31. Will You Go Out With Me?

Jane POV
I pace around my living room while Anne, Kat, and Edward were sitting on the couch watching me. "Mom-"

"Shhhh," Edward interrupts and Anne sinks back into the couch. "Jane stop pacing you're making me very dizzy." Edward says and I look at him,

"Okay, well it's not everyday that you ask someone out after being broken up for 10 years after breaking up with them for something that never actually happened!" I shout and Kat looks at me scared, I walk towards her and kneel. "I'm sorry for shouting bug," I say and she hugs me. I stand up with her still in my arms and she giggles when I tickle her,

"Noooo," she whines and I stop. "Thank you," she says and I nod. "And, I think Cathy gonna love going on a play date with you." Kat says and I giggle,

"Maybe."

"Alright! Time to go to Cathys! Get some adorable picture of her and Mae and then I'll distract the kiddos, you ask her out. And then bada bing bada boom Emmy ships back together." He says and I roll my eyes and we walk out the door and into the car.

2 hours later
I smile as Edward starts distracting the kids and he gives me a thumbs up, I look at Cathy who was giggling at Edward being tackled by Anne. "Careful of the camera booboo!" Edward shouts and Anne laughs,

"Okie uncle Eddie!" Anne exclaims and I smile,

"Cathy?" I ask and she looks at me,

"What's up?" She asks and I start getting nervous,

"C-can I talk to you inside?" I ask and she nods, she opens the door and we both walk inside. I sit down next to her on the couch and she gives me a small smile.

"You okay?" She asks and I nod,

"Yeah. I have a question for you," I say and she nods.

"Ask away Jane." She says and I smile,

"Wi-will you go out with me?" I ask and Cathys eyes widen,

"I don't-"
