In that instant, battle were all ceased. Elf Matriarch Mayana immediately fly towards Cole direction, along with the Forest Wolves and the other four Elven Grand Elders.
Meanwhile, the intruders group, the remaining people of Yin-Yang Paradise, all run towards the Second Lord direction. If they want to survive this upcoming explosion, they must take cover as they don't have the time to escape, and only the Second Place Lord was one who have the capabilities to protect them.
Unfortunately, they were inside of a forest, there's no thing that could cover them except the fragile trees which is not enough.
The Second Lord of Yin-Yang Paradise also fly towards the group who wanted to take cover to him. All of these people were all important and high ranking officials of his paradise, he won't care if one or two will be eliminated in this operation, however, losing ten of them at once will deal a great blow to their paradise' overall strength. It was practically losing a limb of their whole, which is why he's also adamant on protecting them.
Booom!!!
Then the loud, expected explosion happen. Many of the trees were uprooted and a big crater appear on Cole's front. Dust cover the whole place, as though there's a sandstorm in the middle of the forest.
Without a doubt, their location was devastated. Of course, the owner of the territory was also feeling devastated, the Alpha of the Forest Wolves. It practically destroyed this patch of the forest!
After the big explosion subsided, pained groans and moans could be heard, mostly from the intruders group.
When Cole check and saw that there's some of his allies are missing inside the protective barrier, dreas immediately wash over his body as he knew that they don't managed to arrive inside the barrier on time. Without a doubt, they receive the whole brunt of the explosion.
Despite the huge explosion of the self destruction, [Protect] only ripple but didn't shatter. Since the Summoning Grimoire are already a Divine-Rank Equipment, the protection it creates are also more powerful. Just a simple explosion of Nascent Soul-Stage cultivator are not enough to break the whole barrier.
However, just to be sure, he didn't widen the coverage the whole barrier just to make the whole barrier more powerful.
There's only three allies of him that was missing inside the [Protect] coverage, among them were two of the Forest Wolves and, unfortunately, Grand Elder Fern.
Grand Elder Fern treads an unusual path for elves. Unlike the others, he focus on his strength which makes him slightly lose the innate agility of elves. He was second late.
Immediately, Cole close his eyes and use [Divine Sense] and everything within 100 meters with him as the center was clearly projected to his mind, not impended with the dust of the surrounding.
In the south was where he found Elder Fern along with the two missing wolves. The three of them was lying on the ground. Grand Elder Fern was facing the way of the explosion, with that as indication, it was apparent that he protected the two beast from the explosion. They were riddled with various injuries but most of them was not critical since they used their own energy to create a barrier which blocks majority of the damage.
Fortunately, Cole could still feel life force from them which indicates that they were still alive. It was very weak though.
On the east side was where all the six beast and the corpse of the beast tamer Ahman was blown. Among the six, three of them were killed while the other three have still a very weak life force, including the two Tier-5 and Peak Tier-4 Poison Cloud Lion. However, since they were unguarded from the explosion, they were riddled with much more critical injuries. Large patch of their body was either missing or burned.
Their outer appearance looks very bad, without a doubt, their internal organs were also damaged to high degree. If not given immediate action, they'll die.
The intruders, on other hand, was a little better. They were still ten people, however, they also have various degree of damage. They were protected by Second Palace Lord, still, three out of ten were lying on the ground. Even so, Cole could feel a very strong life force from them, which means that they only receive heavy enough injuries but not enough to threaten their life.
Nonetheless, their whole current state now was weak, very different to Cole's group who was still on their peak condition. Though they also suffered from the loud noise created by the explosion.
After Cole found all of his targets, he holds the floating Summoning Grimoire in his front and silently chanted, "[Time Heal]."
Cole might have been already influenced by this world's mentality of indifference towards killing and death, as though it was very normal everyday occurence, he still can't stomach it if happen to his allies. Fortunately, the whole place was covered by dust which could cover his secret.
Magic formations appear one by one below Grand Elder Fern, two Forest Wolves, and he also includes the three beast who's still struggling to live.
In Cole's opinion, those so called tamed beast was innocent, and this was further supported since he already knew that their original soul was sealed by the Beast Tamer Sect. In a sense, they were just puppets in the hand of those so called beast tamers. Now that they were freed from their hands, they were nothing but empty vessels, unless the beast's original souls was freed from the [Modified Soul Seal].
They were definitely not to be blamed by the sins of their controller.
Along the whole time, his Time-Energy stagnated to First-Level of Mana Gathering-Stage. It was one of his lowest energies. In other word, it was not enough to heal six creatures as once. But he have the Ethereal Time Crystal, he used the energies of this certain item to cast his skill.
However, Cole miscalculated something. Matriarch Mayana and the three Grand Elders, the Alpha, Luna and pack member of the Forest Wolves pack were already worried to death when the other three were missing and were not inside the protective barrier. They can't even appreciate the unusual barrier.
The moment the whole phenomenon of the explosion finished, they immediately stirred their aura and disperse the dust that cover the whole place. It was the same moment when Cole cast [Time Heal].
And so, with the join hands of strongest individual of their group, the dust was cleared in a second. Without a doubt, they saw the miraculous scene that was happening behind the curtain of dust.
The wounds and injuries of the body above the formation circle was currently glowing with green light and visible at the naked eye that injuries were healing at fast rate.
Grand Elder Fern's group were only glowing lightly since their injuries were not that many as they protect themselves at the last second.
The three beast, on the other hand, were glowing very brightly as their injuries were more sever. The amputated limbs or body parts, flesh and others, were also floating back and reconnected. It was quite a miracolous scene.
Soon, the healing process was finished. Grand Elder Fern and the two Forest Wolves stand-up, recovered. However, they just look at their body with shock, struggling to believe that one second they were writhing in agony then healed in the next.
It was the Second Lord of the Yin-Yang Paradise, who return to his senile appearance by now, who exclaimed loudly and broke the silence;
"Sky Mending?!"
In that instant, countless profanities was spoken by him inside his head.
There were three kinds of lands in this realm; the Low Land, also called the barren land, Middle Land, the rich land and the Saint Land, the divine territory where the thickest Heaven and Earth Energy reside.
In the Saint Land, there were many powerful sect and organizations, so powerful that even just their lowest member could annihilate any so called powerhouse in the Low Land.
There were many prominent sect there but one of the most powerful among them, also very known throughout the world of cultivation, was the Sky Mending Sect. This was a sect that known to their mastery of the one of illustrious element, Time. Just like what the name of their sect implied, in their peak, they could even mend the void and sky.
There were even a legend among them from the battle of the Buddhist cultivators and the Devil Race, the sect leader of Sky Mending Sect mends the Heaven and Earth from the devastating and apocalyptic effect of that battle. It was achieved by turning back the time before the battle commenced.
Now, he could see with his own eyes the same scenario, though a lot more inferior. But without a doubt, this will only be achieved by using the work of Time.
Regret immediately filled his whole existence, and most all, fear. Time affinited person was very rare and they were treasured anywhere they go. He might not be afraid by another person with affinity with Time, but that certain guy have a powerful book equipment. Just this fact was enough indicator that he's backed by a powerful force, with a very high chance that it was the Sky Mending Sect; after all, the technique of turning back time was the sects renowned move.
This guy might be a disciple of the said sect, probably wondering to acquire enlightenment and experience.
Just... Who's the one he managed to offend this time?
Killing him is out of bound. Sky Mending Sect have a very long inheritance and rich history. There were countless way for them to protect a single wandering disciple from being killed while gaining experience. Even if he managed to, it could be traced by the sect and when they do, his Yin-Yang Paradise will be eliminated to ground and to the last disciple.
However, with his current state, escaping are already hard, much less eliminating the kid who was always behind the protective barrier. Self destructing himself might be able destroy the barrier, but he's afraid for the future of his Paradise.
When the Matriarch of Elves raise her bow and aim at their group, Second Palace Lord kneel on the uneven ground with his for head touching the Earth and said very solemnly, "If you want to kill us, we won't struggle, but please, spare my Paradise, young Lord."
Cole was surprised with the suddern turn of events. Just a moment ago, they were neck to neck of with one another, yet, here was their enemy suddenly kneeling on the ground while pleading.
Still, he didn't show any trace of confusion in his face. He don't know what thought is flowing in the old man's brain but it should be something very scary and intimidating that he could even over his and other lives who he tried very hard to save. He don't want to destroy the terrifying image he conjure with his own.
"Do you thin that I'll let an demonic sect continue their operation and existence?" He ask with very deep, serious voice.
Second Palace Lord shake his head instantly, "No, no, the whole Yin-Yang Paradise is not an demonic path sect, only my faction and subordinates practice this in secret!" He paused, his face was full of panic, "If the young Lord wants, I'll even kill those said practitioners with my own hands! Just spare the innocent members!" He hastily added.
Cole raise his brow and asked full of doubt, "Do you think I'll believe with your words?"
"If this young Lord wants, I could even make an Heaven's Oath!" Second Palace Lord answered instantly.
"No need to make an Heaven's Oath, just open your soul defense."
The pale face of the old man paled even more. Deliberately removing the soul defense will makes the soul and Sea of Consciousness bare to any attacks and whatnot. If his juncture is true then he'll definitely use the purple worm mist casted by the little girl beside him to attach a parasite to his soul.
With that, he could fully control him, along with his life and death.
"If you make a Heaven's Oath of removing the other practitioner of demonic cultivation, there's many loopholes for you to take advantage. I just want to fully control you, making sure that you'll won't do anything funny!" Cole said. "Of course, if you don't agree, I'll eliminate you here and now and I will also target the whole Yin-Yang Paradise, innocent or demonic cultivators." He added.
Despair registered at the old man's face. Moments later, he succumb and accept his fate, finally removing his mental defense.
Celia immediately casted her [Parasitic Worm Mist] and make it reside inside the head of the old man. Seconds later, it was fully attached, definitely needs many treasures and efforts to be removed if he wanted to.
Cole decided to also parasite the other nine members of the Yin-Yang Paradise. This people didn't even try to struggle but they didn't lower their soul defense, however, it was as though as paper barrier for the parasitic worm, completely useless.
"I won't kill them for the meantime, just treat them as your subordinates for your mission." He said to the Second Lord.
The old man nodded his head.
However, after he did, blood was sprayed to his back. When he look at his back, he saw that two of his people were coughing a large amount of blood, their seven orifices are also bleeding, and a pained expression was apparent on their face, as though they experienced a soul wrenching pain.
"Don't even think about it." Celia said with indifference.
Those two were actually thinking of how to inform their Paradise when they arrived at their place.
With the great example of killing a chicken to warn the monkeys, the others immediately disperse the plans they're brewing inside their head.
