James when he spots you after the Christmas break.
This year you weren't able to spend your Christmas break at Hogwarts with the rest of your friends. Your Aunt, Uncle, and cousins were coming over from Italy, meaning you were forced to go home and see them.
Over the break, you missed your friends dearly, especially James. James and you had always had a special connection that just made you both inseparable.
Luckily today you would be traveling back to Hogwarts to finally see him again. You made your way out of the Hogwarts express and sat in a carriage with a bunch of other 6th years who had left Hogwarts for the break.
When you arrived at the entrance hall it was still light outside, you made your way into Hogwarts until you were interrupted by someone yelling your name,
"Y/N" Someone yelled, you turned around to see James sprinting towards you.
You smiled and laughed, James continued to run to you until he was a couple of meters away from you when he tripped and fell to the ground. This made you laugh so hard your stomach hurt.
Suddenly you were lifted off the ground by James who had surprisingly gotten off the floor quite quickly. He spun you around,
"I missed you so much Y/N!"
"I missed you to James, now put me down before we both end up on the ground," You say between laughs
James put you down and then wrapped you in his arms. You both stayed there for a few minutes just thankful to be back with each other.
