In this one shot Dabi will be know as Touya but his hero name will be Dabi! Hope you like. Spoilers are in this chapter from the manga.
Youya pov
When I met her she was like the sunshine I've never seen. I was crying on top of the hill I used to train when my father threw me away like my other siblings. Unknown to me my flames were growing around me. When a girl called out it kind of snapped me out of the feeling, but the fires still danced. That's when I realized it wasn't my normal red flame but blue. When I was hugged in a protective way is when I looked up to see her. She had made a water bubble around us to protect us from the flame." Are you okay?" She said. She couldn't be much older then me or even my age. I saw her eyes they had fear but like a hero should she kept a smile." The adults should be here soon." She said her voice trembled a little.
It was a good 15 minutes when a hero came and it wasn't the one I wanted. She called her self (y/n) but she was passed out when my father came up. Both of us wet from when the water feel on us." Touya!" My father yelled." Dad." I said scared kind of holding her. The paramedics came and took her away. That's when he grabbed my hand kind of hard. " come on you need to come too." He said to me.
I was in the hospital getting checked out." Quick thinking on covering yourself and the girl with water. The burns could have been way worse, even deadly." He said to me." Is she okay? I need to tell her thank you. She's the one with the water quirk." I said to him." She will be fine." The doctor smiled to me messing with my kind of curly red and white hair. My dad like normal wasn't in the room.
Your POV
I woke up with burns on my hands but nothing to bag. I looked around and looked to the hall to see endeavor. He's the one who saved us! That so cool! Didn't realize I was starring until one of the doctors that were talking to him pointed to me. I got nervous when he came to me.
" I wanted to say thank you for helping my son." He said." He can't control his quirk, it's too powerful for him to handle." I listened to him as he spoke." He's okay though right? He looked really upset and scared." I said kind of messing with my hands." I do want to apologize but that none of your problem." He looked kind of mad and then he left.
A week later I went to school. I was in middle school learning about heros. As I was walking I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned I was a girl. I've seen her around I know I have. But I don't think we ever had classes together." Hi" I said with a smile." I wanted to say thank you." I was confused." My brother kind of lost it, and my father really isn't to nice to people." It hit me this must be his sister." Can I ask your name? And I never got your brothers name either." I asked her. She smiled a little bit." I'm fuyumi todoroki. My brothers name is Touya." She said to me." Can we talk during lunch maybe?" She asked me and I nodded.
Soon enough lunch came around. I saw fuyumi and waved them I saw touya. I saw his hair was completely white now though. Touya didn't speak as me and his sister did but it was nice to know he was okay. I looked over to him." You can join the conversation anytime you know." I said with a smile. He looked at me his blue eyes held emotions that I couldn't read." So I hear from Touya your quirk is water?" Fuyumi said stopping the silence." Yup I can control water. But the water has to be there for me to use it." I explained." But there was no water around when you helped me." He finally talked." Yes there was. In plants there's water even if there burning they can have water inside of them." I said as I pulled out water from the grass to show them. Touya looked curious and fuyumi looked kind of concerned.
Touya pov
It's been about two week since the fire. My burns have healed but hers were still healing. She said her quirk keeps her skin always damp so burns are harder for her to heal. She wasn't in school today and I was kind of sad. Since I just started going to public school I didn't know many people.
I walked around with my lunch trying to find a spot to eat. " Touya!" I looked to see her with a smile. I looked down and back up at her." Hi." I said to her. Her bandages are off so I asked" are you healed all the way now?" I asked her. She nodded with a smile." We have some cool looking scares now huh!" She smiled to me. I didn't notice but my face was red a little." Are you okay Touya?" She asked me looking at me closer. My face got more red as I got a look at her (e/c) eyes." Yeah." I said to her. She laughed a little" that's good to hear."
" Touya! Mom is here to pick us up." Fuyumi yelled to me. I rolled my eyes." Aww I just get here and your leaving!" She said to me." I have a doctors appointment." I said to her. She looked sad." Maybe I can ask my mom if you can come over?" I said to her not wanting her said. I know my dad won't yell with company other also. She nodded with a smile and I started to walk away.
My mom was there with a new blue mark on her arm. I mad and just walked to to car. Mom does nothing about the abuse and just takes it.
Your POV
I was at my desk swinging my feet as I listened. I'll be able to play with Touya after school! I smiled to myself.
I walked out with my bag and waited for Touya. Soon I saw my moms car come up." Mama I'm waiting for my friend! He said he would ask his mom if I could come over and play!" I said to her she smiled." Okay, what's your new friends name?" She asked me. When I said his name her eyes widen a little. That's when I saw Touya and his mom drive up.
His mom came out and she looked so shy coming up to my mom. So that's where he gets his shyness." I'm sorry I think my son wanted your daughter to come over, but we can't have any people over right now. I just had a baby and we're still getting used to having another one in the house." His mom said with a shy smile. Touya looked annoyed." Mom you just don't want me having friends!" He said to her. Where did that come from?" It's okay Touya! Can we play at the park if my mama watches?" I asked the lady. She kind of looked worried and nodded.
Touya was kind of looking down to the ground from the top of the playground." Hey (y/n)." He said to me. I looked over to him." You think I can be a hero?" He asked me in a sad voice." What kind of question is that." I said to him." You can be a hero if you put your mind to it."
He sighed" but my dad says otherwise. Since my quirk hurts me." He said back to me." So what, a lot of heros have quirks that hurt them. No big deal as long as you don't over do it."
Touya pov
My eyes widen to what she said. Then she explained more." Kind of like me! I get a small cut and it takes forever to heal." She smiled to me." Touya." I looked down to see my father." We are going home." He said to me I saw her mother come up to him." Your Enji? Right?" She said to him." I'm (y/m/n), I've been watching Touya. My daughter hasn't had a friend in a while, can they just play together for just a little longer." She said to him. He glared down to her." Fine." He said. Which surprised me.
As me and (y/n) talked I over heard my father talking to her mom." So what is your daughters quirk? I know it deals with water." He said. " you hear that." I said to her. She looked over to me." I won't be surprised if I can't play with you anymore." I said to her." Why?" She said confused." My dad has this twisted way of me finding friends. If he thinks the quirk is bad bye bye." I said to her."(y/n) one that mountain you caught me at my braking point. I was ready to do something I now would have regretted." I said to her." Seems like a nice girl." I snapped back to my father. That's new.
~Time skip to high school still Touya pov~
With the proper training and the help of (y/n)s family I was able to get into UA with her. Not gonna lie I was really happy. Over the years I still resented my family. But I slowly got over it. Yeah Shoto may be my dads perfect creation but I didn't let that get to me anymore. And that only happened with (y/n). Some days when that fighting was bad between my family I would go to her house and her mother would welcome me with open arms. I never saw her father though. I didn't think it was my place to ask since they were one ones helping me.
Me and (y/n) were walking back to her house after school when my sister came running up to me." Touya you need to come home now!" She said scared and worried." What why?" I said to her. I made it where I would stay out of my parents drama." Mom she was sent to a mental hospital and Shoto is burnt! You can't just get rid of us!" She said to me with tears in her eyes." Look fuyumi, mom knows what he does and wanted to have more kids. It's her fault and dad I stopped caring about him like he did me." I said to her." Touya you don't really mean that do you? I understand you don't like your parents but your little brother Shoto has nothing to do with them." (Y/n) said to me. She turned to fuyumi." Can I ran to him?" She asked and she nodded. We talked away to a different area." Touya, I understand your resentment to your parents but please don't take it out on your siblings one day you won't have them." She said to me." You don't understand (y/n) it's not fuyumi or natsuo it's Shoto."
" Touya you know why my father isn't in my life." This was out of no where but I shook my head." When I got my quirk my father wanted to do the same as your father and my mom wasn't having it and left. But with out my younger brother." She said to me. I was surprised no wonder why her mother is so assertive with my father." Okay I'll make sure Shoto is okay." She smiled a little.
Your POV
" did you want me to come with you?" I asked him and he nodded a little. I was walking with him and his sister back to the house. She opened the door and I saw Enji glare over." I'm not here for you. I'm just making sure my bother is okay." He said to him." Do what you want." This will be the first time I speak to shoto I've seen him when I was playing with Touya.
Touya opened the door and I saw a him. He glared up to me and Touya." What are you hear to gloat about-" I cut the angry child off." Your Shoto right. My name is (y/n). You've seen me around I'm pretty sure." I said to him with a smile." Yeah." He said I saw the bandage on his face." I heard you got banged up pretty bad huh." I said collecting water from the moisture in the room. I reached out to him a little but he backed up a little and tried to talk." Shut up perfect she's trying to heal you." Touya said to him. I placed my hand near the burn." It won't heal it all the way since I'm still new on it but it will take away pain." He looked up to me. I saw a lot of Touya in him.
I whispered to him." He cares about you. He just doesn't want to adamant it." I said with a smile. Then his eyes filled with wonder." I hope you feel better." I smiled to him. Getting up.
Touya pov
That look is that the same one I had? She walked past me I told her to met me in the yard. I turned back in to the room." Don't get any bright ideas." I glared at him." And you better be okay." I said closing the door. That was my first conversation with him.
When it was time for me and (y/n) to graduate I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend. We've been trough everything together. Why wouldn't she say yes and when I asked her she did say yes. With her normally big smile. She and I got an apartment together not to long later. Since we were both heros we could afford it. My sister would come over a lot to talk about mom and Shoto.
One day when I was helping (y/n) cook dinner I heard a knock on my door." I'll get it." I said to her walking over. When I opened the door I saw Shoto." What are you doing here." I said. Personally I still didn't like him but (y/n) keeps telling me to try to make a connection. Soon (y/n) came out." Oh hey Shoto." She smiled to him. He nodded to her." I saw you on the sports festival! That fight with that midoriya kid almost got out of hand Huh." She said to him I rolled my eyes and went back to the kitchen. Shoto came in after me." What do you want." I said to him." How did you know you were in love with (y/n)." He said weirdly. I almost laughed." Your coming to me for this. Why not fuyumi or natsuo." I said to him. He looked up to me with a really look." I've know (y/n) most of my life. She saw me at my low and helped me to my best. It wasn't until later I knew I love her." I said to him." And what if-" I cut him off." It's that Midoriya boy huh. Look I don't care as long as you don't shove it down my thought that you like guys. If he makes you a better person he makes you a better person." I said to him." Thank you." He said to me with a bow." Don't do that. You staying for dinner or what." I asked him." I should get back home." He said to me." Yeah whatever." I said back.
(Y/n) soon came in." That's the longest I've seen you speak to him." She said to me with a smile." Yeah I know come on food done." I said getting plates down for us." Touya." I looked over to her." I love you." I laughed a little." I love you too."
