Quick little thing, everything in this chapter and in future chapters (and in past chapters) does NOT happen in the actual series! I've made up every character except for the ones you recognize! This little demon boi I've created, isn't in the series! Just wanted to let you know! Okay, back to le story :3
Your POV
I stood and watched the two go at it for a couple minutes. Both sides continued to block each other's attacks. Neither one making any progress.
The demon sighed.
"Alright, I'm getting bored." He said while yawning.
Giyu didn't stop, he used waterwheel, and flowing dance, but the demon dodged them all.
"Giyu! Stop! He's toying with you!" I yelled.
He didn't listen and continued to attack.
"Blood demon art..." the demon said gently.
I watched as a thousand glass shards made their way towards Giyu. My body acted on its own and ran as fast as possible to get to him.
Giyu just stood there calmly and watched as the shards came at him.
Please move!
The shards all shattered just before they hit him, and I stood there in confusion.
I mentally slapped myself.
Right right...eleventh water breathing form.
"That was quite impressive, nobody has ever done that!" The demon put a hand on his chest and looked at us proudly. "My name is Kagayaku, and I am a part of the Twelve Kizuki!" He said and dramatically posed while putting a hand to his eye.
"Upper moon 4." He smiled.
"Upper moon or not, my job is still the same." Giyu said and began to attack him again.
Kagayaku laughed excitedly.
"I won't play around anymore then, water pillar."
I need to help...
I also began to charge towards the demon.
"Oh! Little (y/n) decided to join in too? Hmm...two against one, seems a little unfair doesn't it?"
"Shut up."
I threw punches and kicks towards Kagayaku, but he continuously dodged them all.
"Good try! But you're not fast enough!"
Kagayaku grabbed me by the waist and spun me around.
"Haha, you're so cute (y/n)! Like a tiny child trying to act like a grown up!"
"Put her down." Giyu said annoyed.
I began to grow more annoyed myself. Being treated like a child was really getting on my nerves. My finger nails grew sharper and I scratched at Kagayaku's face to try and get him to release me.
My nails grazed his left eye ever so slightly, but ended up wounding his eye anyways. Kagayaku threw me to the ground and wiped blood from his left eye.
His mouth dropped and his smile was no more.
"You little brat. How dare you lay a hand upon my face." He growled. Kagayaku's appearance began to change. His tall, slim figure slowly turned bigger and more bulky. His pretty face nothing more than a shadow now.
The once sparkling demon turned into a huge and hideous shadow creature.
"(Y/n), look out!" I heard Giyu yell from behind me.
I turn my head back towards the shadow demon and I could feel it's bright red eyes stare into my soul.
Without me noticing, Giyu picked me up and helped dodge an attack I couldn't even see.
"Ah? Sorry..." I apologized.
"It's fine, just try to keep a ear head okay?" He said still focused on Kagayaku's movements.
Right, I should try to use my blood demon art...
"Giyu, should I use my-"
"Not yet, since he's in shadow form he'll probably just absorb all of your light. Using blood demon art takes energy, especially since you don't eat or sleep much you'll get tired. Save your energy."
He's got a point...but...how else can I help without getting in the way?
I just nodded my head as he put me down and got into a fighting stance once again.
"How are we supposed to take this thing?" I asked.
"I'm...not sure."
Kagayaku turned his attention towards us and held his hand out. Long, black vines with thorns draped down from his finger tips.
He began to wave them around.
"Giyu we need to move!"
He nodded and began to move around Kagayaku. I did the same and it was working, we were confusing him.
Kagayaku let out a deafening shrill that caused a shiver down my spine. I covered my ears in response as he threw his vines towards me.
I jumped out of the way at the last second.
That was close!!
I landed somewhat gracefully and tried to plan out my next attack.
Giyu POV
What attack do I need to use?
. . .
Flowing dance would help get rid of the vines and then after that I could use the seventh form: piercing raindrop to propell me up towards his neck. Finally end him with water surface slash.
Now that I had a plan, I needed to act on it. I watched as (y/n) dodged Kagayaku's attacks and tried to counter them on her own.
I need to move quick...wait for an opening...now!
I leap into the air heading straight for his vines.
"Total concentration breathing, third form: flowing dance." I muttered to myself as I let in a deep breath of air. Feeling my lungs expand and myself tighten up, I let out the attack, and it hit.
Weaving myself through his vines I cut them all off.
"Piercing raindrop." I said as I use the shadow demons hand has a step to sling shot myself forward towards his neck.
Quick, switch attacks.
"First form: Water surface slash." I took another deep breath and switched my blade around so it was horizontal.
Faster.
I feel everything in my body pulse as I move myself at a faster rate. I slashed my blade right through the shadow demons neck. Only, nothing happened.
My mouth fell as I stared in astonishment and confusion.
My blade...I saw it go right through but he isn't showing any signs of dying...let alone pain...
I was so lost in thought, I didn't even see his other hand coming right at me.
His dark fist came into contact with my body, sending me flying down to the ground.
Shit, I got distracted!
"Eighth form: Waterfall basin." Luckily I preformed the skill before I hit the ground, lessening the blow.
That didn't change the fact my body screamed in pain from his hit.
I didn't even notice (y/n) had run up to me.
"Are you okay!?" She asks worried. I nodded my head.
"That thing took a direct hit...my blade...it clearly went through but..." I trail.
"Giyu, it's okay, we can figure this out..."
Kagayaku lets out another scream that caused my ears to ring. His vines grew out of the tips of his fingers again and he swung them right at us.
"Giyu, try to just hit him anywhere, we'll find where we can hurt him!" (Y/n) yelled charging towards the shadow demon.
I nodded my head.
Let's do this then...together.

Short chapter I know, but I'm gonna upload mOrE. *flash back to when I said I'd update four chapters in one day*
Oh...this? Uhm...you see....I am not from this world....and uh...where I'm from, one day is uh...one week in your time so I was going off that! *sweating intensifies*
Uhm so yeah. Plan to have another chapter in your time (today) ((within 24 hours)) and maybe a couple more.
So uh...stay hydrated my homies.
