Madelyn couldn't help but be completely attracted to both brothers, and she hated herself for it. But they were both her mates.
"He's on the rebound and has raging family issues." Madelyn told her aunt Jenna, who had amusement written on her face.
"Well, at least it's an ex-girlfriend." Jenna replied. "Wait till you date a guy with mommy issues. Or cheating issues. Or amphetamine issues." She tells Maddie.
The door opened and in waltzed Jeremy, late. "Jeremy." Jenna said. But he just looked at her annoyed and began racing up the stairs. "Jeremy, where were you?" She asked, more angry this time and began to follow him.
Madelyn listened to the two argue and Jeremy just blatantly ignore anything Jenna had said.
"Hi, Night of the comet. Would you like a program?" Bonnie asked as people passed by, Madelyn and Elena by her with Programs at the ready. They took the programs and the girls continued walking. "He didn't call, huh?" Bonnie asked Madelyn, but Elena assumed she was talking to her. Stefan could never like Madelyn. Madelyn was a freak.
"Or text. We never even exchanged that stuff. We never got to the texting part." Elena said, making Bonnie frown at her.
"I did. He texted me this morning, saying that he's sorry but he doesn't trust Damon so that's why he was acting so strange." Madelyn said, ignoring Elena's glare towards her. Elena doesn't scare her, why would she? This girl dealt with Voldemort, Elena's nothing.
"I'm not ready for a relationship Bonnie." Elena said.
"Well, that's good because he doesn't like you. Get that into your head Elena!" Madelyn snapped. Making Elena frown deeply.
"You know, that comet it's been traveling across space for thousands of years. All alone. " Stefan told Madelyn and Elena.
"Yeah, Bonnie says it's a harbinger of evil." Elena laughed.
"It is a harbinger of evil, i read about it, we studied it. Our teacher told us that it was a sign of truly terrible things to come and that anyone with bad intentions would be drawn to it. It's power will linger around for months, waiting for someone to use it. Fascinating." Madelyn Said to the two, Making Elena laugh slightly at her know it all sister. Elena was slowly coming to terms that Stefan and her sister were meant to be.
"I think it's just a ball of snow and ice trapped on a path that it can't escape." Stefan spoke up, smiling at Madelyn. "Once every 145 years, it gets to come home."
"Can i talk to you Stefan?" Madelyn asked, to which Stefan nodded.
They both walked to a private area, where they couldn't be disturbed. "Stefan, i know what you are. I know what you and your brother are, I know about Katherine." She said. Stefan was shocked, but he didn't let it show too much. "I know that we're mates. And i know that i'm Damon's mate too. " She said, at this point she was crying because she felt disgusted that she was mated to brothers.
"Don't cry. None of this is your fault." Stefan told her quietly. What she didn't know was that Damon was listening to her. "I don't want Damon Stefan, yes. I feel attracted to him, but i love you. I don't want him." Madelyn cried, and as soon as she said it Stefan placed his lips onto hers. Sparks igniting all over each others bodies like fire wherever they touched. Pulling each other closer. Damon let his jealously take over, so he decided to attack Vicki Donovan.
