I was in church
Singing about how God heals the broken hearted
And they cry no more.
But you,
Have been through unimaginable pain.
And I would hold your hand
Until I crunched your bones in my fist
While I faced down God for you
Because that shouldn't have happened.
You shouldn't have had to face down your worst fear.
Live through it.
Day after day.
How dare God think
