Your POV:

The summer leading to fifth year was great. My family had gotten closer and me and my best friend Draco Malfoy, had gotten closer. Of course we've been friends sense we were little, but as the years go on we just seem to get closer and closer. Even though I'm in Ravenclaw and he's in Slytherin. We are both pure bloods and after all we can't be separated.

When fifth year started I expected again another normal beautiful life at Hogwarts with my friends and studies. Although at that time I didn't know the ministry would get involved. When the year started a member of the ministry came to be our DADA teacher. Professor Umbridge, a plump women who oddly seemed to be obsessed with the color pink even though she was as wicked as he-who-must-not-be-named.

When she came she slowly started to take over. Laying down rules once she was appointed to a higher position and continued to do such things. She laid down rules, she tested teachers and almost went to the extent of firing one. Like always Ravenclaw, Hufflepuffs, and Grifindores were thought low of, just because pretty much everyone didn't agree with Umbridge. The Slytherin of course were her favorite. As they helped her create a group of people called the Inquisitorial squad. Draco was part of it. It Hurt me because of the fact that I disagreed with Umbridges ideas.

That squad was made when the rumor about Dumbledores army spread around the castle and Umbridge made it quite clear she would expel anyone who was caught working in the said group. That's how everything went down hill sort of.

As I made my way to DADA I dreaded every step I took towards the class room. The only good part about it was the fact that I shared this class with Draco. As I entered the room I sit to the table next to him with my my roommate

"Hey Lilly." I groaned not wanting to spend part of my afternoon in this hell of a class.

"Hey y/n. How are you?"

"Horrible now that I'm in here." I groaned again and I threw my hands up slightly. Lily laughed but agreed none the less. A tapping was heard from behind and everybody shut up, the little paper bird that was flying around was burned to ashes in a pile on the ground as the devil herself walked passed my table. The Children's books levitating and landing right in front of everyone made everyone one in the room confused.

"Ordinary, Wizarding, Level examinations. More commonly known as O.W.Ls." Her high pitched voice rang through the slightly cold room making my head hurt more then it already did.

She explained everything but of course , I wasn't listening. I drowned out her voice until I heard her say that we wouldn't be using defensive spells in class. What's the point of teaching us spells then?

"But how are we supposed to defend ourselves" I asked well actually stated more then asking.

"I don't see why you'd need to use spells in my class room." Her voice spoke again. It's as if her voice keeps getting higher and higher every time a word leaves her mouth.

"But that's the point of this class, is to learn spells to help defend us from the dangers out there!" I raised my voice a little bit.

"Students will raise they're hands in my class room before speaking."

"And don't worry dear, you'll be learning spells in a risk free way." Sarcasm and hell is what seemed like leaked from her mouth. Her devilish smirk only kept making me angrier and angrier.

"But how are we supposed to-!"

"Detention! See me in my office after class Ms. Y/l/n!" She interrupted causing the whole class to go silent and me scared out of my mind.
