I thought of the day you proposed to me

Few more minutes and graduation is already done

You were giving your speech and everyone was listening
I felt like a proud mother even tho I'm your girlfriend.
After some time you were done giving your long speech and finished it with 'thank you',

Next the principal went up to give her ending speech.

Loud cheerings were heard,
Our parents went to us saying their congratulations and praises.
We all agreed the we should eat together,
So we all went to a big restaurant somewhere.
What I didn't expect is that your parents already reserved a place and that this was all already planned
We sat and ordered food but before the waiter leaves,
You whispered something to him and he left.
As we were waiting I saw you looking nervous
"Is there something wrong?"
I asked but you said 'nothing's wrong'
I was about to ask you again but I got interrupted by the waiters
The food is faster than I expected.
A song was played but it wasn't just any song,
It was the song he sang when he asked you to be his girlfriend.
I was surprised
But I got more surprised when I saw my boyfriend kneeling right infront of me
My eyes are as wide as saucers behind me–
"Will you marry me?"
I was still shocked that I only managed to nod
You have the biggest smile on your face as you put the ring on me
You pulled me up and spun me around
"You completed me, I will love and take care of you no matter what"
You told me and I was so happy to hear that
Other people in the restaurant were looking at us, cheering
"Thank you, and I love you"
I said
"I love you too"
You replied and kissed me.
