Danarine's Point of view
Tinapos lang namin ni Lance ang movie at lumabas na kami. I don't remember it much because we're talking about other things.
"See you later."
Paalam niya bago nagmadaling tumakbo papunta sa booth nila. Wala na rin naman talaga akong gagawin. My classmates didn't allow me to participate in our class booth. Masyado na raw kasi akong ginagawa nitong mga nakaraang linggo. So, they suggested that I take this as my rest day.
"Dan, what are you doing here?" Aria aka Miss Class President asked.
"Just checking. Ayaw niyo ba talaga akong tumulong?"
"Yes. Do you want something to drink?"
They made a mini cafe. I agreed on their plan. Maganda rin ang puwesto dahil nasa Lin Garden ito. Perfect for unwinding.
"A choco frappe. Thanks."
"No prob. It's on me."
Nagpunta siya sa barista para sabihin ang order ko. Almost all of the seats are occupied. Hindi naman ganoon kaingay ang cafe. Some of the students are studying.
"Here's your order."
Inilipag ni Aria ang baso na may lamang frappe sa table.
"Thanks again. Are you sure you don't need any help?" I asked again.
"Huwag kang makulit. I'll have to kick you out of here. Napaka-workaholic mo! Where's Lance ba? Ipapasundo na kita."
Halos masamid ako sa inumin nang banggitin niya ang pangalan ni Lance. Why did she think of Lance first not Cams or Steph?
"W-Why Lance?"
"Oops.. Sorry Dan."
She winked and left me to attend the other customers. What?!
....
The day is finally ending. There should be a fireworks display later but I didn't allowed it. Mausok at iyong Go Green club ay nagrereklamo. It will bring more pollution and harm on the environment.
So I decided to let E-Levate to have a mini concert.
"Thank you Lance!" I hugged him because of happiness.
Napapayag ko rin. The other band members were okay about it. Siya lang talaga ang hindi.
"Madaya ka. May kapalit 'to."
Nasa loob kami ng tent na jail booth kanina. Hiniram ko para makapag ayos sila.
"Anything. Thank you talaga!"
"Anything huh?"
He smirked. Oh great! Mali ata ang pagsasabi ko ng anything.
"Wait! Anything but decent!"
"What are you thinking Dan? I'll go ahead. Magpunta ka na roon harap ng stage. I need inspiration."
He patted my head and left. Jeez! Sobrang pula ko na siguro! What was I thinking! Hindi niya naman kailangan sabihin iyon. I'll always be on the front row for them.
Pagkalabas ko ng tent ay rinig na ang hiyaw ng mga tao. Well, its E-Levate!
I found the spot next to Camilla we're both infront of the stage.
"Iba talaga kapag girlfriend ng isang King." Cams whispered to me.
"Shut up Cams."
I look at the stage and saw him looking at me. Ngumiti siya at kumindat. I should be the only one hyperventilating right now, pero buong school ang kinikilig ngayon. Oh! You stupid King! Ang harot.
"Dami mong kaagaw." Asar naman ni Stephanie.
I don't know why she's here. This is the first time she's watching with us. Palagi namin siyang niyaya ni Cams manood ng concert pero palagi siyang tumatanggi.
"Stop with the judging look Dan. I made a promise to someone.."
She look at the stage. Isa ba sa kanila ang pinangakuan niya? I'm sure it's not Lance. Is it Ethan? I didn't ask her for more details. Magsasabi naman si Steph kapag ready na siya.
"Good Evening Grimley High students! Tonight we're going to sing three songs. Thanks to our Student Council President Miss Danarine Grimley we've got a chance to perform infront of our dear co-students. So let's enjoy the night!"
