It's funny how your life can change in an instant. One minute your screaming some stupid song from the radio in the car, the next your in the hospital waiting room praying your best friend will make it. One minute, one mistake can change your life and everyone's around you. It seems as if time slows down, the car hits the van, the glass shatters, ambulance lights flash in the distance. You just stand there wondering what the heck went wrong. Wishing you never got in the car this morning, never planned to go out that night. The "what ifs" swirl around you like a dark cloud of gloom. One minute, one second, one mistake is all it takes.
