"They wouldn't hurt you Bobby" You say, extending your hand to put on his. He gave you a tight smile and then leaned forward kissing your forehead. "Well, while the idjits argue about what to do with the both of us, do you want some coffee?"

You hadn't even realized the time, it was almost 5 am. You had been talking most of the night.

"Hell yes" you reply realizing that going to bed at this point was hopeless.

You went downstairs and grabbed your laptop, bringing it to the kitchen with you to do some research while you wait for the verdict from the boys outside. Bobby sat across from you, reading one of his books, sipping his coffee like nothing had just happened. You just smiled, admiring his ability to move past certain things, you were damn grateful for it too. You sat and read and drank coffee alongside him.

After what felt like hours, but probably was around 30 minutes, you heard the front door open and heavy shoes hitting the floorboards. Sam came walking into the kitchen a mix of sadness and anger on his face still. "We are leaving," he said glancing at me, but quickly turning his attention to Bobby.

Bobby just sighed and stood up to give him a pat on the back. "Alright, take care boys. Call me if you need anything"

Sam just nodded in return, turning around to leave.

It hurt. Seeing him turn to leave without even a goodbye.. it hurt. "Sam.." you said, he stopped his step to show you he was listening.

"I am sorry" was all you said quietly.

He just walked away. You heard the footsteps leave and the front door slam shut. Not even Dean came into talk to you. In a way you were grateful they had decided to go, but at the same time.. you wish they would have yelled at you. Beat you. Anything rather than just leaving.

And that's why you don't get too close to people. You always hurt people around you. You weren't sure if it was the demon inside that somehow caused pain to follow you, but you knew that this was the last time you would hear from the boys. And it hurt a hell of a lot worse that you thought it would. You didn't realize how much they had grown into your life. Sam was your best friend, and Dean was.. well, you were not fully sure what he was to you, but you didn't want them gone. But it was out of your control.

***TIME SKIP*** A few weeks later

You were tired after all your adventures tracking down the Colt for Crowley.

You knew it was crazy, but you had to give the boys a chance, and after Crowley told you that this was their best shot you helped him out. You knew that Crowley wanted Lucifer out of the picture as much as anybody so you trusted him. Honestly, you trusted Crowley with most things. Sure he was a skumbag, but he always kept to his word. His exact word, so obviously things could get out of hand, but you had learned to be wary of how he phrased things.

Not only did you trust Crowley, but you also still had your job with him. You liked the freedom being a demon gave you in this aspect. Being able to teleport wherever you go was by far your favorite part, but the job did bring a lot of stress and heartache. Crowley wanted you to remain in your position as the second in command, but you knew that what you would be doing was wrong and would just feed your demon side more than you could handle. So instead you decided to just be in charge of making deals. yes it was wrong. But this way you offered the people a way out, would give them more than ten years if you couldn't get them to see the reality behind what they were doing, or just flat out refuse some of the really nasty ones (it still surprises you what awful things people wish for).  Plus, someone else would have come anyway. You were tempted to get into the torturing field again, your soul yearned for such evil. But you fought off your cravings by killing monsters and ghosts and decided that torture would lead to a quick path too well.. literally Hell.

It hurt you that Bobby didn't know you were working with Crowley still after all these years, but he did know you were trying to stop Lucifer. You finally met back at Bobby's after a short drive. Yes you could have just teleported, but Bobby would have just been suspicious if you didn't have a car, so you teleported a few towns out, stole a car, and quickly drove home. You knew Crowley was expecting the boys to get the colt from him at some point that evening, so you decided to go to Bobby's to hear about the exciting news that they had 'found' the colt once again.

You pulled your bag out of the trunk and made your way inside quickly coming into the living room to see Bobby who was no doubt reading more passages to figure out if there was any other way to stop Lucifer.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed moving his wheelchair around to hug you. "You look like Hell"

"Don't remind me" you rolled your eyes hugging him back.

"That werewolf case really took it out of you huh?"

Yeah... werewolf you thought, But just nodded in agreement.

"Want a drink?" he asked turning to grab the whisky from the cabinet.

"I want a shower"

"More like you need a shower" Bobby replied, chuckling.

"Hey thought you would want to know" he said before you were out of the room. You turned back around waiting to hear what he had to say "The boys found it".

"Found what?" you asked, pretending to not know anything. He just looks at you, expecting you to pull all the pieces together. "The colt?!" you pretended to be surprised coming in and crossing your arms. "How?"

"Turns out your old friend Crowley had it this whole time"

yeah right. you thought to yourself. If he did I wouldn't be as sore as I am.

"Thats great!" you exclaim. "Hopefully they can put Lucifer down for the count"

You turned back around ready to leave.

"Y/n" Bobby said again, more serious this time. You knew what was coming. "Will you help us get to him? It might be nice having your expertise on something like this"

You just looked at him. You knew this would mean you would have to work with the boys, and as much as you missed them, they wanted nothing to do with you.

"Please y/n this might be our only chance. Plus Ellen and Jo are going to help so it will give you a chance to catch up"

You stood there, knowing he wouldn't drop it until you said yes.

You nodded your response.

"But first I am going to shower" you said turning around again.

"Good thing too, I was wondering when the paint was going to curl off the walls"

You just rolled your eyes, a small smile gracing your lips.
