7. The Goa escapade

Harshad laughed aloud as he heard Erica make some joke while they walked into the airport. She then got busy clicking some asthetics for they still had some time before the flight. Usually a complete off the phone person, Harshad's hands itched as he took out his cell phone to check the messages and grinned when he found just what he was waiting for.

"Thalassa resort, tomorrow evening is the plan".

Days like this, Harshad was proud of the fact that Naihal trusted him and loved him just as much as she adored Jennifer, okay maybe a little less, but he was getting there.

"Hey, Harshad", Erica's voice made him turn back to her with a raised brow, "I have an idea, let's tease the fans a little and see if they can guess", Erica smiled and pulled him towards a half mirror, half shine wall she had found and then clicked a selfie and put it up on her Instagram story. Their faces weren't visible but Harshad's travel bag and cap was enough for his crazy fandom to guess it was him.

What his off the SNS self had not yet got a grasp for was the spy talent JenShad fandom had, and he conveniently forgot that the woman he was planning to surprise had a bigger online fanbase and she was more active than him on Instagram and Twitter. So while he boarded the flight and enjoyed the company, someone else was already aware of his trip, and couldn't stop smiling since then.

Jennifer laughed at her friend's crazy antics while her phone buzzed like anything.

"What? Did you post something or what today?", Lana commented while trying another outfit. Jennifer shook her head and picked her phone up, swiping open the lock. Her Instagram and Twitter was buzzing - nothing new for her on days she posted something but on other days it wasn't this crazy.

A smile broke on her face as she checked her tagged section of Instagram and then twitter.

Someone was on his way to Goa.

A little something shifted inside her as along with her shippers going crazy at just the prospect of sighting him with her, there was another group of people buzzing a hashtag she didn't like. She had not liked it before and she didn't like it now.

Her cheeks flushed as she remembered the last time this had come up in their conversation. Instinctively, she raised her hand to touch the part of her forehead he had dropped a chaste kiss on before leaving the balcony.

"Wohooo! Someone's blushing! What's happening?", Lana teased and that brought Jennifer out of her reverie. She looked up at her and grinned. 2020 had taught a lot and the most prominent lesson was that tomorrow isn't promised, and that we need to make the most of now.

"I have a call to make", She jumped out of the couch and ran towards her room, dialling Naihal. If she knew her best friend right and if she knew him, they have to be involved together!

Harshad stood beside the director and watched the scenes they had just shot. The beach had been emptied and Anjuna was anyway known for its night life, so it was comparatively easier to do so. Their scenes had come out good, he noticed. Erica was a fun person to shoot with and also a thorough professional when working. Most scenes had been done in one shot.
