"So, Y/n, How are you feeling about this?" Melissa said, we where in a sea horse carriage
"Uhh, I'm nervous, I don't know what to expect" I said, putting my hands on my lap
"Don't worry, you will be treated wonderful, they need to get used to you as well, so you will be bombarded with questions" Mellissa said
"Ok, so since prince Nathaniel is king now your my guard?" I asked
"Well since the king and the queen are dead I have no one to serve so I have chosen you to serve" she said while pulling out her sword
"Oh, ok" I said, Mellisa started sharpening her sword with a rock
"Where here" the person out the front said, Melissa opened the door of the carriage and got out and kept it open for me, I swam out and found that there where maids, chefs, butlers, guards and other people out the front from the door main doors on the steps, the fortress was a beautiful light green colour and it was ginormous, the garden out the front was covered head to toe in flowers of all different colours
"Lady Y/n!" The head maid said, swimming to me
"Hello" I said, she grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes, she had dark hazel eyes, grey hair, wrinkles, she looked like she was in her 60s
"You look just like your father" she said bowing, I lift her up from the lift
"No need to bow m'lady, I'm the one who should bow, thank you all for keeping the fortress in wonderful condition" I said bowing to everyone
"I'll show you everyone who is in command here" the head maid said
"Ok" I said and followed her
"This is qwenz, he is your head guard, he will take care of all the battles and will guard you in his free time" she said showing me and young man who had brown short/long in a tiny ponytail, his eyes where green as emeralds, green and yellow tail
"My lady" he said bowing his head
"Sir" I said doing the same, the head maid moved on
"This is the head chef, Addie, she will be making all you meals and planning food for the party's, balls and weddings maybe" she showed me a lady with long black hair and purple eyes, she was quite short she was a few years older then me, had black and orange tail
"Ma'am" she said shaking my hand
"Miss" I said shaking hers
"This is your Tailor, Elija, he will make your clothes, shoes and your makeup" the head maid said showing me a man who had bright pink hair, blue eyes and was quite tall, a bit older then me, had pink and red tail
"You look quite dazzling miss" he said kissing my hand
"Thank you, you look amazing aswell" I said
"And finally, me, I am Billy, your head maid, I will make sure all the maid are in order and will prepare what you do next" she said
"Well thank you, for showing me who the head people are" I said
"Now for a tour person..." I looked at the maids and butlers, and one caught my eyes, I walked over to them, she was beautiful, she had blond hair, green eyes and a light blue tail, she looked around a year younger then me she was 2 inches small then me
"Would you like to show me around the fortress?" I asked her
"Ok, but I've gotten a little lost in it before..." she said
"I'll come!" both Melissa and Qwenz said, they looked at each other
"I ship it!" I whispered to the maid beside me, she giggled
"You both come" I said, we walked to the front of the fortress doors
"My names Lapis by the way" she said and we walked through the big doors
"Nice to meet you Lapis" I said she giggled
"So where are we going first?" Melissa asked, we walked into a huge spacious swimway and then There was a big gold and dark wood door with tiny mermaids and shark folk on it, the floor had a nice red carpet and flowers on the side with paintings of the generations of the royals, once I saw the last picture the boys face was ripped out
"This, is the thrown room" lapis said, it was twice the size of Nathaniels and the once red carpet changed into a nice fluffy white carpet, there where three thrown's , all three of them where a beautiful gold with dark oak like roots all over the sides, there was a painting above the thrown's it was 4 people, a queen, with a giant glass crown and black hair that only reached her shoulders, a king who's crown was short and stubby with red gems and blooming red hair, and the there where what looked like twins, two boys with red hair and tiny little crowns made of gold
"Who are they?" I asked
"They are the first ones who ruled this kingdom, your related to them" qwenz said
"Huh... WAIT! Where's the library!?" I asked
"The library, we will go there now" lapis said, she turned and we followed
