Zelk's Pov

I went to a nearby coffee shop to clear my head, when I saw Skeppy. I walked up to him and said, "hey Zak."

He looked at me then responded, "Hi Jake, what happened to your eyes?"

"My soulmate tried to c-commit sui-suicide," I muttered.

"Where do they live?!" I could hear the sympathy flooding Zak's voice as he said that.

I responded saying, "the same state yours lives in."

"So where?" He asked with confusion.

"Fl-florida," I knew that Zak was nineteen years old so I decided that it was time to tell him, "Darryl is your soulmate," I said.

He looked at me with an incredulous look on his face, "What?! How do you know?"

I smiled, I was glad the topic changed from my soulmate even if it was only for a few minutes, "Mega and Finn apparently live nearby and they were tracking your strings."

"Anyways back to your soulmate, do you want me to drive you to where your red string is?" He asked.

I nodded, we made conversation as we followed my red string to a nearby building, the hospital.

"Hello and welcome," said the front desk lady smiling, "what do you need today?"

I motioned to my wrist saying, "I'm just following the red string, I was wondering if my soulmate was here."

"Ok which direction is the string pointing in?" She asked.

I pointed to the left and said, "upwards, a bit to the left."

Her face fell as she said, "that is the ICU (intensive care unit), are you sure it's pointing that way?"

I nodded and Zak dragged me up the stairs in that direction. We walked all the way until we were in room 8D (ignore the face lol). When we walked up to the room...
