Here I stand;
My palm upon your hand;
Dreams whisk and whirl;
Within my eyes like droplets of dew pearl.
I share my life with you;
Forever trusting in you;
You are mine;
As I am yours;
Forever to hold;
Our love shall be eternal.
My life binds to your world;
Old ties forgotten;
As new ties are joined;
My wishes I give to you;
My dreams I entrust to you;
My needs are now yours;
My love is only yours;

Those words echoed through my mind, shaking me at a gasp out of my sleep. I was welcomed back to my fate I once so blindly sealed.
I lived a life that suffocated me. My blissful dreams turned into forgotten foggy mists that had been blown away by Autumn winds. My hands searched for love but never would it come within their grasp.
I close my eyes, letting tears flow down my cheeks. Slowly but surely, I was withering and dying inside. A small thought erupted within me, reining my attention and taking me to a better place-
