Me: It tastes sweet and round.
The person, looking puzzled: Round?
Me: Yes.
The person, still confused: The water tastes round?
Me: Yeah. That other water tastes like... um...
The person, who is still confused but smiles: A cube?
Me: No, like a triangle.
The person, ready for this conversation to end: ...

A/N: The Person in this snippet both is and isn't the same person from the earlier one. From this point on, until I decide to change it up, the Person will be an amalgamation of the various people in my reality—the Person is real but isn't just one individual. This makes sense in my mind, but my mind is hardly a trustworthy judge of what makes sense ... :{
I apologize for the confusion, but I couldn't bring myself to post this snippet without at least attempting to clarify who The Person is.
