"I swear she does this on purpose," Lilith huffs, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes.

Their dinner—steak and potatoes along with a side salad—had just arrived and despite Yugyeom and Jungkook's being cooked to a perfect medium well; hers was so bloody it was practically still mooing.

She'd told the cook what felt like a million times since she'd been there that she was not a vampire and didn't eat like one, but the old bat still continued to prepare her food like theirs.

"She's just old and hard of hearing," Mark chuckles, making her scoff.

"Then get another cook. She'd better be glad I ate already. You guys won't be around to save her always," she mutters, pushing the plate away.

"So...you're not gonna eat that?" JB asks, gesturing towards the plate.

"Hell no. It's so raw it's grazing on my salad," she exclaims, passing the plate down to him.

Hoseok and Seokjin were the first to laugh, the latter's high pitched laugh sounding like a windshield wiper. The silly laugh made her giggle despite being pissed at the cook.

"Good one," BamBam laughs, nudging her arm.

"You can have some of mine Noona," Yugyeom giggles, offering her a bite.

"I'm fine love. I ate already," she says, picking up her glass and taking a sip.

She notices Taehyung staring at her from across the table and sets her wine glass down.

"So, Taehyung, your power must be some sort of mental shield or mind control since you thought you'd be safe from my powers. I'm curious if you don't mind," she says, breaking him out of his trance.

"Oh, yeah. My power is compulsion. I'm usually safe from other vampires that have mind control abilities since I have them as well," he explains, making her nod.

"That's pretty cool. If it makes you feel better, there aren't many dark or siren witches left in the world, so I doubt you'll come across one that can do what I just did," she says, smirking once she watches him take a deep breath and give a small smile.

"So, Lilith, if you don't mind me asking, how do witches age? The same as humans or do you stop like vampires?" Namjoon asks curiously.

"Witches stop aging at 25. It's an important number in witchcraft. To us, the number 25 denotes intuition, self awareness, and wisdom. I actually just turned 25 so I stopped aging this year," she explains, making Bangtan look at her wide eyed.

"You're just 25 years old? Wow, you're just a baby," Yoongi comments, making her roll her eyes.

"Yes, I'm 25 but far from a baby. I get it. You're a vampire that's probably hundreds of years old, but I am no baby. Young? Yes. Baby? No," she frowns, making Jinyoung snicker.

"Cute, but exactly what a baby would say," he teases.

"CUTE? Excuse me? I'm serious. I have the wisdom of my ancestors at my fingertips. I know and see things that pre-date Jesus. I don't think babies can do all that," she replies, her arms crossed and eyebrows raised.

"Don't even get her started," Jinyoung groans, making her lean up and glare at him.

"With what? The truth grandpa?" she asks, making him sit up as well.

"How about you two not get each other started?" JB suggests, shaking his head at the two.

"Wait a minute. Did you just say things that pre-date Jesus?" Jimin asks, his fork clattering to his plate.
