Tomorrow morning, Disciple Apple visit the Beast-Tamer League. She deliver the news about the annual auction hosted by Imperial Family.
According to her, tha auction will happen two days from now which will be hold at Heavenly Fire Imperial City.
There's a great distance between the Five Element Sect and the Heavenly Fire City, perhaps two to three days worth of travel. Fortunately, Mikoes Granji, the Second Lord of Yin-Yang Paradise, have the memory of the place. The others might need days of traveling but he could arrive their in the next second if he wanted to with his [Gate].
The only and also new member of the Beast-Tamer League, Mike, was the one tasked to guard the base for the meantime. He'll be responsible for the base's whole operation, which for now was to mainly accept members. And so, he's temporarily assigned as Manager of the league. The [Ancient Contract of Damnation] was also temporarily handed to him along with the [Intention Stone].
Then Cole briefly told him the uses of everything. And when he said that the worn contract he holds was infact a Holy-Rank Equipment, the poor guy fainted. When he woke up again, he holds the scroll tightly with his trembling hands.
But before he travel to Heavenly Fire City, he'll wait for Ricky to finish his seclusion first before he go there. But if he can't finish his cultivation, Cole will have to go there on his own.
Now that whole day have passed outside, the time inside the [Inner World] are one week. Which means that Ricky was on seclusion for a week already. It seems that digesting the inheritance from [Blood Realm] takes a really long time.
In addition to receiving the inheritance, it seems that the two are balancing their level. After all, their level both have big difference; Ricky was already a Core Formation-Stage while his beast was just Tier-2.
And so, before that, he'll tinker his base for the meantime.
Yesterday, he was promoted by Grand Elder Caira as an Core Disciple. With that new status, he now have the permission to enter and live into the core area of the Wood-Peak where the Energy was most rich.
And since he have the affinity to both Water and Wood, Grand Elder Caira also gave him the permission, and a special token that acts as the key, to cultivate inside the Convergence Peak.
With all of this new benefits, without a doubt, his status in the Five Element Sect soar to the sky. He's also given an Elder Level authority.
However, he also frankly said that he don't have the idea of moving. The league's target recruits is everyone, which includes from the lowest disciple to the highest. If decided to move towards the core area, or even at the middle area, with the authority of those outer disciples, they won't be able to access those area much less join his group.
And so, instead of moving towards other area, he just requested to gave him the surrounding free area on his base.
His request didn't recieve any kind of opposition. It was because among other area, the Outer-Peak have the most big space and most of those was not in use. And since the area around his base was do free, his request was easily granted.
Although the process runs smooth, Cole knew that it wasn't because he's already known and also arouse Grand Elder Caira's interest, it was probably because he have an item that they need.
The Water of Life might have been sold to Grand Elder Caira but they clearly saw with their own eyes that those [Void Breaking Pill] stored in his spatial ring. Those Grand Elders, Elders, or perhaps including Peak Masters, are currently currying his favor in hopes of easy negotiation. They don't dare to rob the item out of the disciples hand. He's already powerful enough to defeat all of them, after all, they could clearly judge that Disciple Ryan could defeat them and he's defeated by other party.
And so, by now, Cole was currently checking the expansion of his area. However, he can't yet to make his plan to reality. Most of the ingredients needed was already available as some of those was cultivated by the elves, however, others are rare and currently missing. He have to find them first.
There were now an additional five building in the territory assign to him. Four of those was originally meant for accommodations which greatly save his time. And since they were unused for quite a long time, dust were already accumulating. He just use Pis-Ces' [Free Water Manipulation] through [Soul Mimicry] and clean the buildings instantly.
As for the last building, it looks like a huge, tree vault. The building was meant for storage.
Cole nodded his head. His greatly satisfied with the new additional buildings and territory.
After the initial check, he started to make his second plan, and that is to plant the majority of territory with [Mind Calming Grass]. He's really adamant on making his whole territory a great cultivation area both for tamer and their beast.
As Mike and his tamed beast Miles, the Green Wolf beast, as an example, he learned that the moment the tamer was recognized by the League Banner, the moment the beast makes the official contract to its master through [Pet Contract], the beast will also received the same benefits as his tamer. Which means that the hidden rich energy of the base will also be available to them.
Growing a whole area of [Mind Calming Grass] is very easy for Cole. Just three hours later, a big area in his territory have already transformed. And all of this was possible only becuase of his unique technique, [Plant Growth Acceleration Technique].
If before when he's still a Mana Gathering-Stage cultivator, he have to point his hands to the target. Now that he's a Nascent Soul-Stage, the whole Wood-Energy will be emitted by his whole body. The difference between the two was the first one was a single target while the second one was have an AOE.
He was on this process when Grand Elder Caira and his entourage visits his base. To say that these group of people was shock was an understatement. This move, though very practical and impressive, needs a huge amount of energy to do so. For normal cultivators, this was akin crazy move. Even for cultivators who focus on cultivating different herbs and likes for refining pills and others didn't use this move.
But anyway, it's no big deal. This kid have affinity with Space and also gifted and talented with Soul. Using his Wood-Energy like this seems more acceptable.
Still, the whole group watch it with all their focus. They can't deny the fact that the whole spectacle looks very mystical and beautiful, it also depicted the beauty of nature and life.
"I heard that you ask about the Imperial Family annual auction, are you attending there?" Grand Elder Caira immediately ask after Cole stop sending a very pure Wood-Energy.
"Disciple Cole have seen Grand Elder Caira and fellow disciples." He greeted first the elder and her company.
Cole nodded his head, "Yes, I have something that I want among the item to be auctioned."
"Good, then let's go together."
Doubt flash at Cole's face, "Do you guys also have something that you want among the items to be auctioned?"
Grand Elder Caira shakes her head, "Not really but we have a official business to do there. Attending that annual auction will just be a past time." She answered.
But the truth is, Grand Elder Caira don't want to attend the so called auction of Imperial Family. What could she expect from lower land? She just wanted to accompany Cole, to cultivate feelings and familiarity. This kid's talent is truly great, he's bound to be have resounding successful future. Might as well cultivate good feelings so she could hug this golden thigh in the near future.
"Is that so?" He pause, "Come, let's go to my place. Let's talk there." He then guide the other towards his league base building.
Suddenly, while walking, one of the ladies of the group approach Cole. She smiled sweetly at him.
Among the group of youths, this innocent looking lady is one he's more guarded about. He don't know why but his instincts told him that this lady was more deadly and ruthless than Ryan who's the leader among them.
In addition, he also have some of impression to this innocent looking girl. He clearly saw how Ryan's group gave their [Void Breaking Pill] to Ryan for the bet. Among those fifteen [Void Breaking Pill], five were from Grand Elder Caira, one each from other six including Ryan, and this lady contributes four pills.
[Void Breaking Pill] was great, however, it's understandable only if they have one. This little girl gave four pills, perhaps those pills come from shady means like... robbing. In addition to Cole's impression about this girl, his idea about him further justified.
This little lady is deadly!
"Hello, League Leader Cole. I'm called Lilia. I'm kind of interested on joining your league, can I?" She ask with her sweet voice.
Cole thought for a moment before he answered, "Of course you can. But are you sure with your decision?"
Although the little lady was from Middle Lands, at the end of the day, they were still a one Sect. He thought that there's no problem of her joining the branch here. However, what he's confused about is why did she want to join something in the Lower Lands? Didn't those Middle Landers have the mentality of superiority and everyone and everything on the Lower Lands are inferior?
Well, it seems that everyone have their own unique temperament and line of thoughts.
"No problem! Even my Master agree to my decision." She answered energetically.
A flash of confusion appear on Cole's face.
"Oh, we forgot to tell you that Grand Elder Caira is one of the Alchemist of our Sect and a certified Monarch-Rank Alchemist. Lilia is her personal disciple." Ryan informed him when he saw the clueless expression on other's face.
"Oh!" He then gave a glance Grand Elder Caira and the latter nodded her head to him, signifying that all of the information are true.
"Don't worry, I have my own companion beast!" Lilia exclaimed when she didn't recieve any kind of response.
Cole smile at Lilia's childish behavior.
"That's good. You'll just have to complete number of steps before and you will be certified Beast-Tamer League member." He said excitedly. Now that he knew that this lady was a personal disciple of Grand Elder Caira, knowing the profession of the elder, she definitely knew how to refine pills. Lilia will be the very first talent of his league!
He don't know why despite knowing those informations, his deadly impression about the lady still didn't vanish...
When they arrived at the base, he gave Lilia to Mike to manage while he took Grand Elder Caira and the other six youths to fifth floor.
But before the discussion, Grand Elder Caira gave first the reward for the completion of Flower Head Forest mission.
He received 50 000 Contribution Points, fifty Energy Pills and also another chance to choose another Heaven-Rank Technique from the Technique Tree.
Cole nodded his head in satisfaction when he saw the lucrative reward. It seems that with Grand Elder Caira, no one tried to cheat his rewards.
"As for our business at the Heavenly Fire City, in here in the Lower Lands, well, there's a ruins discovered in the Bewildering Forest. The one who discovered it, Cold Jade Palace, gave the other Sect the chance to enter it and try their luck at the cost of giving them 30% of the items that will be found." She stop her narration as she wait for Cole the ruminate the new information.
"Why did they share the information of the discovered ruins? And they even invited others to participate?" He ask.
"Well, first of all, to avoid the wrath and greed of other Sect. If the other superpowers learned that they search the whole ruins for themselves, those greedy peoples will attack their Cold Jadw Palace. And so to avoid that to happen, they'll make it as collaboration so the others will thought twice since there were many powerhouse who benefit from the ruins."
Cole nodded. Which means that if one of those collaborators got attack by greedy peoples or organization, those others who also benefit will attack the thief since there's a high chance that they will be next to be assaulted.
Then Grand Elder Caira continue, "As for why they want the others to search the ruins with them, the answer is simple, they want the others to share the burden of dangers of the ruins."
"Oh." The ruins should be some kind of remnants of other people or creature civilization. It's normal that the place have countless traps and formations that protects the place. So instead of fully enduring the burden, they invited the others to also solve those protective mechanism.
Here Cole thought that the Cold Jade Palace will lose greatly of sharing the information of the ruin but the truth is it was otherwise. Not only their lose will greatly decrease, they will also have a share of harvest of the others.
"The discovered ruins have some kind of restriction, only those with Nascent Soul-Stage and below are able to enter the secret place. Any higher than that will be barred from entering."
She continue again, "There's only a week remaining before the agreed day of the ruins exploration. The Five Element Sect from the Middle Land agreed to send seven disciples from there while three will come from here, the Azure Territory's Five Element Sect. It was also preconcerted but the others that the exploration party will meet at the Heavenly Fire City."
"As for the three people from here that will be included to ruin exploration, the first is you, the other two are Metal Peak Master, Lady Tina's personal disciple called Steel and Fire Peak Master, Madame Red's personal disciple called Fiera."
