"Will you help me help my sister Katara?" Zuko asked again?
Katara looks over at Azula but this time she didn't see a selfish evil monster, she saw a girl who was used, mislead, scared, and needed help and guidance.
"Ok I'll help you."
"Thank you so much Katara this means a lot," Zuko says relieved to have the help. They both slowly approach who has stopped screaming but is still sobbing loudly, "Azula?" Zuko says cautiously trying to calm her down, "Azula we are here to help you"
Azula looks up at Zuko and Katara with her eyes and face covered and spits fire at them but misses completely.
"Azula please listen to us we ar-" Katara can't even finish her sentence before Azula erupted.
"NOBODY WANTS TO HELP ME, NOBODY CARES ABOUT ME, NOBODY LOVES ME, EVEN MY OWN MOTHER CALLED ME A MONSTER, JUST LOCK ME IN A PRISON CELL AND EVERYONE WOULD CELEBRATE!" Azula exclaimed
"We do want to help you Azula I'm your older brother, so I've got to look out for you and I know people who care about you and love you" Zuko says in a calm voice
"Who ca-cares about me" Azula says continuing to cry
"I do, Mai does, Ty Lee does, our uncle does and I am sure mother did too, but yes people do think you are a monster but you can change that and I know you can because you can do anything" Zuko explains calming her down
"Do you really mean that Zuko?" Azula asks
"Yes, I do, and we are going to help you, is that ok Azula?" he asks looking back at Katara but Azula looks away trying to avoid eye contact with Katara
"Okay" she replies in a barely audible whisper
"Ok, Katara what I need you to do is use your water bending healing preferably on both sides of her head and I think that should put her mind at ease" Zuko explains
"Ok, but there is one problem, when I start the process it's going the flash through all the memories you cherish and all the memories you have at a very fast rate" Katara explains
"Just do it, please I want to be a better person" Azula said surprising both Zuko and Katara because she has been very silent, "I can handle it" but in reality she was terrified of what was to come.
"Ok just let me know when you are ready okay Azula?" Katara says has she gets the water ready
"Zuko thank you for giving me this chance" she says sincerely and he nods with a smile, "Okay Katara I'm ready"
"Alright in 3 2 ......"
