Chapter 5:

Heeseung's POV

I look at her in a distance, observing every move she makes.

Did she even ate the chocolate bars I gave her?

Jay sat infront of her chair acting so cute like what Sunoo does everytime. She looked at him then to the chocolate bar Jay is giving to him, she then look inside her bag.

I hope he doesn't mention my name

A while later I heard my name came out from his mouth, which made me slap myself and I saw her looking at me.

I'm doomed

"Heeseung hyung! What are you looking at??" Sunghoon put his head on my shoulder looking at the same scene I am looking at.

"Ohhh~ Jay is straightening up" he said as he poked me. I took a sigh, he quickly get his head away from mine

"Yah! Why don't you just be happy for just even a second... You're not the same Heeseung I met 4 years ago" Jungwon told him as he pouted his lips

How can I be happy again? My happiness was buried 8ft from the ground. 4 years ago was the end of my happiness, 4 years ago I lost her

I glared at him as Sunoo immediately block me from him

"That's enough!" He said

The teacher came and they all went out, because the class will start soon

As soon as the bell rang I let my feet lead the way. That reminds me of what happened 4 years ago. She was my first love, my mother, she is my everything. I lost her because of cancer, the doctor said everything will be fine after the surgery 8 years ago, when someone died and donated all of her organs to those who are in need.

My feet led me to the theater. I look at the stage and thinking about singing but I can't, everytime I sing it reminds me of her because she was the one who encouraged me to sing and dance when I was at the age of 7, I gave the best of my ability to impress her. I always sing a song to her everytime she asked me to.

At the hospital, that was my last performance to her, smiling to her from ear to ear, she was my first and last audience. It broke my heart when I saw her die with my own eyes.

My tears are about to drop but I quickly drag myself out of the theater. Suddenly I saw her coming in I just walk pass her.

Where would she go at this time?

I stopped myself for a second and walk back

"I told you to move faster! Why are so slow!!!" Her stepsister told her as she laid her hand on her head

"Yah! Did you call Heeseung over?" Another girl asked

"Why would I call him? We are not close as friends... believe me" she begged her sister

"If you are that sorry... then... I would forgive you if you get on your knees and kiss my heels" she said as she pointed down.

"You forgot to do my laundry and most of all... I got to go to school with my uniform crumpled, which is way tooo embarrassing for me to face" she raised her eyebrow "now get on your knees or I mom will never ever forgive you" she grinned

"What are you doing?! She said get on your knees" she receive a smack on the head from her friends

Should I help? Or just watch?

Their attitudes are getting into my nerves but who cares it's their quarrel. Why would I bust in? Right

"Yah! Haven't you heard a thing I told you to do??" Her sister again pushed her over and over

That's it.. I am getting sick of watching her getting treated like that. As I gained my confidence and ready to stand up

"If you touch a single bit of her hair... I'll make sure to report all of you to the principal's office " Jay entered with Sunghoon, he was actually holding a camera as they entered.

All of them quickly covered their faces "what are you doing?.. shouldn't you smile infront of the camera?" Sunghoon told them as he is pulling their hands off but they won't give up either

"I'll make sure that all of you will be kicked out of school if you ever touch her again" Jay pulled her out of the theater... He was furious I can tell by the look in his eyes

As they went out, I stood up. Sunghoon saw me and quickly approached me "were you here all along?" He asked

"Yeah... I was just sleeping over here I just woke up when I heard people fighting" I pretended as I stretched my hands and pretended to yawn

"Ohh okay... Let's go" he tapped my shoulders as he lead his way out of the theater. I look back at those girls and they were shaking out of fear.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure that I will stand as a witness when that footage will be submitted to the principal" I winked at them but they frowned at me

I saw Jay pulling her to the rooftop again

Should I follow them??.. maybe not?

"Have you eaten?" Sunghoon asked me

"Yeah... if the boys will find me, tell them I went to the bathroom" I tapped his shoulder and slowly walk to the bathroom, I took a peek if he walked away and quickly lead my way to the rooftop

"I can't stand it! Watching you get hurt everyday!" Jay shouted at her

"I can protect you at school but what happens when you walk back home?" His eyes were full of sincerity

If she walks back home... she can either be kicked out from her house or getting bruises all over her body. After you meddle in that quarrel I bet her stepmother won't let it go that easy

I went back to the group as they stood silent after I joined them

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" I told them as I took a sip at the strawberry juice
