Zuko's Baby Sister

Chapter Four

   "But he wouldn't fight me. He said he wouldn't hurt his strongest child. But I knew he was scared." Iroh looked at me.

     "My brother doesn't love his children just wants the power they have. When you first bender and Ozai saw the white flame, he knew to put you on the thrown. That you'd help win the war."

    "But that's not my destiny." I said with a sigh. "My destiny is full of betrayal. Zuko was never supposed to burn me. Aang was never supposed to give me back. Mom was not supposed to leave. I was not supposed to fall for the Avatar." I grimaced then sighed.

    "Destiny is a funny thing, You never know how things are going to work out. But if you keep an open mind and an open heart, I promise you will find your own destiny someday." He said then he stood. "I hope you sing for us tonight during dinner. We'll be making your favorite. Roast Duck." I giggled.

    "Uncle that's your favorite!" He shrugged. I smiled then turned and saw Zuko in the doorway. He looked at me as my smile dropped then I walked to him.

    "I'm sorry baby sister." He whispered, then he moved.

   Later that night we held dinner on the deck and I was going to sing for everyone, we would be at the prison by late night so we were filling ourself prior. I stood in front of everyone and lightly glared at my brother. He was to know he can't keep me locked away. He won't keep me silent. I won't be Speechless.

"Here comes a wave
Meant to wash me away
A tide that is taking me under

    Everyone began clapping as I took a deep breathe. I will not be a little puppet for my father. For my sister. Or for my brother. It's time I do things my own way.

       *Iroh's POV*

    "Perfect." I said to my niece as I saw the Avatar and his Bison flying above us. In the night sky no one paid much attention but I saw him. And I know Ardema has to go with him. I'm sorry Zuko.

     "Uncle. I don't think I'll forgive him for what he did. But thank you, for earlier." I nodded at my niece and she got up. "Good night."

    "Good Night, my flower." She left.

     *Aang's POV*

     I heard her. I saw her. And now I know. I'm going to get her back.
