She woke up early next morning and decided to take a warm bath first before going out of her room. After a good bath, she dressed herself and tied her hair with a purple bow.

A knock on her door made her turn away from her reflection and called out to whoever it was to come in.

A servant bowed and announced that breakfast was served and that Odette and her brother was waiting for her in the dining hall. She thanked the servant and requested her to take her satchel into the carriage.

She walked towards the dining hall when she felt a faint throb of pain on her back. Right. She almost forgot about that. How those mages messed her up....her and Gusion up...oh no.

Realization dawned upon her. How did she actually forget? Where was Gusion? Was he injured badly? Those mages talked about giving him a good beating. How messed up is he right now?

Once she got to the dining hall, Lancelot instantly noticed her somber look.

"Good morning!" Odette greeted which snapped Guinevere out of her thoughts.

Guinevere managed to smile, "Good morning."

Lancelot raised a brow, "What's on your mind?"

Guinevere looked at him, "I just remembered Gusion. I'm worried that he might be somewhere in the forest seriously injured. Those mages beat him up before they took me."

"Who is this Gusion?" Odette asked in concern.

"He's a friend of mine." Guinevere replied.

"I'll send some of my soldiers to roam the forest and try to find this Gusion. What does he look like?" Odette asked.

Guinevere smiled in relief, "He has brown hair and blue eyes. He's fit and as tall as Lancelot and he wore a white suit with a purple sash."

Odette nodded, "I'll let my soldiers know. I'll also send you a letter when we have found him."

Guinevere stood up from her seat and rushed towards the princess and gave her a hug. Odette gasped in surprise but hugged Guinevere back. Lancelot too was caught offguard with his sister's action but he couldn't help but smile, happy to see Odette and his sister get along well.

"Thank you so much!" Guinevere exclaimed.

Odette laughed and gave her back a gentle pat, "My pleasure."

"So, are we off?" Guinevere asked as she looked at her brother after finishing her meal.

"Not quite yet." Lancelot replied.

Guinevere frowned in confusion before Odette stood.

"I have called in a physician today since Lancelot told me last night that you may have acquired some injuries." Odette said.

Guinevere looked between the two and nodded, "I guess I have."

Lancelot stood and gestured for her to follow them to the throne room where the physician was.

The physician was an old man with spectacles and he smiled when he saw them approach. He bowed before Odette introduced Guinevere and Lancelot to him.

He asked for Guinevere's permission to touch her back to examine just how severe her injury was to which she allowed. The physician was gentle with her as he palpated her back and used some kind of instrument to listen to her breathing from her back.

"Well, the injury is slowly repairing itself but I advise you, Your Highness, not to exert too much effort from your back. I recommend you get enough sleep and drink this, after your breakfast." He then took out a small bottle with a clear liquid inside it, "Just one teaspoon of it and three days of this should do the trick. Just do rest."

Guinevere took the bottle and smiled at him, "I will. Thank you very much."

The physician smiled and bowed to her. Odette thanked her and asked the servants to escort him to the dining hall to serve him breakfast.

"Looks like you have to be extra careful with your trainings." Odette said and Guinevere nodded in agreement.

Lancelot thanked Odette for her kindness again and announced that they needed to go. Odette's smile faded slightly but she nodded. She wished them a safe journey and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Guinevere had to bite her tongue to stop herself from saying anything that could ruin this moment. Lancelot could only stare at her before Odette turned to Guinevere.

Both princesses hugged and Odette whispered that she and Lancelot should look out for each other to which Guinevere nodded.

Odette accompanied them to the carriage and Guinevere got in first and turned to her brother expectantly only to see him talking to Odette with one of his swords in his hands. He was handing it to her while Odette looked at it in awe.

"Consider it as my gift and as a reminder that I'm always with you. I'll always be one with the sword."

Guinevere heard her brother say to Odette. She couldn't help but smile at the sight. She always thought that the day Lancelot would fall in love would be the day she'd hate the most for it signifies the day she's losing her brother's attention and time to a random girl. But Odette is not just a random girl. She's a princess that has done a lot for them already.

Odette took the sword with grace and smiled up at him.

"I'll treasure it forever."
