Ch 20 Reunions Pt 1

Y/N POV

Y/N: "I'm a friend of Ruby and Yang."

Man: "Oh, you must be Y/N. Please, come on in."

He lets me inside while I remember something funny when he said "come on in." He then leads me to the living room.

Man: "The girls speak very highly of you."

Y/N: "I was one of the first people they met when they first arrived in Beacon."

Man: "Speaking of Beacon, they also said you helped deal with the grimm and saved them from danger."

Y/N: "I was just making sure everyone was safe mister...?"

Tai: "Call me Tai. Even still you saved my girls so I thank you."

Y/N: "I'm happy to help."

Tai: "Guess it's time they know you're here. Girls come here!"

A few seconds later I hear two sets of footsteps walking down the stairs and head to us.

Ruby: "What is it da-Y/N!"

She jumps latching onto my chest.

Ruby: "I thought you said you weren't going to see me until tomorrow?"

Y/N: "I thought I should surprise you."

Ruby: "I like this surprise."

I look at Yang and she is just standing there not even looking at me.

Y/N: "Come on over here Yang."

She runs and hugs me.

Ruby: "Guys...can't...breath."

I look down and see Ruby being smothered between me and Yang. I step away allowing her to breath; she looks at me puffing out her cheek in a pout which I just find adorable.

Y/N: "How have you girls been?"

Yang: "We've been good."

Tai: "I'd hardly call worrying how Y/N is doing as good."

RY: "Dad!"

Y/N: "It's good to know that you girls care about me."

Tai: "Since you're here Y/N, do you want to join us for dinner?"

Y/N: "Only if I'm not imposing."

Tai: "Not at all, think of this as thanks for saving my girls."

Y/N: "Then I will happily join you."

Tai walks into the kitchen to prepare dinner while me, Ruby and Yang sit in the living room just talking.

Y/N: "So, what's new with you girls?"

Ruby: "I turned seventeen and grew a full two inches."

Y/N: "That is good to hear. What about you Yang?"

Yang: "Aside from keeping up with my training, nothing much."

We continue to talk until Tai calls us for dinner. After dinner Ruby and Yang lead me to their room where we continue to hang out and talk. Pretty soon night falls so I decide to head outside and go see how the others are doing. I teleport to where I sense Blake and find myself back in Menagerie and more precisely at the house I was at when I first came here. I knock on the door and when the door opens I am greeted by Blake.

Blake: *hugs me* "It's good to see you again Y/N."

Y/N: "It's good to see you too Blake."

Blake: *lets go* "Please come in."

I am lead inside and see Kali, Ghira and Sienna sitting in the living room.

Blake: "Everyone, this is my good friend Y/N L/N."

Y/N: "Hello again."

Ghira: *fists bumps me* "Where have you been man?"

Y/N: "All across Remnant."

Kali: "We haven't heard from you in so long."

Y/N: "I kind of had to go silent for awhile."

Sienna: "Why's that?"

Y/N: "Unforeseen circumstances."

Blake: "Have you all met already?"

Kali: "Yes, we met Y/N when he and his team came here for a mission a while back."

Blake: "What all did you do?"

We all go wide eyed and are left speechless until I speak.

Y/N: "Oh you know, just sit down and talk over a glass of tea."

Sienna: "Yeah that."

Kali: "Nothing but long talks."

Ghira: "And the exchange of stories."

Blake: "Sounds like you guys had a good time."

Kali, Sienna: "A really good time."

We all sit down and catch up.

Kali: "So what brings you all the way back to Menagerie?"

Y/N: "I just thought I come and see how everyone is doing."

Ghira: "We are all doing great."

Blake: "A little hectic since the attack on Beacon, but once we are back in school things should calm down."

Kali: "Speaking of, thank you for looking after our little Blakey."

Blake: "Mom!"

Y/N: "I'm glad she made it out safe."

About a hour later I teleport back to the Schnee manor and head inside. I hear shouting and head to it to find out what's happening. I reach the spot and see Jacques Schnee in a wheelchair yelling at the rest of the Schnee family.

Jacques: "You all disgrace me!"

Y/N: "I see being in a wheelchair only made you more of a dick."

Jacques: "You!"

They all look at me and everyone even Whitley surprisingly looks happy to see me. I walk past the rest of the Schnee and head straight for the patriarch.

Jacques: "You have cost me everything!"

Y/N: "You brought all of this on yourself."

Jacques: "Because of you I have to spend the rest of my days in this damn wheelchair! On top of that, because of you my wife is pushing for a divorce and I'm being left with nothing!"

Y/N: "Looks like you are getting what you deserve."

Jacques: "If you hadn't been brought here by my failure of a daughter none of this would have happened!"

My anger gets the best of me and I flip his wheelchair knocking him out of it and onto the floor. He goes to reach for it but I kick it across the room.

Y/N: "Everyone leave this room."

I soon hear the door close leaving me and Jacques the only ones in the room.
