She is a single mother of 'three' but the other sibling died at the age of 4, she is kind, straight to the point and a nice soul to be around
"What did you need?" I asked
"Well, if your going to be heading out today, I made you a little bag of food for you, it's got all of your favourites and some healthy fruit and vegetables and some raw meat" mom said
"Thank you, I'm planning on head out north east way this time, and if I see a shark person, give them the meat" I said nodding
"Good, and if it ever comes to it stab someone" mom said handing me a knife that was dark blue and cyan, I took it
"Thanks mom, but I have my own knifes" I said
"Well the knife I gave you was your fathers, before he passed away, and since Dylan doesn't go and explore like you, I thought it would be a good idea to give it to you" mom said, I walked over to the bag that had the food in it and picked it up, I put the knife into the bag and put the bag onto my shoulder
"Thank you, I love you, be safe" I said and swam out of the house
"Bye Y/n! Have fun!" Dylan yelled, and chucked me a coat to put on my tail, I put it on my tail because it's cold, I looked down at the compass in my hand and started to go north east, I swam past Corel and tiny fish
"If you guys want to follow me you can!, I need company" I said to the fish, fish can't talk to merfolk but some merfolk understand them, one fish followed me, it was a tiny little tropical fish that was yellow and orange
"What should I sing" I whispered to myself, then the fish done a twirl
"I am not singing under the sea" I said with a grin, I started to swim as fast as I could and heard a Russell in a bus next to me
"Hello?" I heard a voice
"Gah!, I'm sorry, was I interrupting you?" I said with a sad face and head to the ground
"Oh, no, I was wondering if you could hide me!" He said, I looked up and saw a a boy around my age with blue long hair and a coat covering his tail, he had his head to the ground
"Uhh, what did you do?" I asked he lifted his head up and looked into my eyes
"I-Uh-I I ran a-away from home" he said, I took ahold of his arm and pulled him behind some rocks and Corel, he was next to me
"That's all you needed to say" I said with a grin
"O-Uhm, thank you" he said with a tiny bit of blush on his face
"Well, nice to meet you!, my names Y/n l/n, what's yours?" I asked
"I'd prefer not to say my name" he said in a serious tone
"Ok!, so where are you from?" I asked
"Near the fortress" he said, he was shaking, I took of the coat that was covering my tail and put it on his back, he looked at my tail and saw the gold specs
"Are you a royal?" He asked while still looking at my tail
"Uh, no, I don't think so, I'm just some country mermaid who explores a lot!, your cool" I said
"Uh, thanks" he said
"Have you found him yet!?" A Guard from the fortress was walking with other guards
"No, not yet, silly prince" a guard said and walked away with the other guards
"Your the prince Nathaniel?" I asked
"Yea..." he said
"Nice, if yah need something just come the south west way from the fortress, I live near there, I've never had a friend that's a prince before, see yah soon!" I said and swam of leaving the coat with him
Nathaniels POV
As she swam away I could feel the heat for my check start to clam down
"Found him!" A guard said pointing at me
"Now what where you just doing?" My personal guard (Lillian) said
"I just met someone I want" I said in a calm matter
"What do you mean?" Lillian asked
"I just met the love of my life..." I said
"Who?" Lillian said taking off her helmet, her red hair flew out
"Y/n, Y/n L/n" I said
