As you make your way out, you spot Jihyo and Daniel at the door, hugging.

You: (I guess she's still going strong with Daniel oppa.)

You sigh and turn around, heading to the elevator. What you didn't know is that both Jihyo and Daniel saw you.

Daniel: I guess she didn't know we're...

Jihyo: Yes.

Daniel: What are you waiting for, Jihyo? Go and get her!

A few minutes after the party...

Jihyo spots you, talking to Stray Kids. She sighs as Jeongyeon slides next to her.

Jeongyeon: You should go ask her out, Jihyo-ya.

Jihyo: I don't know, unnie. Y/N is still mad at me after that dating news from two years ago.

Just then, Nayeon joins the conversation.

Nayeon: What is going on here?

Jeongyeon: Our leader is scared to confess to Daepyonim.

Jihyo: I am not.

You: ...I hope this year, we'll have a...

In the corner of your eye, you spot Jihyo's gaze, causing Jihyo to look away. You giggle.

Bang Chan: Something wrong, Daepyonim?

You: Oh, nothing. Anyways...

Nayeon: Why are you hiding your face?

Jeongyeon: Daepyonim caught her staring.

Jihyo: I think I have to make a phone call.

She takes out her phone as she heads out.

Jihyo was outside of the company, waiting for someone. Then she spots someone getting out of the passenger seat of a van.

Jihyo: Annyeong.

Daniel: Annyeong.

The two of them hug each other.

Daniel: So, what's up?

Jihyo takes a deep breath.

Jihyo: Oppa, I think... we should break up.

Daniel gives Jihyo a confused look.

Daniel: Eh? I know we didn't get to hang out as much due to our schedules, but-

Jihyo: It's not that. It's just the reason why we started dating in the first place is that... I have a crush on someone that I'm not supposed to date to the public.

Daniel: Let me guess, it's Y/N?

Jihyo nods her head.

Daniel: I understand.

Jihyo: You're not mad?

Daniel: Of course not. Besides, I respect you and Y/N's relationship for a while.

Jihyo: Can I hug you one last time?

Daniel spreads his arm.

Daniel: Yes.

Jihyo brings herself into Daniel's arm, and she spots you, watching.

Jihyo: Y/N-ah! Wait!

It was too late. The elevator door closes as you catch each other's eyes.
