Scroll Ni - Jiji

[ A/N, ight so I'm sorry that I'm uploading this on... maybe Saturday? Can't guarantee anything, not that it really matters to the 11 people who read the first part. So I have valid excuses tho. First of all, I was out of motivation and I was sick to the point that I had to blow my nose, cough, or had a severe headache without a break.

So a few more things before we get to this part. I had the first 2-3 parts or as I call them "Scrolls" written but they were written with a clouded mind and weren't very good quality, not like any of my other stuff would be quality but you know I have some standards. So I'm currently starting to write the second part after making some edits to the first one so it would just be better overall.

Also, I'm going to try to make my chapters 2000+ words but if I feel like I won't be able to get that many words into one chapter I will just see how much I can get written and not force myself to fulfill the 2000 word goal. I remember I did that for "Bloodlines" and I feel like it added a lot of unnecessary stuff. I also changed up my writing style, a tiny bit.

[ Scroll two, Jiji ]

A young boy with black hair and orange bangs framing his face, maybe five years old and a face covered in sweat, is seen running away from a rather big group of people.

You would normally think that the boy must have done something bad, like stealing or vandalizing property to receive such treatment, but that's where you would be gravely mistaken.

You see, that boy is known as the "Demon brat" in Konohagakure. That sounds quite bad, does it not? It does, but in truth, the boy has never done anything wrong to the civilians or shinobi of Konohagakure no Sato. If anything he should be regarded as a hero, but that's just not what is happening here.

I should elaborate. Five years ago, on October tenth, Konohagakure no Sato was attacked by the Kyuubi.

The Kyuubi had killed many people and wrecked the village, among those deceased were the village's beloved Yondaime Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki. The public thought that the Yondaime had killed the Kyuubi and for some reason, the "Demon brat" was said to be the Kyuubi in the human form, the remains of the Kyuubi after the fight with Yondaime.

What the insolent people didn't know, was that boy, was the Yondaime's son.

On that fateful day, Minato Namikaze decided to seal the Kyuubi inside his son, Naruto Uzumaki. But since the Yondaime had many enemies, the Sandaime Hokage, decided to keep Naruto's heritage hidden in hopes of keeping him safe.

But... in fact, he made young Naruto's life much worse.

People in the village took Naruto as the Kyuubi, as I mentioned before, which lead to Naruto being thrown out of the orphanage, the stores not selling Naruto anything or massively overpricing the products, restaurants kicking Naruto out, but the worst of all... brutal, merciless beatings.

On October tenth, the villagers, genin, and some chunin would gather together and take part in a festival they called the "Foxhunt". That festival contained a group of people chasing around young Naruto, and when they catch him they would torture him.

And unfortunately, today was that faithful day, October tenth.

Naruto, an innocent young boy, was running away from a group of people containing normal civilians and trained shinobi hoping he would live to see tomorrow.

"Right, left... right." Naruto thought to himself, navigating through the alleyways trying to reach the Hokage tower before anyone could hurt him, he knew that the only place safe would be the Hokage tower, as he was thinking that Naruto took another right turn.
