The Yule ball

Y/N'S POV
I am currently looking for a dress in my closet. The ball is tonight and i need to be prepared. As i was looking Ann busts into the dorm,close to crying.
"Oh god!Ann what happend?" i say as i drop a few cloths on the floor and go to comfort her
"Well uh I was in the common room with Pansy a-and Draco came in and was like 'do you two have any dates?' and we said no then he asked Pansy to go with him while I just stood there! I said i needed to go to the loo and i got away"
"And what did Pansy say?"
"She said no"
"I cant belive he just asked Pansy! Anyone can see that you two have a thing for each other! I swear to god I will kill that man whore!"
"I thought so too. Turns out he doesn't. But i dont need him i can just go without a date"
"Thats the positivity we need!" i said as i pulled her into a hug and wiped her tears "You do not need him! Now let's get ready! Look for a dress!"
We both went to our own closets and i found such a good dress!

"Ann?" i called
"Yeah?" she said not looking at me
"What do you think?" i pulled out the dress from my closet and showed her
she gasped "I love that one! You should 100% wear that! Your date will love it! Also who is your date?"
"Well its-"
Meanwhile in the Gryffindor Boys dormitories
3rd person POV
Ron is getting dressed in front of a mirror. He looks panicked and uncomfortable in his ridiculous dress robes. "Bloody hell."
Harry walks in, he's dressed in a,normal suit
"What are those??"
"My dress robes?"
"Well they're alright. No lace, no dodgy little collar."
"Well I expect yours are more traditional."
"Traditional?? They're ancient! I look
like my great aunt Tessie." He sniffs at his clothes. "I smell like my great aunt Tessie. Murder
me Harry."

"Poor kids, bet they're alone in their rooms crying their eyes out."
"Who?"
"Hermione and Y/n of course. Come on Harry, why do you think they wouldn't tell us who they are coming with?"
"Because we'd take the mickey out of them if they did"
"Because nobody asked them. I would have taken Hermione myself if she weren't so bleeding proud." Ron said as they approach the Patil twins.
"Hello boys. Don't you look..." said Parvati. She looks at Ron. "... dashing."
"Here you are Potter. Are you and Miss Patil ready? Also have you seen L/n and her date?" said McGonagall approaching them
"Ready professor? Also no I haven't seen her"
"To dance. It's traditional that the three champions or in this case five are the first to dance. Surely I told you that."
"No."
"Oh well now you know. Oh, as for your Mr Weasly you may proceed into the great hall with Miss Patil."
As they were waiting for Y/n and her date they heard whispers and Hermione came down the stairs. She was wearing a beautiful pink long dress and her usually bushy hair was made sleek and twisted up into an elegant knot at the back of her head.
"She looks beautiful." said Parvati looking at Hermione
"Yeah she does." said Harry not even looking at Hermione but at Cho and Cedric
Hermione walks down the stairs. Viktor Krum takes her hand and
they walk together.
Then Ann comes down the stairs wearing a beautiful blue dress,her hair being down and light makeup. She pulls up her dress a bit as she is walking so she doesn't slip

She goes over to Blaise who takes her hand and they walk toghther in the hall.
Then its Y/n's turn. She got out from behind a piller and started walking down. A few people were looking at her as she was making her way towards the hall. Parvati taps Harrys shoulder and he looks at her. When she arrived her date comes by her side,takes her hand and they walk to where the rest of the champions were.
Harrys eyes widen at the sudden realization and remembers that day in the great hall when Ron tried to ask Hermione to the ball 'Oh me?I have a date' and it all made sense now.
She hugged Fleur,Cho and Parvati and greeted the rest
"Hello harry" Y/n's date said
"Hi"
"I hope you don't mind that I took her to the ball do you?" he asked
"Of course not,George"
Then Mcgonagall came over to them and told them what they will be doing. Fleur and her date were at the front,Y/n and George behind them,then Cedric and Cho,and Harry and Parvati at the end and they all walked inside.
"Is that Hermione Granger? With Viktor Krum? And isn't that your brother with Y/n?" Padama said to Ron
"No. Absolutely not." said Ron "Wait my brother?" he looked again "Oh that's George. Harry probably didn't like that" Ron muttered the last part
"What?"
"Noting"
Loud music plays as the champions head to the dancefloor with
their partners.
Y/n and George started dancing gracefully and somehow talking over the loud music while Harry and Parvati have a hard time dancing because Harry couldn't dance. Y/n and George passed them and George said sarcastically "You should teach me how to dance sometime Harry" and Y/n silently laughed. They danced. Soon others are joining in, Dumbledore and McGonagall,
Mr Filch and his cat, Hagrid and Madame Maxime. Mad-Eye sits on the sidelines drinking. The scene changes, the music is now rock played by the Weird Sisters fronted by Jarvis Cocker from Pulp. Cool!. The crowd is jumping. Harry, Ron and their dates are sitting some distance away looking miserable. Hermione and Y/n come up to them after a great time with their dates. Viktor going to get drinks for him and Hermione and George going to check up on Fred and Lee.
"Hot isn't it? Viktor's gone to get drinks. Care to join us?"
"No, we'd NOT care to join you and Viktor." said Ron
"What's got your wand in a knot?"
"He's a Durmstrang. You're fraternising with the enemy!"
"The enemy?? Who was it wanting his autograph? Besides, the whole point of the tournament is international magical cooperation, to make friends."
"Hrmph, I think he's got a bit more than friendship on his mind."
Hermione just walks away
"Are you going to ask me to dance or not?" asks Padama
"No"
"What has gotten into you two tonight?!" asks Y/n furstrated at this point at the two
Harry stays silent and Ron opens his mouth to say something but George gets there
"Y/n do you want a drink? Im going to get one"
"Yeah im coming with you" she said walking away with George
"what happend with them?"
"Just Ron beeing a pain in the ass"
"Your mom wouldnt like you talking like that you know?"
"What she doesnt know wont hurt her. Do you wana dance?"
"Yeah sure lets go"

Y/n was walking towards the exit of the hall. She just talked a bit with Neville and Ginny and was going to leave (George left some time before her) when she saw her ginger best friend fighting with Hermione. Again. She walked up to them but they didn't notice her and she decided to stay silent for now at least
"How dare you! Besides I can take care of myself!'
"Doubt it. He's way too old."
"What? What? That's what you think?"
"Yeah that is what I think!''
"You know the solution then don't you."
"Go on."
"Next time there's a ball pluck up the courage and ask me before somebody else does, and not as a last resort!" said Hermione,now with tears in her eyes
"Well that's completely off the point. Harry..." Harry walks up.
"Where have you been? Nevermind! Off tto bed both of you!'
Harry and Ron walk away. "They get scary when they get older." said Ron while him and Harry were making their way up the stairs
"Ron you spoiled everything! " Herrmione screamed at him making off her heeals. For a second Y/n thought she was gonna throw them at the ginger but insted she just sat down on the stairs and started crying. Y/n hurried over to her and pulled her into her arms and tried to comfort her
"Were you here all this time?"
"Yeah..Rons such a git" said Y/n stroking the girls hair "It will be alright. I have an idea! "
"What is it?" said Hermione wiping her tears
"We can go to kitchens get some food then I can sneak into the gryffindor common room and we can have a little girls night you know"
"Great ideea!"
"Also do you mind if I ask Ann to come as well? She wasnt in the best mood today"
"Yeah shes cool" Hermione smiled at her friend as she went to call the Slytherin to get the food

"This is awesome!" said Ann drinking a glass of butterbeer "I didnt know the house elfs can make that!"
"Me either!" said Hermione
"Im glad I came up with this idea! Also these heels are bloody killing me" said Y/n taking her shoes off
"I know right" agreed Ann rolling her eyes
"considering that we have finished our food lets go running in the halls!"
"Y/n/n are you crazy?" said Hermione widening her eyes
"No thats a good ideea"
The Slytherin girls looked at their gryffindor friend with smiles on their faces untill she agreed
"Fine lets go" the two girls smiled widely "But i need to go get you some other shoes because you are not running in heels be right back" said Hermione going up to her dorm and coming back with 2 pairs on shoes for her friends. They out them on and rush out of the portrait
"Together?" asked Y/n
"Together." her friends confirmed. They held hands and started running around the Hogwarts corridors. In their Yule Ball gowns,their hair slightly messy and makeup not so neat but they didnt care becouse they had each other

this is a harry x y/n so I need
to add more moments with
them but in the end i like how it turned out.
Fun fact,I had Y/n calling
draco a man whore since
I made my plan for 4th year which was when i started this story and i had to include that
