Kats POV
I laugh and me, Mae, and Allison run into school. I walk towards my locker and look around for Thomas, I had a gift for him and really wanted to give it to him. "Hey have you seen Thomas?" I ask Mae and she bangs her head against her locker and I put my hand in front of her forehead. "Don't do that," I whisper and she sighs.

"I haven't seen him." She says and I frown,

"Guess I'll see him in first hour then." I mumble and she groans,

"Thomas this Thomas that like do you ever stop thinking about him?" Mae asks and I shake my head, "he's so gross and mean and bleh." Mae says and I glare at her,

"He's not mean." I say and grab my folder for math and walk over to math.

20 minutes later
"Class, I have some sad news." Ms.Linda says and we all look up. "We all know Thomas Culpepper. Unfortunately he passed away yesterday in a car accident." (Weapons down) I feel tears brimming in my eyes and then I start to feel sick so I stand up and run down the hall.

Jane POV
I laugh and Cathy kisses my cheek and then my forehead. "I love you Ms.Seymour." Cathy says and I smile,

"I love you too Ms.Par-" my phone starts ringing and I look at it. "It's the girls school," I say and Cathy sighs and crosses her fingers.

"Please don't let Anne be in trouble again." Cathy whispers and I answer it,

"Hello?"

"C-can you pick me up?" Kat stutters and I knew she was crying,

"Yeah. Why what's wrong?" I ask and she coughs,

"I'm n-not feeling well." Kat says and I stand up,

"Yeah I'll be there soon." I say and she sniffles,

"Th-thanks." She whispers and I walk over to the door and put on shoes.

"Bye Kitty, I love you." I say,

"I lo-love you too." She whispers and hangs up.

"What's wrong?" Cathy asks,

"Kat said she's not feeling well and she's crying." I say and Cathy walks over and puts on her shoes.

At the school
I open the door to the office and I look at Kat who was crying, she looks up and runs over and hugs me. I frown and hug her, "Kat come here so Jane can sign you out." Cathy whispers and Kat walks over to her and hugs her while Cathy whispers stuff into her ears and rubbing her back.

At home
I lay down behind Kat and she continues to cry. "What happened?" I ask and Kat looks at me,

"Th-Thomas died last night." Kat whispers and I hug her and she hugs back crying into my shoulder. "H-he was one of my best friends." Kat mumbles and I run my fingers through her hair.

20 minutes later
I walk downstairs and Cathy looks at me concerned. "Is she okay?" Cathy asks and I nod,

"Thomas Culpepper died last night." I say and Cathy frowns, "she cried herself to sleep." I whisper sitting down next to Cathy and she wraps her arms around me and I get tears in my eyes. "I hate seeing her sad," I whisper and bite my lip and Cathy hugs me and kisses my cheek. I let a tear fall and she wipes it away.

Random Fact: my cat bit my cheek last night while I was TRYING to watch Tangled-
