Bound To You

Chapter Nine

The group had all decided not to go to the founders day party as they had no need too, and knowing Elena she would ask Stefan to accompany her or try and seduce him whilst Maddies back was turned.

She walked both to the door after they had been there for a couple of hours, only to be intercepted at the door. "Hey Damon, considering Stefan would most likely be taking Mads to the founders party tomorrow would you like to accompany me? Like a date?" Elena asked, hoping to get Damon and Have stefan be jealous.

"Actually Elena, none of us are going," Damon stated simply. Causing the doppelganger to fume silently.

"Maddie, how- you know this is important to Mom," she practically spat at her.

"Well, Mums gone. She never made me attend these functions. You know that," maddie said in a sad tone. She just wanted her sister to be happy she was coming out of her shell again. And instead, she was just trying to get her boyfriend.

Stefan and Damon actually sat together in the parlour, stefan reading and Damon drinking. "This is strange," Stefan muttered.

"I wanna say sorry," Damon said, causing Stefan too look at him in such shock. He hadnt said sorry to him, and meant it, since they were human and he had no clue how to react. "I hated you for so long, but I don't want that anymore. I really just want my little brother back."

Maddie almost ran straight into Vicki Donovan a couple days later, she gave the girl a tight lipped smile. She was glad that Jeremy had someone but Vicki was a terrible influence. "I'm sorry, im almost done," Vicki said.

"No, no, don't worry take your time," maddie said, walking back to her room when Elena left hers.

"Jenna! are you aware of whats going on upstairs?" Elena asked as she and maddie walked down the stairs. "Uh-uh," jenna replied.

"And you have no objection?" Maddie asked surprised, everyone in Mystic Falls knew Vicki was no good.

"He could be craftier about it, at least make an effort to sneak her in and out. Oh, and just so you know, I won't be home for dinner," Jenna replied to the two girls.

Maddie raised her eyebrows in surprise, she was actually gonna go out with scum fell. "Oh so you're actually gonna do it, you're gonna go out with Logan," elena stated.

"I'm gonna go and torture him, yes. Hows you and Stefan?" Jenna asked Maddie and Elena rolled her eyes.

"Absolutely Brilliant. I've never felt like this before. Well, I've only had one boyfriend before but its different. He treats me like im the only girl in the entire world. Its a brilliant feeling," maddie blushed, not only talking about stefan but Damon too. "And I love torturing him," maddie laughed with a smirk.

"How so?" Elena asked.

'Well, he said im irresistible in skirts," she smirked, her aunt laughed when she realised that's why Maddie was wearing skirts again. Elena rolled her eyes, but allowed a small smile appear on her face. Maddies and her aunts laughs were kind of infectious.

"So you're telling me that its not either of you that killed Tanner, there's another vamp in town?" Zach Salvatore asked. His tone anything but kind. He rolled his eyes at the boys.

"I am offended at your lack of faith in us Zach, but no. Our soulmates in this town, so if the council gets wind of vampires being back we are gonna have a problem," Damon stated annoyed.

"The sexy suds car wash is tomorrow. The football team and the band have committed. Well, not all the band. Just the ones who could pull off the bikini. I want, in your face, sexy. I mean, it's a fund raiser, for god's sake," Caroline  said, causing maddie to roll her eyes. Due to being a cheerleader, and co-captain.  Suddenly she felt strong arms wrap around her waist, and laughed as Stefan spun her round. She quickly turned to face him. "Skirt," he growled kissing her deeply. Bonnie smiled at the two, she had never seen Maddie so carefree.

Stefan smiled at his and his brothers gorgeous girlfriend, and felt bad that she had to hide her relationship with Damon. "Come round tonight," he said. Causing her to raise an eyebrow. "I'm cooking dinner," he said.

She giggled at him, she loved spending time with the brother. "I want you to stay the night," he suggested. His tone thick.

"Id love too," she said, kissing him once more.

Damon Salvatore stood in the boarding house Kitchen, generally cooking. Zach Salvatore leaned up against the kitchen door with a look of surprise and distrust on his face. "What are you doing?" He asked Damon in a confused tone. 

"What does it look like Zach! Killing the masses!" Damon sassed, chucking his tea-towel over his shoulder as he put roast potatoes in the oven. "You're cooking a roast? Why?" Zach asked. 

"Well, dear nephew of mine, Stefano and i share a mate. Her favorite meal is a full English Sunday roast. He's bring her around after school, ergo i'm cooking," Damon stated causally. 

At that very moment a giggling Madelyn and Stefan walked through the door, her nose immediately smelling the roast. Damon and Zach walked out of the Kitchen, Damon walking over to his mate to give her a long kiss. "Dinner will be another 40 minuets yet, considering you've had her all day brother. It's my turn," Damon said. Without waiting for any kind of reply he vamp sped them to his room, eliciting another laugh out of Maddie.

Damon placed his mate gently down on his silk sheets, a bright smile on each of their faces, "You remembered my favorite meal," She stated with a smile. Damon smiled back at her, "Of course i did. I want to know everything about you." 

"Well, you know about me, tell me about you. What's your deepest darkest secret?" She asked with a light hearted smile. Damon's face turned sour. Thinking of two things in particular and he didn't want to tell her, as she would definitely think different of him. "Ok, you don't have to tell me until you are ready. But what ever it is, i honestly don't care. I - i really like you Salvatore," She said, placing herself on his lap and giving him a gentle and meaningful kiss. Going to pull away Damon growled. Every part of him wanted her. "I want you. But im not ready," maddie whispered quietly.

"That's perfectly okay with me," he replied back giving her a gentle kiss.
