"Is Carlos here?" I ask, smiling.

She nods her head, beaming.

"Why don't you go upstairs and call him?" She asks.

I nod and go to his room.

The door is closed so I knock.

"Carlos?" I ask.

No answer. That's weird. I knock again.

Still no answer.

"Looking for me, Angel?"

I yelp and he laughs.

I scowl at him and cross my arms over my chest.

"Carlos! How many times have I told you not to sneak up on me?" I say, annoyed.

He shrugs.

"It was worth it. You should have seen the look on your face. It was priceless." He chuckles.

I glare at him.

"Right. Let's get to work." He says.

"Where do we sit?" I ask.

Before Carlos could respond, some one else did.

"Son. I need this house to have pin drop silence. Take your girlfriend somewhere else." His dad says a bit rudely.

A warm feeling radiates inside me at the thought of me being Carlos' girlfriend.

I look at Carlos.

He seems too annoyed to have noticed.

I try to ignore the slight sinking feeling that I feel.

I shrug it off.

"Let's go to a quiet place." He says, tugging me by my wrist.

His hand wraps perfectly around my tiny wrist.

His warm hand feels so good against my skin.

Why is that all I can think about around him?

"Mom, I'm taking Kiara somewhere." Carlos tells Elly, when we reach the living room.

She smirks.

"Of course, Sweetie. You two have fun okay?" She says, clearly happy to see her son hanging out with me.

I blush and look down in an effort to hide it.

Carlos catches me and smirks.

When we're outside his house, Carlos turns to face me.

He's smirking.

"Want to have some fun, Angel?"

His definition of 'fun' is very different from mine.

"Depends. What's on your mind?" I ask.

"It's a surprise. You'll love it, don't worry." He says, grinning.

I can't help but smile.

"Lead the way, Dicaprio." He scowls.

He hates being called that. Says it reminds him of his father.

"Sorry."

"It's fine."

I see Carlos' car parked in the garage. Instead of walking towards it, he walks past it.

Confused, I follow him. He stops in front of a vehicle. It's not a car, but a motorcycle.

He hands me a helmet and says,

"Hop on."

"No way am I getting on that." I say, shaking my head vigorously.

"Why not?" He says as he starts the engine.

"Because I've never been on a motorcycle before and I don't trust it." I say.

He smirks.

"You've never been on one? All the more reason you should get on." He says, shaking his head in amusement.

"I don't trust it." I say, glaring at it.

He chuckles.

"Come on, Angel, live a little. What's life without risks?" He says, ruffling his hair.

"Carlos, what if I die? I don't trust that thing." I protest.

"Do you trust me?" He asks, looking at me straight in the eye.

Without hesitation I say, "Of course."

"I'd never hurt you or even let you get hurt. You'll be safe with me." He says, seriously.

I sigh and hop on.

"You can hold on to me if you feel scared. After all who can resist being near me?" He says cockily.

I hit his arm and scowl.

He groans in pain.

"You wound me, Angel."

I roll my eyes.

"Eyes on the road. I may trust you, but I don't trust this death machine." I say.

He chuckles.

I bite back a smile.

I wrap my arms around his waist and rest my head on his back as we drive off.

"Angel, wake up. We're here." I hear Carlos say, as he gently removes my hands from his waist.

I groan and my eyes flicker open slowly.

I'm met with his pretty hazel eyes staring back at me.

"Enjoyed the ride? Or were you dreaming about me and didn't want to be disturbed?" He says, smirking.

I scowl and dismount the bike.

"You wish. I didn't enjoy the ride one bit." I say, though I really didn't mind because I felt safe when I hugged him.

But there is no way I'm admitting that out loud.

It would inflate his ego even more.

He chuckles.

"Sure. You were smiling when I woke you up." He says, smirking.

"I was not." I argue, trying hard to hide the blush that was creeping up onto my cheeks.

He shakes his head, amused.

"Anyway, if you won't admit it now, you'll admit it later." He says confidently.

"Now, come with me. I think you'll love what I'm about to show you." He says, grinning.

I find myself smiling too. His smile is so contagious and adorable.

He parks his motorcycle near a tree.

Then he comes up behind me and hands me a blindfold.

I look at him, confused.

"It's a surprise, Angel. You'll love it." He says, smiling.

I sigh then put it on.

He holds my hand and brings me somewhere. I hear a door open.

"You can remove it now."

I remove it and look at the sight in front of me.

I nearly gasp.

I haven't been here in ages.

Carlos is looking at me, scratching the back of his neck. I can tell he's nervous.

"Do you like it?" He asks, nervous.
