Acceptance || Taeny+Seulrene (Incomplete) (Not Updating)

Chapter 9

"Seulgi-ah, Hi." Irene said and back hugged Seulgi. "Irene! You scared me." Seulgi said as she turned around. "Lets go to class. The bell is going to ring soon." Seulgi said.

"How's packing going?" Irene asked as they sat down at their desk. "I'm almost done. I just need to pack up a few more things and I'll be done." Seulgi said. "Thats awesome. I really can't wait for you to be staying with us. My house feels so empty." Irene said. "Was it always like that? Or did it become that way?" Seulgi asked.

"It used to be full of life but then my uncle left to go overseas, my grandparents died in a car crash and Jungah ran away. Then it was filled only with the screams of mom when she was beaten up and the shouts of my father......" Irene tailed off and looked down. "Hey, Joohyun-ah, are you okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to remind you of anything." Seulgi said and put her hand on Irene's. "No....it's okay, you didn't say anything. As I was saying, then they divorced and the house felt empty and not like home." Irene said.

"Well don't worry, soon mom and I will make sure your house is livelier than ever." Seulgi said. "Yeah, it will be awesome." Irene said. The bell rang and they stood up, waiting for the rest of the class to go in the classroom.

"Girls, are you two ready?" Taeyeon asked as she and Tiffany walked into Irene's room. "Yes we are." Seulgi said. "Seulgi, your room is cleared out already. Taeyeon wants to buy you a few things for your new room." Tiffany said. "Thank you Auntie Taeyeon. You don't have to-" Seulgi was cut off by Taeyeon "It's my pleasure Seulgi, consider it a housewarming gift."

"Come on. I'm really hungry. The faster we finish shopping, the sooner I'll get to eat." Irene said. Tiffany chuckled. "Okay, come on. Let's get going before the hungry bunny becomes an angry bunny." She teased. "Aunt Fanyyy, don't tease me like that in front of Seulgi." Irene whined. "The second stage of a hungry Irene. The whiny stage. We should at least get her a snack before we start shopping." Taeyeon said as she smiled.

An hour and a half later, the 4 woman were standing in a curtain shop helping Seulgi choose her curtains. Irene felt her stomach growl so she sat down next to her mother. "This is the last shop sweetie. Then we'll go eat." Taeyeon said. Irene stared at Seulgi. "She's beautiful, isn't she?" Irene said softly. "Yes she is." Taeyeon responded, staring at Tiffany.

"What!?" They both said in shock as they realized what they had said. "We shall not speak of this. I'll buy you a pack of your favourite chocholate milk." Taeyeon said. "Deal." Irene said and stood up. She went to Seulgi. "Seulgiiii, I'm hungry now." Irene said. "I'm done now." Seulgi said. "Finally." Irene said.

Taeyeon paid and they went out of the shop. They went to the food court and sat down. They ordered their food and sat in silence. After some time, their food came and they started eating.

"Mmm, the food is amazing." Irene said. "Do you want to try some of mine?" Seulgi asked, picking up a piece of food with her chopsticks. "Sure." Irene said. Seulgi fed Irene and Irene hummed in satisfaction. "It's really good. I can't remember the last time I had such amazing take-out food." She said.

"Thats why you shouldn't stay in and study all day." Seulgi said and lightly poked Irene's cheek. Irene giggled and blushed.

Tiffany leaned closer to Taeyeon. "They are already acting like a couple. Let's make sure that nothing hurts them because of it." She said. "Of course." Taeyeon whispered back. "I see that now that the hungry bunny has been fed, she is much more energetic." Taeyeon said. "Why are you teasing me so much today mom?" Irene asked. "Because Seulgi likes it when you blush. Look at how she is staring at you." Taeyeon said.

Irene looked at Seulgi and Seulgi turned a bright shade of red. Irene giggled shyly.

"Mom, Seulgi and I want to walk around. Is that fine?" Irene said after finishing her food. "Of course Irene. Just don't be too long." Taeyeon said. "Thank you Auntie Taeyeon, we will be back in half an hour." Seulgi said. Tiffany nodded.
