Chapter 5: dinner

🐝I hope you all are feeling well, if any of you want to have a talk about something I free, probably🐝 apparently my family knows that I've been making books....... 😭😭 I'm going to dieeee

I was in a plain bedroom because I'm waiting for my other room to be ready, it's just got white walls and a double bed, a desk and a few other things, it was around 5:30 and I was getting ready for dinner, I've got a dressy shirt on, it's white and frilly with a necklace that's gold and has a red rock in the centre, I let my hair down and curled it if it's curly already Dont worry! Just say you straightened it, a maid walked into the room, I grabbed a book about flowers and hid it under my shirt

"Miss Y/n, dinners starting in 10 minutes" the maid said, she had black hair and blue eyes, she had a black Cloth covering, her tail her hair was up In a bun and had glasses on

"Ok, thank you" I said and she left, I got up from where I was sitting, swam over to the door and opened it, I was greeted by the same maid and she started  walking down the hallway and I followed

When Y/n made it to the dining room

I was in a long room with a 13 meter long table, no one was there yet, there where only 6 seats by the side of the table, I walked up to the side of the table and took the seat nearest to the end but not the end of the table that would be for the king or the queen or they would take the centre, so I was in a reasonable spot, I took out the book and opened it

2 minutes later and Nathaniels POV

I was at then entrance to the dining room and found Y/n in the seat where no one would take, and it was perfect as well, because mother and father like to change it up sometimes so they change between the ends of the table and the centre of it, I would usually sit in the spot Y/n is in but I will take the spot infront of her, I started swimming over to her

"Good afternoon Y/n" I said, she immediately put something in her shirt, I thought I it was cute that she was so startled

"Oh, thank goodness it's you" she said with pleased eyes

"It's a pleasure to see you again today" I said with a grin, she slightly giggled

"Your majesty" she said with a huge smile on her face, I chuckled, I swam above the table and got into the seat infront of Y/n

"So what did you put in your shirt so quickly?" I asked

"Oh, it's a book about flowers from the surface, I dont know how someone would get this book, it would be really hard to get and yet no one uses the library" she said, she showed me a tiny book that had a big purple hydrangea painted on the front with a white background

"Hello, Nathaniel, and hello Y/n" father said as he walked in with mother by his side

"Good afternoon your highnesses" Y/n said as she looked strait at the table trying to not make eye contact with anyone, she's gone though a lot of books

"Oh, you don't have to call us that dear, just call me Helena and call him Kenji, it's alright" mother said, the both decided to sit in the middle, so they where next to us, I was next to dad and Y/n was next to mom

"Ok, thank you" Y/n said, she looked tense, I tapped her tail with mine and she looked up and tilted her head, I did the ok symbol with my hand and she smiled

"So what will we have tonight?" I asked

"Lobster, salad, prawns and seaweed" dad said
(Not cannabis)

"So we going to have another cheap meal?" I asked nicely

"Yea, I thought it would be nice because we get to connect to our kingdom by what they eat" mom said, then waiters came out with a huge cloche and put it in in the middle of the four of us, then a waiter took the lid off, it revealed and 4 dead boiled lobsters in the centre with all their faces meeting together and it had lettuce, tomato's, cheeses cucumber, seaweed and cheese underneath them

Y/ns POV and when dinner was finished

"That was and amazing dinner, thank you so much for letting me have diner with you" I said while I got up from my seat

"No problem dear, we're like a family" Helena said

"Family- GOD I HAVE TO TELL MOM!" I yelled, I swam out of the room as fast as I could, I swam down the halls and out the front door, I started swimming to the direction of our house

Nathaniels POV

"She seriously left like that" dad said shocked

"She cares about family more then about herself, she would be good daughter" mom said with a smile

"Or a daughter-in-law" dad said winking at me

"I've already killed for her..." I said, mom and dad smiled

"That's how I got your dad, I killed everyone who stood in my way, so you will get her eventually, don't worry, if yah want I can give you the room in the mountains if yah want, there might be a few skeletons" mom said smiling

"Ok, that should be good" I said

Me scared of my family, dad found out that I got over 3k somehow and I think it's because of my brother
