Naihal disconnected the call and exchanged a disappointed look with her husband Anniruddha, who patted her shoulders in response, trying to calm her down.

"He won't come Ani, I know. I am afraid all this will push Harshad away from all of us. I don't want that, I really like that guy", Naihal whined and Ani sighed. He was thinking the same thing and was equally worried.

"Jenny will have to understand. She can't run away from her feelings like this", Ani sighed, and Naihal closed her eyes in annoyance, at times like these Jennifer really tested her patience.

The group was preparing for a karoke night at Naihal's, nothing extraordinary, their usual fam jam but Harshad had politely denied her invitation this time, saying he wasn't sure but he will try, which Naihal knew meant he would not come.

And the reason behind it was also known to her. It was this gorgeous women she called her best friend. Ms. Jennifer Winget.

Naihal could clearly see something brewing between Jennifer and Harshad, especially over the last month of their beloved Bepannaah and uptil, ten months after the show has closed. Their was a certain force, that brought them together and she, along with her husband had paid special attention to how happy they looked in each other's companies, really carefree and kiddish. Majorly Jennifer's unbound giggles with Harshad had been the reason of their entire group accepting him with such huge open arms and Mr. Chopda who was otherwise a loner had mingled well with them.

But now, all of a sudden, things looked messy. Jennifer's abrubt change in behaviour had hurt Harshad and everyone apart from Jennifer could see that clearly even when Harshad tried his best to hide that with his huge cheeky smiles.

Naihal danced her eyebrows as her mind raced, trying to solve the issue. For one, she definitely needed to have a talk with Jennifer and for later, she knew one thing that affected Harshad sensitive Chopda the most, and she decided to use it to bring him to the gathering. She called that it as emotional blackmailing.

Jennifer opened the door irritated because she hated being disturbed during her afternoon nap, but was surprised to find Naihal standing there with crossed arms.

"Baby?", Jenny asked bewildered, "We're supposed to meet in the evening no?", she let Naihal enter and closed the door behind her, confused.

"Yes, but you weren't going to answer me in front of everyone, were you?", Naihal back questioned making Jennifer avert her eyes.

"What answers?", Jenny tried her best to act nonchalant as she patted breezer who was licking her feet.

"Why are you pushing Harshad away Jennifer?", Naihal asked straight forward, and Jenny knew her best friend enough to know she was very serious, because she seldom called her jennifer.

"I am not doing anything like that, and why would I?", Jennifer immediately defended, turning her back to Naihal but Naihal wasn't the one to give up.

"Because Harshad makes you want to be in love again and you are afraid of exactly that. Because Harshad makes you laugh and you want to continue laughing with him. Because Harshad keeps you before himself and that melts you inside and yet, you are here, hurting him the worst way possible", Naihal's words made a shiver ran down Jennifer. She turned to face Naihal who was fuming, Jennifer wanted to make sure she heard her right and Naihal's expressions made her feel she did.
