~Y/N's POV ~ We just got back from Aoba Johsai, We were now cleaning up as I got called to the Principal's office, "Y/N L/N the principal wants to see you" A student said as it called out from the Gym doors, "Well then...DaiDai~ I'll see you back home~" I waved and took my bags and headed to the office, I was still wearing my Archery Outfit under Daichi's jacket.
I reached the office and knocked "Enter" the principal said as I opened the door and went inside "Ms. L/N...I'm really sorry to inform you,Your Father, he got into a car accident..." he said, I felt my heart sink,
'Why...why do I feel like this?.... I thought I hated him...he left me,That fucking Bastard! But.... Why do I feel I just lost a piece of me? Why?....' I never felt so confused "T-thank you for telling me Sir...I'll be excusing my self now..." I heard my voice crack,I bowed and went out the office, I reached the stairs,I leaned to a nearby wall for support as I felt my knees grew weak, I sunk to the floor,holding onto the railings of the stairs,
'He left me....I shouldn't be affected by this! But Why? WHY!?' I gripped tighter to the railing as my tears began flowing out "WHY!?" I screamed out,not noticing the footsteps that were closing in 'I should hate him but why can't I!? This is Stupid!why do I feel like this!? Why is so hard for me!? It's been 13 Fucking Years since I last seen him...Then he suddenly comes back into my life!?' I cried and I suddenly felt arms around me
"Tell Me..." said a familiar voice, Daichi.... "I don't hate him...and he's In the Hospital right now! Why don't I hate him!?" I turned to look at him and I hugged him back "Hey,It's alright....Should we go and see him?" Daichi asked me and I nodded "Miss L/N, Your little sister is alone now..."the principal said from the top of the stairs,realization hit me like a truck, "Aiko!" I said as I stood up and ran while I dragged Daichi behind me.
Aiko is my half sister, she's only 3 since she's my father's child from another woman, I've seen her a couple times when my father visited me in America, I would normally spend time with the baby more than paying attention to my father, Aiko's Mother died after giving birth to her, she was a nice lady and treated me kindly, I would normally go out with her while she was pregnant during her visits or me and my father would take turns taking care of the baby.
We arrived at the Hospital and asked the staff where I could find Taro L/N and they said he was in the ICU, I rush to the waiting area knowing that Aiko would be there "Fairy!" A voice squeaked as a little child emerged from the seat,It was Aiko, Her eyes were red and her face was wet with tears, I let Daichi's hand go and ran towards the little girl and giving her a hug.
"Aiko...." I said as she hugged me back "Fairy!Daddy's Hurt!He's covered in blood!" She cried out while holding onto the jacket I was wearing(Daichi's Jacket :p) "It's okay Aiko, Fairy is here...Don't cry..."I said as I patted her back "Fairy...I'm scared..." Aiko said and Daichi crouched down beside us
"Hey...It's alright...Me and Fairy will protect you....Stop crying already,It'll be okay...." Daichi said, making Aiko look at him "You Promise?" Aiko asked him "I Promise..."Daichi said as he held out his Pinky out, Aiko finally smiled and intertwined her small pinky onto his, Aiko's eyes showed redness and she gave out a small yawn, I lifted her up and cradled her and she quickly fell asleep.
"I guess all that crying made her tired...." I sighed and leaned my head onto Daichi's shoulder,I was still swaying slightly and Daichi placed his hand onto my waist "What are we gonna do with her?" He asked, We were already in a legal age and I've been getting paid by a good amount of money monthly from the company I work with for Advertising their products and my skill, "I'm the only family she's got, I'm old enough and I get payed...but it's up to my father to decide..." I said as I gave a sigh while Daichi ran his fingers through my hair "Don't worry,I'll be here for you no matter what..." he said as he looked down at me while smiling.
After minutes slowly passed by and me and Daichi were sitting on the chairs while Aiko was sleeping on my lap, my hands supporting her tiny body well I was small myself but let's not think about that now, me and Daichi just finished eating well.....it Ended up with him feeding me because my hands were preoccupied.
Me and Daichi were just scrolling through his socials when he received a phone call from his Dad, he said that he was dropping off his little sister but he wasn't at home, he explained that he was at the hospital accompanying me and when his dad heard I was with him, He said that he'll be here as soon as possible, Daichi had recently became an older brother three years ago, they weren't really expecting a new member of the family but then Auntie got pregnant again and she had a baby girl, a few weeks younger than Aiko, She was named Nika, After he got off the phone call,the doctor came out and said that my dad wanted to talk to me, I gave Aiko to Daichi and I walked up to the doctor.
"He doesn't have much time left,he had several injuries,I'm sorry..."He said as he patted my shoulder, I just nodded and went inside, "Y-Y/N....I'm sorry..." he said "You grew up without me..." he continued and looked over to me while laying in his deathbed "Dad,It's okay...I forgive you..." I said as I held my dad's hand and placed it on my forehead "No matter what happens,your still my Dad and nothing can change that...." I sobbed into his hand "Thank you...Please take care of your sister for me..."he said in a very hush tone "And that Sawamura boy...I approve of him...he's a good guy,don't let him go..." Dad said while weakly patting my head, I chuckled "I Promise Dad, I'll make you Proud" I said while I smiled at him, tears cascaded down my cheeks and he smiled weakly at me "I Love You Little Fairy..." and with that my Dad closed his eyes and I heard his Heart monitor Beep, Showing a flat line,
'He left...Again but this time he's not coming back....' I cried and got up and left the room, Daichi's Dad was holding two small sleeping girls in his arms as Daichi hugged me "Its gonna be alright..." He said and I just nodded while I wiped away my tears.
"Y/N you've grown so much..." Said Daichi's Dad and I just chuckled, "Are you gonna adopt your sister as your own?" He asked me "It's my father's wish, I'll do everything for Aiko..."I said and after a few conversations we headed home as Daichi's Dad headed off to the airport for his trip,leaving me and Daichi with two 3 year old girls, I had a driver's license and so did Daichi so we managed fine since Uncle left his car for us to use,
After we buried my dad, I officially became Aiko's Legal Guardian and Daichi decided to help me, Aiko and Nika became really close and they seemed to have a sister bond. The funny thing is, Nika and Aiko looked so much like each other if it weren't for the difference in their Eye color.... (Kinda like that~)
