izzy: hello fam! welcome to my youtube channel and for today, i will be answering your questions about my gymnastics career [winks at camera]

izzy: but before that, make sure u hit like and subscribe and turn on the post notifs for more adventure with me!

izzy: as u can see i have my phone with me, aaand i have your guys' questions saved

first question: when did u start gymnastics and why?

izzy: so i started gymnastics when i was about five or six. my mom brought me to the beach in LA and there was a lady who was doing kips on the bars. i remember just walking up to her and asking her what her tricks were called and later that month, i begged my mom to let me train in gymnastics and the rest is history

second question: who is/was ur favourite gymnast?

izzy: for now i think simone biles. i mean, she's brilliant and her landings are clean and perfect. ugh, she's-- i love her!

third question: what was your favourite event in gymnastics?

izzy: my all time favourite is and will always will be the floor event. i think the tumblings are more fascinating and you get to express yourself more when doing your floor routines.

fourth question: when was your worst injury/fall

izzy: i don't exactly remember when but--

[phone starts ringing]

izzy: oh wait, hold on. louis is calling me [accepts facetime]

louis: HELLOOOO

izzy: hey!! whats up lou?

louis: nothing. just wanted to see what u were doing and if u wanted to hang out later

izzy: im currently filming a video right now. say hi to the camera [faces louis to the camera]

louis: hey guys! i hope she's making good content [laughs loudly]

izzy: of course i am! anyways, i'll call u later as soon as i finish the video, okay?

louis: sure, iz! bye!

izzy: bye! [blows a kiss to the camera before returning her attention to her vlogging camera]

izzy: as i was saying... my first bad injury was-- i think it was when i fell on the uneven bars. ooh yeah thats right. i was super nervous for that day and i missed the bar and instead fell on my hand. luckily, my coach managed to catch me before my head hit the floor and i only got a sprain but i had to put it in a cast.

fifth question: which event did u hate the most?

izzy: no doubt, the vault. [chuckles] i mean i don't exactly hate it. i just dreaded that event. when i first got into gymnastics, i couldn't get the timing right and i kept hesitating to jump. it was just more difficult for me but i managed it anyway.

sixth and last question: why did you quit gymnastics?

izzy: when i got into acting, it became hard for me to balance training, school, and acting classes and filming. i knew gymnastics wasnt the right path for me so i had to let it go so i could pursue being an actress. it was a difficult decision but it was definitely worth it especially because i made friends with the best people [shyly smiles]
