She was innocent, shy and naive back then, did nothing but love him all her heart until she caught him kissing her sister. She couldn't handle the pain and betrayal, so she left.

Alessandro parked the car in front of the Ariti's front door before looking at Ourania with a different air surrounding her. She glance outside realizing they finally arrive, she open the door and step out of the vehicle. When Alessandro stood beside her, they went in and heard laughter in her father's library so that's where they went. Ourania didn't bother knocking and opened the door rather harshly, surprising everyone.
"Ah! My darling Ourania." Levanda said with teary eye and hug her daughter, but Ourania's attention was solely focus on one person and one person only, her sister. Her mother reluctantly pulled away and look at her daughter before looking at Alessandro, who stayed silent.
Ourania walk pass her mother and towards her sister who just stared at her blankly. She's getting more pissed and slap her across the face making everyone gasp except Alessandro. She slap her again and again and again, but Thalassa would just look back at her, taunting her.
"Ourania! What are you doing!?" Levanda hysterically ask and tried to approach her daughters but her husband stopped her. Aros is also confused about what's happening, but he feels like they needed to witnessed this to know what happened for Ourania to act like this.
"Not only did you team up with some gang to kidnapped me, you also set up the trap yourself." She stated, slapping her again. "You even told them to kill me, your own sister!" She yelled and slap her again. "For what!? So you could have Alessandro!?" Slap. "Let me tell you this Thalassa, Alessandro will never be yours! Even if I die, he will never be yours!"
"You don't know that." Thalassa smirk. "You don't know if he'll ever be mine, because you're still alive after all."
Levanda gasp in horror looking at her eldest daughter, she became someone different, someone who is not their daughter.
Ourania pulled her hair and slap her again, letting out her suppressed anger. "Because of you I had a miscarriage!" She cried out. "Because of you I lost my baby! Can you even imagine how painful that is!?" She violently pulled Thalassa's hair in every direction, slapping and punching her. She push Thalassa on the floor and was about to kick her when Alessandro wrap his arms around her and pull her away.
Alessandro turn her around so that she's facing him and hug her to calm her down.

"Alessandro, our baby." She cried. "Our baby died without me even knowing that he's growing in my womb. I didn't had the chance to take care of him, I didn't had the chance to tell him I love him." Ourania cried even harder. He kiss her on top of her head before he look up at the ceiling to stop his own tears from falling.
Once Ourania calmed down, he lead her outside. "Why don't you go home first? You'll only get more upset if you stay here. I need to talk to them and explain everything." He said. Vladyslav, who followed him with Ourania's car stopped in front of them. She look up at Alessandro and nodded before getting in the car. Alessandro look at the sky and sigh before walking back inside.
Arriving home, Ourania step out of the car. Vlad followed her up to the front door and stop her from entering. After the incident, Alessandro assigned him as Ourania's bodyguard indefinitely due her former one not being able to come back. He owes Ourania and Alessandro so much and it pains him to see them like this, so what he's about to say might be out of place but he feels like Ourania needed to hear it.
"I know I'm just your bodyguard and I have no right to interfere or whatever." He started. "I know you're hurting and when you're hurting, you shut everybody out and that's understandable, but Ourania, you're forgetting something, someone." Ourania furrowed her brows at him. "You're forgetting Alessandro, you're forgetting that he's also hurting. It's his baby too and I'm sure he's suffering as much as you are, but he's holding it in because of you." He went on and stop for a moment when Ourania teared up, realization hit her on the face. "He's holding in his pain, because he needed to be strong for you, because you needed him, but Ourania, he needs you too. He needs you as much as you need him." That was all he said and excuse himself, leaving Ourania filled with shame and regret.
She went up to their room in daze and dropped her body on the bed crying again for a different reason this time. She wants to see Alessandro right away.

Alessandro told them everything that happened, not leaving out any information. To say their parents are furious is an understatement, they were beyond livid, horrified at what Thalassa had done. Aros told him that he'll take care of her and his parents telling him to leave everything to them. Alessandro just nodded before going home. He loosened his tie and climb the stairs silently, he found Ourania sitting on the foot of the bed when he entered their room. He pulled the chair on her vanity table and sit in front of Ourania, their hands reaching out at the same time.
"I'm sorry." Ourania said, bringing Alessandro's hand to her lips.
"For what?" He ask.
"I'm sorry for being selfish. I was so focused on my own pain that I forgot you're also hurting. I'm sorry I've forgotten that he was your baby too and that you are just devastated as I am." Ourania look at him. "I didn't mean to shut you out Alessandro, I didn't mean to disregard your feelings for the past three weeks." Ourania sob. Alessandro pulled her to his lap, wiping her tears away.
"Ourania it's okay." He reassured, "I understand why you became like that and I am not blaming you honey, we deal with pain and sadness differently. Some people handle it well and some people don't and that's okay, it takes a lot of patience and understanding and I have a lot of those, so you can shut me out for even a month and it's fine, I can wait until you feel better." He said and kiss her tears away. "Yes I was devastated hearing we lost our baby, but what hurt me the most was seeing you waste away in our bed, your eyes looking so lifeless. You're my everything and more Ourania and just thinking that I might lose you too is even more painful."
She wipe the tear the escaped his eye and pressed her lips on his forehead. "I am so sorry for worrying you Alessandro and you're not going to lose me, I'll always be here."
"We'll get through this, together." He assured her. "I love you Ourania." He said sincerely. "Always."
