6 years later
Emi's POV:
Asta, Yuno, and I are currently fifteen years old. I'm helping Sister Lily with the laundry. Until some person came screaming into Sister Lily's face. I sweatdropped. 'Not this again' Sister Lily rejected Asta again which led to him sulking in a corner.
I began again to help Sister Lily with the laundry until someone grabbed my hand. It was Asta. "Do you need something, Asta?" I asked. "Will you marry me, Emi?!" I blushed at his statement. I was going to slap him until the wind blew him away.
"Didn't I already told you? Emi is mine, Asta." I screeched at his statement. 'I'm his? Since when?!' Asta got up and said "I won't give up on you, Emi! You will be mine someday!" I blushed harder. "I'm g-going to do something real quick!" I ran back to the church.
I was breathing heavily. 'Phew..That was close..' I turned around and started to walk back outside until I tripped and closed my eyes and fell on something or someone..I slowly opened my eyes to see me on top of Yuno. I screamed and slapped him in the face. I widened my eyes and realize what I just did. I immediately started to apologize to him. Even though he said it was fine I still kept on apologizing, until he kissed my forehead. I froze. 'Did he just kiss my forehead?' He chuckled. "I'm going back to help Sister Lily with the clothes." I slowly nodded my head in acknowledgment.
I tried to process what he just did. It took me two minutes to acknowledge what he did. I blushed madly. 'Why did he do that?!' I tried to think of what possible scenarios but nothing would match it. I ignored it and went back outside to help.
"Emi and Yuno are the ones going to save this church!" Father said. I chuckled. "In a few more days we're going to get or grimoires! I'm so excited!" I smiled. I turned around to Asta. "Don't worry, Asta! I believe that you're going to get a grimoire! And you become strong too! You have my word!" I smiled.
Asta suddenly hugged me. "Thank you, Emi! For believing in me!" I chuckled. "It's no problem, really! A lot of the stuff I say always comes true!" "Your right! I'll have your word on it!" I smiled as he let go of me. Yuno growled. "Whatever.." He mumbled.

The Next Day
Emi's POV:
We are currently getting ready to go to the grimoire tower. (Something like that) We're walking inside the tower. 'Dang..It's full of books!' Everybody was whispering about us, mostly Asta.
'I heard that small kid can't even use magic'
That dark hair girl looks pretty cute, don't you think?'
'She looks like a royal'
I ignored their comments about me. I'm just worried about Asta. I don't like it when people talk bad about him, it makes me angry. "Just ignore them, Emi" I nodded my head. 'I'm sorry, Asta'
"Ladies and gentlemen! You all begin your new journey today! The old man said. "I wish you all faith, hope, and love."
The grimoires began to fly everywhere. It amazed me how many there were. I saw a bright golden light shining, I look to see who the grimoire was. It was Yuno's! He got a four-leaf clover!
"I will become the Wizard King." Everyone cheered for him. Then suddenly a yellow/purplish grimoire came to me. It was bright. I held on to my grimoire. 'It's a four-leaf clover as well?!' I was astonished.
"Congrats on getting a four-leaf clover," Yuno said.
"Uhh..Where's my Grimoire?" Asta said. I frowned. 'I thought my prediction was correct. I'm rarely ever wrong.' "Try again next year?" The old man said.
Everybody was laughing at him. I growled. I couldn't do anything because Yuno said not to. "Just you wait Yuno, you're my rival!" then he left.
Yuno and I started to walk out of the grimoire tower. Unexpectedly chains started to wrap around us. "Hey! What the heck is going on here!" I yelled. "Who are you?" Yuno asked.
"I am Revchi, a chain magic-user, and was once a magic knight." He said. "No! My grimoire! Give it back!"
"Not a chance.." He looked at me and continued. "Say..you look quite stunning. I can sell you for a lot of money." As he crested my cheek. "You guys have pretty jewelry, I can sell them for a lot too."
I began to cry. "You wouldn't dare!" He looked at me. "Oh, I would. I can sell you for millions!" I made a frightened face. "Don't you dare do anything to her!" Yuno yelled.
"HEY! GIVE EMI AND YUNO'S GRIMOIRES BACK! THEY DON'T BELONG TO YOU!"
'Asta? He really came back?!' I was so happy. Asta looked at me and looked back at Revchi. "YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR MAKING EMI CRY!" He ran towards him and Asta got knocked into a wall.
"You beat me? Impossible! You don't even have magic!"
"ASTA!" Tears escaped my eyes. 'He's going to get himself killed if this keeps up'
"Asta isn't a loser, he's my rival," Yuno said.
"Sorry for making you guys think I'm pathetic, just a second, I'll kick this guy." As he said that and the black and red light started to glow on a grimoire.
"It's..a..grimoire!" Asta cheered as he pulled a sword out of his grimoire. 'I'm so happy for you, Asta!'
