PLATFORM 9 3/4 WASN'T THAT HARD TO find. Carina pushed her trolley to the brick and she found the infamous hogwarts express. It was 10 minutes to 11, that's why the platform was so crowded. She gave her trunks to the officer and swam to ocean of people, trying to enter the hogwarts express.

Carina's lips turned into a thin line, hiding her excitement under her blank facant. Her elegant black dress wrapped by a black robe as well. She held her chin up and a straight posture just like Walburga taught her. Carina Black couldn't help but jealous at others students. Their family said goodbye but Carina had no one. With that, she entered the train and looked for empty compartment.

The train already moved but she hadn't find empty compartment. She didn't want to spend 7 to 8 hours with strangers. But luck wasn't in her side that day. With a loud sighed she walked to the back of the train when she noticed a curly haired boy sat alone in a empty compartment.

Carina was tired and just wanna sit down. It's better than nothing, she thought. Slowly but surely, she opened the door and asked politely with a small smile, "Excuse me, is this empty?"

The curly haired boy looked at her direction and let out a loud scoff, "So I'm invisible now?" He asked with a playful smile.

Carina couldn't help but laugh at the boy sarcasm. She didn't have any friends to talk with.

She smirked playfully, "Pretty much. But I know one thing for sure that your charming smile wasn't invisible." Carina finished with a wink.

The curly haired boy barked a laugh and said, "Then I guess this compartment is empty."

Carina smiled and sat across the curly haired boy. "I'm Nott. Theodore Nott," He held out his hand.

Carina remembered the Nott family, he was one of the 28 Sacreds that Walburga taught her.

She smiled at the boy and shook his hand, "And I'm Carina. Pleasure to meet you Theodore."

"Pleasure's all mine. Are you first year? Because I never saw you before."

"I'm new here but I'll enter my third year."

Theo's eyes widened and beamed, "That's brilliant! I'm also in third year. I'm in the best house, Slytherin. But from your look, I guess you'll enter Hufflepuff you know? The softie one," His eyes kept a playful glint.

Carina titled her head and pretending to think, "Guess you don't know me at all, querido."

Theo wore a smug smile and teased back, "But I will know you, princess."

Carina and Theo talked for hours. They just clicked and Carina was glad she was making a friend. Theo was a sarcastic yet easy going person and Carina was an easygoing one — if the person was a pureblood—

Their laugh was stopped by a blonde pale girl who opened their compartment door. Theo held a smirk while Carina raised an eyebrow.

The blonde girl bit her lips nervously and Carina couldn't help but smile at the sight, "Don't be nervous. We won't bite."

Theo covered his laugh by a coughed and asked his blonde friend, "What did they do to you this time, Greengrass?"

Carina furrowed her eyebrows and glanced at Theo and the blonde girl back and forth. Theo who noticed Carina's confusion tried to explain, "Daphne Greengrass here has a thing to be too kind. You know Parkinson is mean, right?"

Carina's face softened and wore a welcoming smile, "Come in then."

Daphne said a thank you and sat next to Theo. She held her hand to Carina and smiled, "My name is Daphne Greengrass. And you are..?"

"Carina. Pleasure to meet you, Daphne. Are you in Slytherin too?"

"Oh no, no. Pleasures all mine. And yes, I'm in Slytherin."

Then the three of them talked and surprisingly, they got along just well.

"Nasty thing that dementor," Theo commented once thet got of the train. Carina still shivered because of the cold and the dementor didn't help a thing about it.

"Tell me about it," Carina muttered while trying to wrapped her robes. "Well, this is the part when I say goodbye then."

Daphne smile at her and tapped her shoulder comforting, "I'll see you on slytherin." Daphne winked playfully.

Carina couldn't help but grinned at her blonde friend. "See you, Greengrass, Nott," she waved to her friends then walked to Hagrid, the half giant.

The air was still cold because of the rain and the street was full of water. She slipped and almost fall if it wasn't for the boy who held her. She gripped her arms on the boy's forearm. "Woah, slow down there," the boy held her.

Carina cursed under her breathe, "La mierda," she steady herself and fixed her black robes. She cannot believed herself that she almost embarassing herself on her first day. Walburga would be pissed that for sure.

Carina lifted her head and looked at the boy who have beautiful, mesmerizing green eyes. But as soon as she saw the red and golden tie around his neck she pushed the thoughts in a blink. "Thank you for your help." Without waiting a response, she joined the first years.

Harry who still awestrucked at the girl blinked a couple times. Hermione who noticed her friend still standing, asked Harry concernly, "Harry? Are you okay?"

Hearing Hermione's question he regained his focus and asked his smartest friend, "Hermione, do you know who that is?"

Hermione furrowed her eyebrows, thinking and shook her head, "No, but she's too old to be a first year."

Ron smirked at his best mate and teased him, "Just pray that she'll sort into Gryffindor, mate. I know you'll love it."

"Oh, shut up, Ron."
