come on Monica" I nod
"I'm sticking around, there's no way scratch is out of the game. You guys go" Monica says shaking her head
"Kick his ass" I smile confidently to her
We take the boys and run out of the house.
We watch as vision and white vision? wrestle each other through the sky
"Woah!" Tommy and Faith gasp
"Where's Wanda?" I ask pietro
"Billy can you see her?" Pietro asks his nephew
Billy closes his eyes and then opens them panicked
"It's her! She's in the middle of town- she's hurt" Billy exclaims
"Let's go then" I nod to pietro
Suddenly above us the red walls of Wanda's illusion begin to break down
"Come on boys go!" Pietro grabs Faith
I make a portal and we all end up where Wanda is.
We see Agatha watching over Wanda as Wanda uses her powers to break down the barrier and let all of the citizens go
"Pietro we have to help her" I start to run to her when I see Vision falling from the sky
Vision hits the ground with a thud but when he gets up it's like he's falling apart. Parts of him are glitching away as the walls of Wanda's little world are being torn down
"Wanda!" Vision yells reaching out for his wife in agony
"Mom"
I hear faiths little voice
I turn to see him fall to the ground glitching away the same as Tommy and Billy.
"Faith" I instantly tear up running to his side and falling trying to hold him
Pietro stands paralyzed watching his son slowly disappear in pain
"Mom! Help!" Tommy and Billy call out to Wanda
"Now you see Wanda, you've tied your family to this twisted world and now one can't exist without the other!" Agatha taunts Wanda
"Boys!" Vision calls for his sons as they scream in pain
"Mom what's happening?" Faith looks up at me in pain as he glitches in and out of my grasp
"Faith- it's okay. It's okay" I nod through the tears
"Save Westview or Save your family?" Agatha watches
"Pietro" I look up at him as I cry watching our son be torn apart
"Wanda, it's okay let go" Pietro runs to Wanda's side trying to talk to her
Wanda yells out in pain and falls to the ground as she lets the walls of Westview close back up, the illusion becomes fixed
I hug Faith so tight crying as I look up at Agatha
Pietro runs to my side and picks up faith and I. He runs us over to Wanda and the rest of the family
"Boys, y/n" Wanda hugs us all worriedly
"Are you okay mom?!?"
"Boys"
"Wanda"
We all share a moment until Agatha chants something in Latin
"No!" Wanda yells as she puts a force field of magic up around our family
We all cower in fear as the purple magic hits the red force field surrounding us
Suddenly Wanda screams as Agatha starts to take away Wanda's magic.
She looks down to see that her hands and arms are now a charcoal black color
"Wanda" pietro huffs angry at Agatha
"Mom are you okay?" The boys ask her
"How sweet" Agatha taunts flying over us
"Umm... uncle vision" Faith points to the sky as we see white vision flying towards us
"Pietro look" I point to the many SWORD vehicles driving straight in our direction
"I'm backkkk" scratch appears in a cloud of purple smoke holding monica hostage
We get into our defensive hero stances as the cars pull up and soldiers with guns step out pointing them at us.
"Alright family, what's the plan?" I ask looking around
"Well I guess we never gave the kids this talk huh?" Pietro looks at his sister
"He's right. Boys, we never really prepared you for this..." vision nods
"But you were born for it" Wanda says confidently
"What if you get hurt mom?" Faith looks up at me
"Like my pops once said: you get hurt? Hurt em back" I nod with a confident smile
Boom boom woosh and I have my shields.
Vision flies off fighting other white vision as we get to work.
The soldiers with guns point them up to Agatha first but Agatha quickly picks them up with her magic
"Same story different century. There'll always be torches and pitchforks for ladies like us Wanda" Agatha taunts
Then Agatha drops the soldiers but luckily Wanda catches them with her own magic and sets them down nicely
"I have a plan to defeat Scratch." Pietro says to me
"Boys handle the military. I'll be right back" Wanda tells us
"You got it?" I ask the three boys
"Heck yeah!" They smile
"What's the plan?" I look at pietro
"You know I think I got this one" pietro smirks before running off with a flash of blue
"Oh my god" I roll my eyes and conjure a shield in one hand and a dagger in the other
Before I reach scratch he's suddenly punched himself in the face and on the ground.
"Woah" I gasp
"Didnt see that coming" pietro stops at my side looking proud of himself
"Monica" I run to her and help her up
"I have to talk to the sword people" she breathes heavily as she gets up
"You go, we got him" I nod
I look up to see pietro using hand combat against Scratch which he has improved on so much. Pietro flashes around distracting Scratch until scratch mutters something in Latin that freezes pietro so he can't move
"Don't even start with me- you weird witchy soldier" scratch points to me with glowing hands
"Why afraid you'll lose?" I smirk and run at him jumping and using magic to support me in the air
I jump onto him and get a good slice on him. But then I'm covered in purple and he throws me right into pietro
We go tumbling away
"Come on we gotta get up" pietro lifts me with him
"Y/n! Faith- he got into that car with Hayward- he said he's gonna stop him" Monica tells me worriedly
"Go help our son, I got this" pietro kisses my head
I make a portal and open it into the passenger seat of the truck Hayward is in
"Holy shit!" Hayward jumps scared by me
"Hey watch your language my son is here" I say offended
"Wha- your son?" He looks confused
"Here!" Faith appears next to me and punches Hayward in the face
"Nice one" I nod surprised
"Learned from you... but it did hurt a little" he smiles shaking his hand
I look out the window to see Darcy driving a car straight at the truck we are in
"Darcy?" I ask aloud
"Mom we gotta go!" Faith taps me
I grab onto him and he teleports us out of the truck
Darcy hits Hayward's truck with the car
"Have fun in prison!" She shouts
"A little overkill don't you think?" I smirk at her
"Nice to see you too y/n thanks for the heads up on Hayward's files" she smiles and winks
"Mom look!" Faith smiles tugging on me
We look to see Monica and pietro have Nicholas Scratch stabilized.
"Aunt y/n" Billy and Tommy run to Faith and I
"Faith that was awesome" Tommy smiles
"Boys!" Vision flies down to see his sons
"Vision" I smile seeing Hes okay
"Where's Wanda?" Pietro flashes over to us
"Fighting Agatha" Billy points to the sky
We see Agatha and Wanda rising up into a dark red cloud
"Oh god" I grab Pietro's hand as we watch Wanda blast her magic at Agatha
"She must know that is suicide- her magic" Vision shakes his head as he holds onto his boys
"She knows what she's doing, she has to" pietro watches his sister worriedly
"Mom is aunt Wanda going to be okay?" Faith asks me worriedly
"Yes she will, she's very strong" I nod looking up at her
"I have to help her!" Vision flies up to meet his wife
Wanda stops vision from reaching her with a blast of magic
"Wanda what are you doing!?" Vision yells to his wife
We watch as Wanda hits Agatha with magic blasting her magic all over the place
Vision flies back down to us and hugs his sons close not wanting them to watch
"Hey, would this be a bad time to tell you guys I broke out?" Scratch says standing like a diva behind us
"Give it up Scratch my sister won't lose" pietro sighs turning to look
"No, you know what I am so sick of you" I roll my eyes and boom boom woosh
I fly and attack scratch with magic and we end up going through the window of an old store
As we battle with magic the whole sky goes red as Wanda releases all of her magic to Agatha. I turn away from Scratch to watch
The whole sky turns red as Wanda releases all of her magic to Agatha
Pietro hugs Faith close to him
"Looks like it's over for you freaks" scratch smirks restraining my hands
I half expect him to kill me right there
"WANDA!" pietro watches knowing he can't do anything to help his sister right now
"Mom!!" Billy and Tommy yell as their mom gives away the last of her magic
"Wanda!" Pietro shouts up at her sister
A tear rolls down my cheek as I think it really is all over for us.
But then nothing happens...
we look up to see Agatha trying to cast a spell... but she can't?
Suddenly my restraints are gone and I turn to look at Scratch who can't use magic anymore.
I smile realizing Wanda won.
"Uh- hey let's take it easy" scratch throws his hands up innocently
"One trick pony?" I smirk and roundhouse kick him
I take scratch's unconscious body out into the middle of town.
I look up to see Wanda has come back to life and revealed that she has cast runes on the town of Westview. Meaning only she can use magic in this space
"Nice job with scratch" pietro pulls me in and kisses my cheek
"Don't praise me, look at Wanda" I smile looking up at my sister in law
"She's got Agatha right where she wants her" pietro laughs happily watching his sister
With a massive flash of red light that makes the rest of us have to look away Wanda takes back her magic from Agatha
Once the light goes away we look to see Wanda looking the most powerful she ever has.
"Guys look!" Pietro smiles seeing Wanda coming back to the ground with Agatha
The sky clears up
"Mom" Billy and Tommy smile
"That's my sister" pietro grins proudly
We watch as Wanda deals with Agatha. In the end Wanda chooses to keep Agatha prisoner here as the role of Agnes. And she returns Nicholas scratch to his role of the mailman.
Once Wanda turns to face us pietro flashes right to her side and picks her up in a hug
Then the rest of us run to meet her
"Mom!!" Tommy and Billy run and hug her
"So it seems our dream home has become a fixer upper" vision says looking around at the town of Westview that is in shambles from the fighting
"Come on toaster it's not so bad" pietro pats visions shoulder
"I know you'll set everything right. Just not for us" vision says to Wanda quietly
"No... not for us" Wanda shakes her head tearing up
Pietro looks at me sadly catching on to what Wanda means
"We should head home" vision nods now patting pietro on the shoulder
"Yes! Let's go home" I rub faiths shoulder lovingly
Reality really starts to set in at that moment... thinking that none of this is actually real is starting to really hurt. I begin to tear up thinking of losing this life we had... but I should be happy right?
Faith holds pietro and my own hands just like he used to as we walk down the streets back to our houses which only makes it hurt more
Seems as though Wanda's illusion is coming to an end.
