Chapter 8

Seulgi blushed and looked away. Irene yawned and tugged on Seulgi's shirt. "Seulgi-ah, lay down please. It will be more comfortable." Irene said. Seulgi nodded and lay down. Irene lay down next to her. "Won't you fall?" Seulgi asked.

"I'll just hold on to you so I don't" Irene replied.

"Fany baby, I'm tired. Hurry before I fall asleep hugging you." Taeyeon said, yawning as Tiffany unlocked the door. Tiffany giggled. "Let me just lock the door darling." Tiffany said.

After she locked the door, Tiffany pecked Taeyeon on the lips. "You can sleep on the couch, you look too tired to even walk upstairs." Tiffany said. Taeyeon, who was back hugging Tiffany, replied by kissing Tiffany's neck, which sent an electric current straight to Tiffany's core.

"Baby, not here. They might see." Tiffany said. "The house is unnaturally quiet, quieter than it's ever been since Irene and Seulgi met. That means Irene is sleeping and Seulgi isn't here." Taeyeon said softly. "Just be careful honey." Tiffany said, leading her girlfriend to the living room.

"TaeTae, shhh. Look." Tiffany said. Taeyeon looked at where Tiffany was pointing and saw her daughter sleeping on top of Seulgi, who was hugging her tightly. Taeyeon giggled. "Come. I think I'll manage to walk up the stairs. Let's not disturb them." She whispered.

"I'll carry you up honey. You look like you're going to fall asleep here. Climb on my back." Tiffany said, squatting so Taeyeon could climb on. Taeyeon wrapped her arms around Tiffany's neck from behind. "I'm ready." Taeyeon said, yawning as she burried her head in Tiffany's neck. The younger woman's scent made Taeyeon more sleepy.

Tiffany stood up and took Taeyeon to her bedroom. She carefully put Taeyeon onto her bed and went to lock the door. Once she did so, she went back to the bed and lay next to Taeyeon. "Taeyeon, you're so beautiful." Tiffany said.

Taeyeon giggled. "Even though my hair is messy, I have no make-up on and I'm tanned in some places more than others?" She asked. "Even more so when your hair is messy~" Tiffany stroked Taeyeon's hair "~you aren't wearing any make-up~" she caressed Taeyeon's cheek "~and are unevenly tanned." she put her hand on Taeyeon's arm. Taeyeon blushed. Tiffany pulled Taeyeon closer to her. "Have a good sleep, darling. I love you." She said.

"I love you too, honey." Taeyeon whispered as she fell of to sleep.

Irene yawned as she slowly woke up. She was lying on something warm and bigger than her. It seemed to be hugging her back.

The rain was pelting against the window and Irene could tell that it was night already without opening her eyes because of how much colder is had gotten. So much so that it seemed like her onesie didn't really keep her as warm as it did a few hours ago.

Irene opened her eyes and realised that the warm thing that she had been sleeping on was Seulgi. She slowly got off Seulgi and lay next to her, pretending to sleep. Lightning illuminated the living room for a second, then thunder followed. Seulgi groaned as she opened her eyes. "Irene-ah, are you awake?" She asked. Irene didn't open her eyes.

Seulgi asked again, " Irene, are you awake?". Irene moved closer to Seulgi and hummed in response, pretending to wake up. "Seulgi-ah. How long did we sleep for?" Irene said softly. "I'm not sure. Do you want to sleep more?" Seulgi asked. "I'm not really tired but if you are then you can sleep more. Let's go to my room. Mom and Aunt Fany will come soon." Irene said, sitting up.

Seulgi nodded and followed Irene to her room. It was messier than usual and there were papers littering Irene's bed and desk. Her diary lay open among her school books and an empty mug. There were also a few empty energy drink cans that littered her desk.
