I don't know how I can face him after that stupid confession! I'm so ashamed of myself. Nanatiling nakayuko ang ulo ko habang tinatapos ni Lance ang pagkanta niya.
Nakiusap lang ako sa kanya na mini concert lang ito. There's still one more song after this one. Mygosh! Pakiramdam ko kahit sa panaginip ay maririnig ko ang kanta na ito! Sana ay lamunin na ako ng lupa o kaya ay maglaho na lang ng parang bula sa kinatatayuan ko. May nabibili ba na invisible coat? O kaya yung cream na pinahid ni Jerry sa katawan niya para maging invisible siya?
I really don't know how can I look him straight--
"Ano ba Danie? Kanina pa nakaupo si Lance sa sahig ng stage, pansinin mo kaya." Bulong ni Camilla.
Tiningnan ko naman kung nasaan si Lance and he is sitting on the stage floor!
"Miss President?" Lance said.
Tumingin ako sa paligid at lahat sila ay nakatingin sa akin. Camilla is smiling like a devil. He's reaching out his hand to me.
I look at him puzzled, pero inabot ko pa rin ang kamay niya. The crowd got a bit noisy because of their chattering.
"Come on." He said and pulled my hand.
Now, we're both on the stage with his band and the whole school is staring at me.
"Hoo!" Camilla cheered.
I glared at her and she just did a peace sign.
Please don't tell me he's telling me to sing. I can't, not infront of everyone again..
I felt him squeezed my hand, I look at him, he give me his reassuring smile.
"Lance.. I can't.." Bulong ko.
My fear from years ago is creeping in. Ayokong mapahiya ulit. Everyone's insulting laughter and indifferent stares, I still can see it.
"Trust me.." He whispers.
He then look at Ethan, Vaughn and Terry they all nodded like they understand each other by just looking. Ethan started playing his guitar and when I heard the beat I already knew the song.
"Sing Dana.." He said and handed me a microphone.
Nanginginig ko itong tinanggap. Tumingin muli ako sa crowd, I saw my brother and Corrine, Stephanie and Camilla. They all smiles, but, without any judgment. Instead, I feel warm inside like his smile.
