>24 Weeks Pregnant<
Nico's POV:
"Neeks, you need to get up. I don't want to wake you baby. I'm so sorry. Rise and shine. I'll give you all the kisses in the world if you get up now." Will whispered in my ear "Please get up darlin'. For me."
"Stop. Don't say anything else. I can't blush this early because of your southern accent." I said
"Sorry Neeks. We need to get up though. Today is the baby shower. I want it to be a surprise so I asked Mom and Sally to take you out for a bit. I know you'll like the theme." Will said
Why couldn't he just let me sleep? Our babies like kicking me in the middle of the night when I'm sleeping and trying to be calm. They keep me up most nights now.
"Can't I sleep? I won't know anything about today. I'll make sure. Then, the babies can get the vital rest they need." I said innocently
"I'm not giving in. Be ready in a bit. I'll make breakfast for us." Will said
"Okay." I said
I woke up a little more at the mention of food. That happened every time. Will was already dressed and I put on my blue shirt, black waist extender, and black sweatpants. I'm not going for nice. Just comfortable.
"What did you make for breakfast?" I asked
"This." Will said handing me a plate
He made this southern style breakfast. Waffles with fruit. It was my favorite. He always handmade the waffles and cut the fruit. It made me happy. I kissed him setting my plate down.
"How are they doing?" Will asked
"Definitely getting bigger. They kick like nothing else." I said
"I'm sorry baby. It must be hard." Will said
He set his hands on either side of my bump getting a kick from one of the babies. Will kissed my neck and I put my hand on his.
"The kicks mean they are alive. I don't mind unless I'm trying to do something like sleep or work on something I need/want to do." I said
Will kissed me on the lips and we sat down to breakfast. Will ate with me and occasionally kissed me. I washed my hands and answered the door. Sally and Mom were there talking excitedly about the babies.
Both hugged me and kissed my cheeks. I smiled and let them put their hands on my bump. Will came up behind me and I let out a startled gasp. I laughed and he spun me around so I was facing him.
"I need you to drink some sort of Vitamin C. When I touched you I could feel the lack of nutrients." Will said
I nodded and he gave me some Sunny D. He poured me some and put something in it. I took it and he told me to drink it all. I did and he was satisfied.
"You were thirsty too." Will said
Both of us blushed and looked away from each other. Sally and Mom took me to Sally's house. They had an entire half hour planned where we were talking. How did they have time for this kind of stuff?

"Okay. Sit here. Everyone get your gifts ready. They are going to open gifts for the babies. Take a seat." Leo said
I sat down and Will sat next to me running his fingers on the side of my bump. I was given a gift by Calypso. It was wrapped beautifully. Leo probably didn't wrap it.
"They are hook on high chairs. It will be easy for you to put them on the table and they hook on. It will be good for feeding time when they are a little older and maybe even when they are younger so you can both eat together." Calypso said
"It's a good idea. I like them." I said "Will, it shouldn't just be me unwrapping them. Why don't you unwrap the next one."
"Okay." Will said
"They're boppy pillows. They are good for feeding the babies all at once and keeping them on schedule. Also for tummy time." Annabeth said
"Thank you so much! I can feed them at the same time while watching them. So the feeding schedule isn't messed up." I said
Will put his hands on the side of my bump. He must have woken the babies up because I received a hard jab to the side. I accidentally kicked Piper who was sitting across from me.
"I'm so sorry. They kicked me and I got startled." I apologized
"Nico! It's okay. You can stop saying your sorry. I know it was an accident." Piper said "Now I have a valid reason to give my gift."
"So those are for burping them and there is still more. I just figured those would be best to give first." Piper said
"Okay." I said
I let Will open the other gift. We got some cute blankets to swaddle them in, a noise maker to put them to sleep, and some diapers from Piper and Jason. They were newborn diapers.
"Mine next." Sally said
I nodded and she gave me hers. She got me a some diapers. A small stretchy shirt that she said would 'go with what I like perfectly and it was breathable so the babies could still feel close to me'.
"Thank you so much." Will said and I nodded in agreement
"Okay. I want to go next." Hazel said
She brought out a huge gift. I took it and I opened it. It was a big elephant that we could put them on. I stroked it's soft fur and Will opened up the littler gift. It was a soft plushie for our baby girl. I held it and hugged Hazel and quietly congratulated her on the news.
She had called me a few weeks ago and told me she was expecting and she didn't even know. She was happy and had even shadow traveled into our room hugging me tightly. She made us swear we wouldn't tell until she told everyone.
"Okay. Mine." Mom said
I gave it to Will, but she stopped us saying we had to open it together. Inside were special blankets just like Will had. I noticed each of their names were stitched on.
"It's beautiful." I said
"I made them with hypoallergenic material just in case they have sensitive skin. There is still a package underneath." Mom said
I opened up the package underneath and my name was stitched on a blanket too. I teared up and Will kissed me lightly.
"Neeks, you're part of the family too. We can all have blankets and they will never fight over them." Will said
"Thank you so much." I said to everyone
"Shouldn't I be able to give a gift too?" Arielle asked
"You bought a gift?" Annabeth asked
"Of course. I'm not teen broke yet Mom." Arielle said "Even though I am a teen."
She handed me two neatly wrapped packages. She sat next to Estelle. Both had their names on the card. I opened the gift and a diaper clutch was in it. There were two.
Underneath was a thing for our car seats. It was for them to look at themselves, but I could use it to check on them when sitting in the front seat.
"I didn't know if you would want to sit in the front or not." Estelle said
"Thank you both so much. I'm going to sit in the back and they will sit in front of me. At least for the first two months maybe even three. So I can calm them or do anything. Will may even sit back there if I need to drive. Will and I talked about getting these. Thank you." I said

I hugged everyone even Percy and Jason. That was after a moment's hesitation. I didn't want this to turn into a bromance thing.
We all talked for a bit and I sat on the couch inside with everyone. I sat next to Will and he quietly ran his fingers up and down my back.
"Do you think I'll ever stop growing? Like I keep getting bigger and bigger. Will it ever stop?" I asked
"Of course it will! Once you have the babies. They will continue to grow outside of you too. Don't worry. We know what that feels like. You shouldn't worry though. Even Will can tell you that." Sally said
Will nodded in agreement telling me I would stop growing and I was nourishing them and helping them grow. It was good. All for the babies. I nodded and put my mind at ease.
This was all normal. I would have the babies soon and I wouldn't get any bigger. Will wrapped his arms around me kissing the side of my head. This is perfect. I'll be ready. I have my friends by my side. I'll be fine. Labor can't be that hard. Right?
