I look in the mirror at my outfit and pull my bottoms up a little so that my butt can sit higher . I brush out my blonde wig and look in the mirror satisfied with the way I laid it down .
I reach into my purse , grab my peppermint lipgloss and smear it onto my lips , remembering how much Von used to love it when I put it on .
Today Durk told me that we're going to the movies and von and his little entourage are coming to .
At first I was a little skeptical since things went way to far at the pool party with Noonie yesterday and I don't want that to happen again .
It started off funny to see how angry Von got when Noonie started flirting with me but then Noonie started doing to much as if I really liked him and when Von snapped I almost broke down again .
The way he grabbed me and threatened me made me melt on the inside, but I stayed solid since I felt so much anger at the fact that he gave Asian the chain that I designed and pulled strings to buy for him . Which obviously meant nothing to him
Honestly , the only reason I'm going today is because deep down I really think Von and i need to talk . But we're to busy going at each other's neck all the time that we never get a chance .
The reality is I'm still not over him , and probably won't be until we have the conversation we need to . Yesterday , he tried to have it and he almost called me his baby even though he didn't finish his sentence . If he would've finished I don't know what I would've done , or how I would've felt .
I don't know if I would call him my baby back , or sit back down and entertain Noonie . All I know is that if I could go back to yesterday , I would beg him to say those words and make my body warm up like only he knows he can do .
It's like I can't get enough of him . Rather he's rude or nice, or cussing me out or kissing me . Yanking me out my seat or hugging me . I don't care as long as Von is associating himself with me in some way . He's like my drug I need more and more of him each time .
I finish up in the bathroom and walk downstairs waiting for Durk and india to finish getting ready , while letting Von roam through my head the entire time .
Before we got together the first time I was a little petty towards him , but never this bad .
Thinking back on all the things I've said and done since we've been on this trip is really making me cringe on how childish and immature I've been acting . I think today I will take a more mature route no matter how he's acting just to prove to myself that I can really be over him and to him and Asian that the mature one always wins .
Plus I don't have energy to be trying to act petty with Noonie today . He's not ugly but I hate niggas who act like him . I honestly don't even know what I was doing . I'm kind of disappointed in myself for even entertaining him or letting him give me a hug . So desperate, degrading , and out of character . I've completely lost myself on this trip , even more than I did before . I'm exhausted !
"Kennedy ! " Durk yells out snapping me out of my thoughts .
"Huh" I say dryly and look up to see him and india fully dressed standing in front of me .
"You okay ? " india asks and I nod
"You ready to go ? " Durk asks looking a little concerned . I nod again and get up then walk behind them to durks car . I wonder how long they've been standing there .
We get in the car and india starts telling us about how she was practically forced into talking to asain yesterday for some reason and how much she hated it .
I wanted to laugh and be apart of the conversation but for some reason my energy is drained . I don't know if it was staying up late thinking about Von or getting up early thinking about von but all I can think about is him and only him . Not my boyfriend in Chicago , not my short term goals , not enjoying my vacation ... just Von .
Maybe being around him this much again isn't good for my healing . Maybe this is making it worst , because honestly it feels like since I've been in LA my body is fiending for him . Like it knows he's near or it knows I'm talking to him and it makes me feel weak when I'm not around him like I do in Chicago .
After today I think I'm going to spend the trip with willow and my mother just staying at home. I just can't take being around Von and us not being together . It's hurting me even more than before I came here .
"Then she slow as fuck I asked her to pass me the cheez itz and this hoe grabbed trail mix talking bout she heard me wrong . Hoe cheese and trail don't even fucking rhyme " india rants and I chuckle a little . As hard as I can .
"India calm down " Durk laughs pulling up to a large building I can only assume is the movie theater since it says amc on the outside of it .
"I can't do it today Durk Forreal you gone have to come up with sumn else " she shakes her head and Durk does the same . He parks and I get out the car then feel a smack on my butt .
"Period Kennedy !" She boost and I smile at her "who you looking cute for ?" She smirks
"She need to cover the fuck up " Durk mugs me as we walk towards the building .

"Nothing I'm fine " I nod and smile at him . He looks at me weirdly and stops walking .
"Why you smiling and shit like a weirdo ?" He asks looking at me weirdly and I laugh at him .

We walk in the theater and Von and his peoples are already standing in the front with tickets in their hands . Von and asain have on matching outfits and their arms are wrapped around each other while they stand up tall .
"Durkiooooo!" Von yells out seeming to be in a better mood than he's been in since I've been around . Must be cause him and his girl are matching and happy . Cute .
"Von ! " Durk yells out and they give each other a hug . They act like it's their first time seeing each other everytime they meet up . I wish someone greeted me like that .
"wassup india " Von says completely ignoring me once again .
"Hey Von " I speak first . He seems shocked at first but then ignores me and turns back to durk
"Hey Kennedy " Noonie blurts out and I nod at him a little . Trying to give him the hint that I don't want to talk . Definitely not starting that up again . And I think Von noticed .
"hey Asian " I say and she doesn't hide her shocked face .
"Hey " she says awkwardly
India and Durk are looking at me weirdly and I just smile . "I like yall outfits it's cute where did you get em ?"
"What the hell ?" Durk mumbles
"I'm saying " juju responds
"Oh we got them made personally" she smirks and pulls on his shirt . I don't know if she was trying to be petty but I don't even care .
"There nice " I smile . Von side eyes me with a frown then shakes his head .
"Anyways I got yall tickets already folks "Von tells him giving india and Durk their tickets . "I ain't know you was bringing a plus one so I didn't get an extra " he mugs me and Durk palms his face . So Von wants to start this early ? I'm not even going to engage in it .
"Nigga we told you she was coming " india mugs him
" I forgot " he says dryly
"It's fine " I smile and Von looks at me weirdly again . I don't know if he expects me to bust out into an argument but I'm just in a different headspace . Plus taking the high road is like a breath of fresh air . Don't nobody want to be arguing all day . "I'll meet y'all in the theater after I buy the ticket" I tell them
"Nah sis I got you " Durk tells me .
" I'll get her one "Noonie chimes in and Durk puts on the most disgusted face I've ever seen .
"Did she asks for you to get her one ?" He asks him and Noonie snaps his head at him .
"I'll get my own " I chuckle a little trying to diffuse the situation. Durk and Noonie stand there mugging each other until bugg pulls him away from the crowd and towards the theaters .
"He's a bitch " Durk mumbles then shakes his head and walks off with juju and cisco behind him .
"I'll wait out here with you while you get your ticket "india says and I shake my head
"No your fine go calm Durk down I'll be in there " I assure her
"You sure ?" She asks
"Yeah " I nod . She gives me a small smile then runs off to catch up to Durk.
"Excuse me " I say politely to Asian and Von who are just standing in front of the ticket line staring at me .
"Why are you acting like that ? " asain questions with an attitude
"Like what ? " I ask her
"Like you just some sweet bitch , you been on hot shit ever since you been out here where that energy at ? " she snaps and I just shake my head and laugh a little
"You got it " I shrug "I'm not really in the mood for it today "
"Tuh you was in the mood for it yesterday when you tried to fuck Noonie " she says trying to argue again . I look at Von and he's just staring at me with a blank face not even trying to control his German Shepard . I guess he's waiting for a response that he's not going to get .
"That was yesterday " I shrug "now excuse me " I say again a little more sternly . She rolls her eyes and steps off to the side .
I walk past them to the booth and suddenly feel And gentle hand touch my arm . I turn around and see Von grabbing me .
"Here " he says and holds out a ticket
"It's okay keep yours I'm getting one " I tell him
"I got you one already " he says and I can tell by his face he's serious I smile a little and take the ticket out of his hand .
"Thank you " I grin and he nods . I guess my positive route worked . Got a whole movie ticket out of it . We're off to a good start !!
I thank him again then smile and walk off to the movie theater . As I make it further away from them I hear Asian yelling at him about me .
"You bought that hoe a ticket ?! Seriously Von !"
