'I said I'll catch you, if you fall'

*Unedited*

Was this really happening?

She was standing in middle of Aaron's room in her pajamas- yes she sleeps in t-shirt and pajamas, can't imagine sleeping in salwar-kameez,so uncomfortable- and thinking what to do.

This was not as easy as it looks.

First, She don't know how its like to share a room with .... her husband.

Actually it's that thought that is making her nervous. She was actually stuttering in her thoughts. She don't wanna think about it.

There was a couch in the room and it's bigger than normal couches, just beside the floor to ceiling window, which can be a converted into make shift bed, but she don't want Aaron to sleep on it. It's his house and it's unfair that he has to leave the luxury of a bed for her comfort.

She must take the couch, she thought and she did. She took the extra blanket from the closet and a pillow from the bed and settled on the couch. When she sat, she was able to saw the half moon in the sky and stars. She smiled, it's her favourite hobby, to watch stars. The floor to ceiling window provided the view of the far away city lights and trees. It was a serene view. She could settle down here.

She remembered her hostel. In that large hall which was divided in compartments, her bed was her home, and her besties bed was her heaven. She was grateful for that hostel life, now, but in a way it's left her dissociated with the outside world and its ways. It was like ages ago, when she shared a home, a life, with so many people, she called friends.

But life goes on and it left so much behind. In the end, it's all bittersweet memories.

She lied down on couch, it was already 11 pm and Aaron was busy taking a shower. Who shower at night? After dinner Manvi and she did dishes and the talking. The girl actually started by apolozising, which was unnecessary. It was mean but Kate was also rude, so.

It's alright, she thought.

Aaron appeared from the shower in shorts and towel drying his hair. He expected to see his beautiful wife sleeping on the bed like in the afternoon, but frowned when he saw the bed empty.

His eyes roamed in the room and he saw the beauty on the couch, tucked in a grey thin blanket, one arm on the eyes blocking the lights. She was one of those people who can't sleep without a blanket on, even if it's May hot.

He put on a sleeveless blue t-shirt, most of the time he sleep without a t-shirt on, but today was not that day. It was odd to have someone in his bedroom. He never shared his room, like never ever. He switched on the AC and night lamp.

He remembered the previous night, he was going to tell her about his brothers arrival and the meeting. But instead he carried her to his room when he found her asleep outside on the benches.

He knew it was a douche move, and pretty lame excuse to keep her in his bedroom. But he like watching her sleep. It was his new favourite hobby-to watch his beautiful wife sleep.

He liked how cliche it sounded. He was whipped.

But, he want Mia to be as comfortable as possible in his bedroom. Even last night he slept on the couch because he didn't want to startle her or make her afraid. It was the last thing he want to do.
