A/n: so, this is imagine is a little bit different from my others. If you've been here awhile you know I like to write the reader as being the sweet, sensitive, shy type. But now, after much thought, and feedback from you guys, I've written this chapter to have the reader be more "badass" you could say. So, I hope you like it :)

P.S. I'm sorry if this sucks I really tried.

———-

Prompt: The reader doesn't have a very "good" past one could say. She plays hard to get and shuts down anyone who tried to get close to her. She isn't the nicest to people either and comes off as more of a "badass" kinda. However, what will happen when she kinda out a certain Slytherin prince fancies her?

Warnings: Angst and language but fluffy at the end.

Words: 2k

The sound of my footsteps on the floor in the empty corridor echoed down the hallway. It was quiet, too quiet. It seemed as though I was the only living thing in the hallway, which I quite liked that is, until I heard the ear bleeding sounds of some 3rd years getting it on in a near by broom closet. I rolled my eyes as I walked past it, the sounds of their moaning and groaning filling my ears disgustingly.

Finally I reached the end of the corridor and turned to my right out of ear shot from the broom closet. My arms were slowly moving back and forth at my sides and i whistled a soft tune. Reaching the end of the hallway I walked down the stairs to the Slytherin common room door where I whispered the password before proceeding further into the dungeons. Upon entering the common room the quietness I was just in had immediately vanished, to my disappointment. Slytherin girls and boys were running about the common room, conversing and laughing with their fellow dorm mates. The energy was livid, everyone in the room seemed to hallowing at something.

My face twisted up in annoyance. My nose scrunched up and my eye brows furrowed, A sudden  headache appeared and the constant babbling from the others only made it worse. I let out a huff shaking my head and walking towards the stairs that would lead to me my dorm room however, upon reaching the top of the stairs I over heard some Slytherin boys talking, and only by their voices I already knew who they were.

"Why don't you tell her that you like her?!"

"What are you talking about!? I don't like her!"

"Oh yeahhh, sure you don't, Malfoy."

It was none other than Blaise Zabini and Draco Malfoy. The two most popular boys in the whole school. Every girl fawned over them, me however, I couldn't careless, at least, that's what I told people. I will admit it, I found Draco cute. He never bullied or made snarky comments at me, maybe because I'm usually the one to do it first but, I still found him to be very attractive and sweet. I wasn't really sure why I picked on him from time to time. So, In this situation I'm not really sure why I felt a tang of jealousy hit the pit of my stomach while I stood there. I shrugged it off and swallowed the lump in my throat and walked down the stairs.

Several weeks had gone by, the whispers that seemed to surround me as I walked down the corridors were starting to be to get on my nerves. What made it worse is the fact that I didn't even know what they were all whispering about either.

"Did you know that..." I could never hear a whole conversation, by the time I was in early shot of a  group of kids they would quickly stop talking and turn away, as if trying to hide from me.

I wouldn't blame them, I'm not the nicest to people. I don't blame myself for being rude, I blame my family. My mother was an abusive alcoholic who ended up leaving me with my dad. Which was perfect, it was finally just us, then he would disappear days and weeks at a time leaving me home alone with a signal clue as to where he was. On top of that, the countless boys that I supposedly "liked" ended up being complete utter assholes.
