Chapter 18:

Avy's POV

I left him there and went back to the house. I again went to his study room, where my mom's novels were placed. I picked her first published book "Sunset" it is a romance book but a tragic story, where in the girl died after a year of their marriage in the end.

I placed the book back to where it belongs and went to do all chores. After everything is done I went back to my room and study for tomorrow's exam week

Tomorrow came

I prepared everything for the exam, 5 pieces of chocolate bar and a can of chocolate drink. All of these helped me during exam period

"You're taking an exam without eating??" Heeseung suddenly speak. It startled me

"I ate" I lied but my stomach suddenly grumbles. I gave him a wry smile and he move his fingers towards him, slowly pointing at the chair infront of him

I drag myself yo the table as we both enjoyed the bacon and egg that I cooked

After we are done I quickly ran out of the house to the bus station, I rejected his idea that we will go to school together.

My friend Dae was waiting for me at the school gate when I arrived "You waited for me?" I asked her as I knuckled her head in between my armpits

"Yah! I just put my makeup on.. you ruined it again" she said as she slap my arm over and over "Ehy don't you just date and do stuff like that to him" she said

"I'm too young~ I am just 17 you fool" I told her as I let go of her messy hair

"It doesn't matter... Don't you see? Nowadays even 13 years old has already started dating" she said fixing her hair again

"Why are you pressuring me to date when you are not even in a relationship" I crossed my arms

"I'll show you a trick" she said bring out her handkerchief and roll it "Let's play a game... Blind date" she said grinning at me

"Ohhh~ I'm so excited" I told her as my voice is in a monotone "what are the steps or rubrics?" I ask just to get along with her

"Here... you go first" she said as she placed the handkerchief on my eyes and tied it

"I can't even see a thing!" I exclaimed as everything was dark not even a single way that I can look at where I am going

"That's why it's called Blind date you fool" she said "here... Count from one to 10..... after 10 you stop and remove the handkerchief and date the person who is infront of you.. deal?" She paused for 5 seconds "this is going to be funnnn" she pushed me

I stand firmly, then slowly lead my way step by step counting

1.... 2... breath in.. 3... why did I play this stupid game.. 4... 5 not a single person can even step infront of me.. 6.. 7.... because I am just a simpleton, 8, I never dated before... 9.... 10.. this is stupid, why did I fall for it

I removed the tied handkerchief on my head and slowly opened my eyes, expecting that no one is infront of me

I was shocked that I can see two familiar faces "Jay?" I pointed at him and he smiled gracefully at me.. "Heeseung??" I was more shock at him but he just glared at me though "what are you two doing here?" I pretended

"Avy" Dae said as she was exchanging a dirty look yo me and continuously poke me

"We should ask the same thing.. what are you doing?" Heeseung's eyes were to hot like a fresh lava from the volcano

"Avy.. don't do something like that. What if you suddenly loose your balance and fall into someone's perverted arms" Jay said to me "I will never let that happen though"

"Aigooo~" he again receive a smack from Sunoo "as days past, I don't know if that's your personality but you're getting dumb"he joked

"Dae~ we need to go back in class... today is the start of the exam week" I pulled her and we took an exit. I was soooo embarrassed about this

"You should date them both" Dae said jokingly but I smacked her immediately "yah! That hurts you know" she said as she was holding her arm

"Stop it... we need to focus today until friday" I told her as I entered our classroom and quickly read some of my notes

Heeseung's POV

While I was walking in the school I noticed a blindfolded girl walking in my way

Ia that Avy??

I just stand there and wait for her. When she's close Jay, Sunoo, Sunghoon arrived. Jay entangled his arm on my shoulders while the others were keeping their distance "ohh.. is that Avy?" He pointed at her and smiled

As she remove her blindfold, her eyes widened looking at the both of us. Jay was getting cheeky in that minute but when her friend came, she found a way to escape from us.

Who does that? Walking blindfolded?

I sighed and tap Jay's hand. I am not actually prone that someone is always holding any part of my body.

"Jay did you know that those lines were old?" Sunoo put his hand on Jay's shoulder

"What's wrong with it?? Did you know that girls loves the old fashion way of courting?" He crossed his arms but I just rolled my eyes.

"How'd you know about that?" Sunghoon asked him

"I did some research" he replied. I can't believe he did some research about courting a girl when the best thing to do is be yourself

"Instead of researching some topic for the upcoming exams you... you.. you searched for a stupid one" Sunno smack him again and crossed his arms

We entered the room and was about to read some modules but it's too late, the teacher came in so early.
