Chapter 18

Gon's POV

I was in floor reading my books. Life has gotten so lonely. Usually I would be cuddling killua right now... But he's not here...

Its been a few months now and I haven't seen or heard from killua. I always worry. Did he forget about me?

My dad and kikyo have been great I think. Im happy for my dad. Kurapika and leorio are the only ones who comfort me. But that doesn't make me feel that better. I was not paying attention to the book that I accidentally dropped it in my face. "Fuck" I mumbled. I sat up and rubbed my nose. I made my way to the balcony and enjoyed the view. I missed whale island...

"Gon?" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw alluka.

"Hi alluka!" I said smiling.

"Hi!" She said running up to me. She sat down in the couch and looked over at me. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"Nothing really...just bored as usual..." I said

"Oh- well maybe we can do something later! Play some board games with the family" alluka said. I smiled and nodded "yay! Ok we'll play later. Bye!" Alluka said leaving the room.

I looked over at my phone and saw no notifications. Forget it gon. He probably forgot about you and found a new guy. Accept it.... I walked back inside and continued reading.

Killua's POV

I hit myself in the head realizing I forgot were I left my letter. "Fuck! Where is it!" I said looking around my messy room. I found it! "Yes!" I said jumping up and down. It's gon's letter. I always kept it with me.

I couldn't contact gon mainly because I didn't wanna cry.... I miss him so much.  He probably thinks I forgot about him. But in reality. I always think of him. I haven't had the guts to see him. Because whenever I do. I might cry and want to hug him. But I had to control my feelings.

I read the letter and smiled. I stuffed it in my pocket and made my way downstairs. Illumi and I ate some food and then went back to our rooms. I locked myself in. Life is so boring now!

I hate this so much. I rather just be with my mom. But I can't because if gon's there I might wanna be with him.

Gon's POV

I was in bed just reading. It already was dark outside. Wow I really am a book nerd... I finally got bored. We already played the board games and had a really good time...but something seemed kinda off....

I ignored it and looked at my phone. I texted the group chat. Kurapika and leorio and I are in a group chat. I was bored so we just ended up texting. "Son?" My dad said opening the door.

"Hi dad" I said not looking away from my phone.

"Can we talk" he said sitting in my bed. I nodded and put my phone away. I looked up at my dad.

"Everything ok?" I said.

"Yeah, I was just wondering... What do you think of going back to whale island" he said smiling.

"That would be great! I miss whale island!" I said smiling.

"Really?" He said chuckling

"Yeah!" I said smiling.

"Great, well uh were gonna go back" my dad said smiling

"Really?! Yay! I get to see my old room!" I said excitedly. "Wait-" I said. "Why?" I said confused.

"Well you see son.... Me and kikyo want to get a divorce" my dad whispered.

"What?!" I yelled.

"Yeah... I found out she cheated on me" he said

"Oh-" I said "Im so sorry dad..." I whispered.

"Its fine son, it happens. Plus if I'm being completely honest. I found a new date" he said smirking.

"Uh-" I said.

He got over her that quickly?!

"Ok son pack your things" my dad said leaving the room. "We leave as soon as possible" I smiled and nodded.

Wow them being married only lasted a couple of months.

Wait....

'Because. You'll thank me later'

Is that what uncle kite meant?! What! Is he from the future or something!

I started pacing the room.

Does that mean I can be with killua...?
