Meet again

To lose is to fight, to fight is to win.

Maaga akong umalis sa bahay ni Kuya para pumunta sa BWS village kung saan nakatira ang papalo ko.

When I got there the guards immediately opened the gate nang binaba ko ang salamin ng sasakyan.

"Ma'am!" Gulat na wika ng isang helper nang makababa ako.

"Ma'am ikaw ba talaga yan?" She ask.

'Ay hindi po, statue lang po tong kaharap niyo.'

"Hello po, opo, ako to si Penelope!" I greeted them.

"Grabe mas lalo ka pong gumanda!" Puri niya.

"Nako, salamat ho."

"Where's Papalo?" I asked.

"Nasa kwarto ho niya Ma'am. Nagpapahinga," I nodded and went there right away.

I knocked on the door and waited for response.

Ilang sandali lang ay bumukas ang pinto at inilabas nito ang pinakapogi kong Lolo.

"Ihja?" He look shocked when he saw me.

'Mukhang hindi nga binalitaan nila Mommy'

"PAPALOOOO!!" I giggle and hugged him tight.

He was so stunned pero nang makabawi ay niyakap rin ako ng mahigpit.

It feels good to embrace someone who means a lot to you. There's a perk of becoming one of the Santiago but there's a lot of pressure in it too.

My Papalo didn't let me feel any pressure at all.

I always put in mind what he always tell me back then.

"Kelan ka pa nakauwi ihja ko?" tanong niya.

"just two days ago. Sorry ngayon lang ako nakabisita rito," I pouted.

"No, no it's fine!" He hugged me again.

"How are you?" I asked.

"Hayyy eto...Still pogi and macho," sabay pakita sa muscles niya.

I laugh.

"Ah talaga?" I teased him ngunit tinawanan niya lamang ako bago nagyayang bumaba sa may garden para magkwentuhan.

"I heard Zeki's planning to start his own business." He said while drinking his coffee.

"I wasn't informed about that. He haven't told me yet Papalo but I think it's nice kung gagawin niya nga yon. I mean, you know, maybe it's time for him to start up a business he can call his own. Beside Papalo, we all know what Zeki's capable of," wika ko.

I knew back then na darating din ang panahon na kung saan magtatayo ng sariling business ang kakambal ko.

Knowing the fact na he doesn't like the idea of owning any inheritance from our parents o kahit sa grandparents man namin.

He loves working hard for the things that he want.

"Yeah, I was just thinking kung papaano ihahandle ni Kenzo ang lahat ng business namin ng lola mo. We're not getting any younger ihja, one of this days siguro ay ipapaubaya ko na ang lahat ng negosyo namin sa kapatid mo," I nodded.

Well, it would surely give kuya Kenzo a hard time but I know he's smart.

Hindi rin naman interesado ang iba kong pinsan sa business nila Papalo dahil may mga sariling negosyo ang mga yon.
